I sent in 4 VHS tapes after purchasing their "kit". The ad I saw did not say you could use your own smaller box for shipping so I thought I had to use their huge box not realizing either it was only for mailing nothing else!
Then they only digitized two of the four because they said BOTH had only copyrighted shows on it so I emailed them as the one did have my son's 5th birthday on it (which I filmed in my house!) as they were supposed to skip over what they couldn't use. They told me it wasn't on there as their techs review the whole tapes! Well they didn't since it definitely was there! After letting they know that, they still did not review my tape but just proceeded to mail the originals back which cost me more $ yet. Luckily I used their 50 % off coupon BUT it still cost me $22.77 for just 2 tapes! I will NOT recommend this company to any one else.
My movies were converted very quickly and posted for me to view and download.
I was nervous about sending all of our special memories to a random company but our videos were all converted to digital and we recieved the originals back in a timely manner. Very happy we did this!
The whole process was quick and easy. We now have access to videos my children have never seen because we no longer have VHS players. I've already packaged a second box of videos to send off and can't wait to get them back so I can do more. I highly recommend iMemories to anyone needing to convert their old videos.

IMemories delivered as promised with two clear video renditions of the 7 inch reels we'd sent of our old super 8 mm sound movies taken between 1978 and 1985. These are precious images of our only child when she was born up to when she was a little girl with us in Korea (I was in the Army). Thank you.
I decided to have iMemories digitize my home movies and VHS videos. The experience was seamless. I sent them my items In the box provided and mailed it for no cost. When I got the quote, I decided not to digitize all of them now. I selected the ones I wanted digitized and received notice of completion in a few weeks. All items were returned to me with another mailing label that I could use in the future. I was able to edit my movies in the cloud. I highly recommend.

I sent 9 items in, and was able to retrieve them digitally, which I appreciate. They were as good as can be expected, considering how old they were, and it is wonderful to have movies of loved ones who are now gone. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the size/cost of the initial shipping box. It was much too large for what I needed. Perhaps you could give choices in your first sign-on offer -- if someone only has slides or negatives, they could choose a small mailer or box. I could have used something less than half the size of the box I was sent. The box in which my returned media was shipped was a much more efficient size.
I was so happy to discoverer this service. My husband had taken over a thousand slides in his earlier years, and is now disabled with some vision impairment. Viewing the slides on his old projector and even with a view finder was not helpful. Now we can see these old treasures on the computer---and share them with many familly members who have never seen them. I treasure this!
