I am relatively pleased with my order. The fact that two of my tapes were compromised makes me very sad, but that is not iMemories' fault. There are two things that I must mention though.
I sent my full box TO iMemories right around Thanksgiving, so I'm not sure where the purchase date of 2/4/21 is coming from. Maybe the date that they said my stuff was ready and all I had to do was pay and then I'd receive my stuff (over three weeks ago).
I wish that I was able to request a SMALL box for the one item I missed. I do not want to pay the full sum of shipping and handling that I paid for my large order just to take care of one small videotape. (Have you SEEN the size of their shipping box?!)
Also, I haven't received my originals back yet and I am starting to feel concerned.

Update: I have increased my rating by a whole star. After I submitted the above feedback, iMemories reached out directly and told me that my originals shipped yesterday (delayed due to COVID), and that I can send my one tape in "self-ship". Great customer care. Thanks, iMemories.
They have been great the only problem I've had a few times it's that the uploaded memories have been defective with the image freezing but the sound still playing and was surprised they didn't check it before uploading them on my cloud. It has happen a few times and I've had to send back the originals but they have sorted it out and I'm thankful. Also the advertise on their website that they improve the quality of the videos. Not so much. I actually had to point it out to them after they had sent the memories and then they retouched it afterwards
I was very sceptical at first. I am also very protective over my videos because nearly 12 years ago my children lost their father tragically and the videos contained footage of him. It's been 15-20 years since I was behind that video recorder and have seen the videos, so when I recieved my memories in a converted version it brought me to tears. I automatically shared them with my children and all they have done is thanked me. It's the least I could do and now I am greatly thankful to Imemories. I have more and will definitely send those in also. Pictures, videos, etc are amazing memories to be cherished.
Pillow picture is distorted. I informed the company and was told it was because of the picture. Pictures should be checked beforehand and customers should be informed to make choice to approve the picture with risk or send a new picture. They refused to refund. I'm more than happy to return it.
I found old films and sent them in. Films were processed in a timely manner and it is great to see my loved ones again!
I'm thrilled that my 20 year old videos are now digitized. The editing of the videos, however, was not great. The beginning of every video shows the last clip from the previous video, then cuts out and starts the new video.

I was so excited to send of my slides and couple of old movie reels. I was shocked by the price, but it was worth to me. I thought colors would be enhanced, some blurry removed. I did not find that to be the case. My longest movie reel is about a minute. But, I believe the charge is for the entire reel.
I wish I had done more homework. But, being lazy this sounded easy, fast and done.
I have also not received my original stuff back.
Overall a very good experience. It took little longer than promised, but other than that the work was of very good quality and delivered as expected. This was my third time using this service, and I plan to do so again.
I've had more than 20 video tapes for my daughter since after my daughter was 3 years old and now she is 23 years old lady and is becoming a doctor. The tapes are my treasure and digitalizing the tapes like my unfinished homework. I have tried several ways to convert the tapes to digitize format, but I couldn't find any reliable method until I saw an advertisement of I-memories. Thanks to I-memories I have completed my homework and I can reminisce the moments anytime I want to now. It was a tremendously amazing experience and I am satisfied the service that I-memories provided to me. Obviously it is a great system.
I have not received my originals. IMemories move at their pace. Pandemic provides them complete cover for not responding to customer requirements.
