My vhs tape was so old I never thought I'd see video's of my childhood again…. I was so emotional watching them for the first time in a very long time. I hadn't been very hopeful but they could be converted because I had a friend try it with his software at home he said he didn't think it could be done… Lo and behold I memories

I am very delighted with the whole experience I have had with IMemories. I really struggle with the new technology, I am old school VCR tapes but I know this is all in the past.
I have to step up to the next phase and going digital is that phase. I am terrified because I don't feel comfortable with this technology but the IMemories staff have put me at ease and have made the transition for me to digital a comfortable one. I just had knee surgery so I am in recovery and house bound. It has been such a treat watching all the family memories on my tablet in bed during my recovery. I have laughed more during this painful recovery than I thought possible. I would rate my experience as wonderful with IMemories.

My 88 year old mother passed away, and photos going back to her HS years were priceless, not to mention all the ones of her and my dad and my siblings as their family grew. Now we can each have our own digital copy, (which btw, the grandkids are quick to judge our sense of fashion back in the day) while the originals stay intact and safely stored with other treasures in her hope chest.

Looking through old family boxes, I found many old tapes in every single format, from 8mm reel to reel, to VHS and more. Tapes that I knew had been made, literary, decades ago. I had heard from imemories and decided immediately to send a few of them. The process was flawless. Shipping kit they sent arrived in a couple days and was excellent. They received my tapes and in a couple days all the magic started to happen. My wedding of almost 50 years ago. My, now grown up, daughters saying their first words. Sweet and beautiful memories just a computer mouse click away. And the imemories team handled everything in a professional and even compassionate way. Their Customer's Relation Team promptly answered my questions regarding editing software. I felt that they were really paying personal attention to all my material. There is no way to express in a few words, how pleased and happy I am with this company. I just sent my second group of tapes and have many more lined up to continue sending. Yes, we are talking of decades worth of tapes. I have full confidence in this Team, and I will continue sending them my material until all is done! Thank you imemories Team. Great job.
Videos are very poor quality. I expected them to be enhanced to a professional degree, but they were not.

Everything was wonderful, from the packing/sending process to grade of product, however I felt I was not made aware of the ongoing monthly price of maintaining the recordings! Felt the price was reasonable for the process and I should be able to have these videos available to me without paying a fee ongoing forever!

IMemories has always been great to work with. Whenever I have a question or problem, they have always helped me out.
I agreed to do the download and purchased a hard drive to put the video's on as well as large flash drives to give the video's to all my children so they can then have copies. I have tried this a couple of times and nothing happens, except that my computer appears to "freeze" and then I get the wheel of death... spinning, spinning, spinning? I will be calling for IT support as I did not see specific instructions in this and so far have been unsuccessful in my download process.
