My experience has been excellent thus far. Everything has been easy. I received the box and it was very easy to pack my tapes and reels and ship back. I received several emails regarding receipt of my tapes/reels, regarding that they are working on the order, etc. I received an email with links to the digital files which were of good quality and were separate, which was nice. I had questions which were answered quickly. I still have not had the time to download and put my videos together, but I do not anticipate having any problems. Very satisfied thus far.
My hi8 videos came out at a terrible resolution. Don't think it's an iMemories issue... just how used we are to hdtv.

Quite possibly the best Christmas gift I've ever been able to give to my children. They are able to view six videos their late Father made when they were young and their children were young. Quite a gift from an 80 Year old grandma. I wish there were a rating of 10, Especially for the outstanding customer service. Thank you so much imemories

I should have converted my 8mm movies 25 years ago. Seeing the family from the 1950s blew our mind.

Thank you iMemories for helping me convert all my home videos to digital. I went online to view and edit what you converted for me. I appreciate your program and your staff that helped walk me through the steps. I will be sharing iMemories with my friends and family that have their own boxes to digitize. This was well worth the money and saved me years of work. The differance between iMemories and other companies for me was your editing and sharing program. I created folders that allowed me to copy the hundreds of clips on each video to the child or family member it went to. Then I could either share them online or have a DVD burned to send to family and friends. My only suggestion because I'm not the greatest computer person, if someone could create a you tube video or have one built in to your program that shows step by step on how to use the viewing and editing tools. Thanks again for iMemories and staff

I'm glad I was able to get my videos but I feel they didn't do all 3 of my cassettes and only did 2.

I found the instructions somewhat confusing.
These tapes that were purchased around $200 should have been stored for me. I just paid to see them. I thought That was inc.So I had to purchase the stick from yall too at an additional $50. As a computer novice I did not find it user friendly.

Easy process but it took longer than I expected. Some of the video that was transferred was divided into sections labeled..."oops I forgot". They were portions and splices from other reels of video and it made it difficult to place them in chronological order. No explanation was given as to why the video was divided. Thankfully, I know how to work with video to place them back in order. Others may find it frustrating to watch small clips that are out of order of happening.

The conversions were of very good quality. The information about what could be done on smartphone and what could only be performed on laptop was limited though.

I believed that I was ordering dvds, I thought digitizing was simply putting my videos on dvds. I understood it would cost me $9.99 for each one. Instead I was informed that I would have to pay an additional amount to have this done. I am elderly and wish this could have been done for me, so I am not happy.
