I bought some products on the 15th os september with a delivery between 29th and 4th of october. I ask about my parcel on the 4th asI did not receive it. They told me to wait for an answer between 1-3 days. No reply yet. Logistics is not their best I suppose.
The website would not allow me to place my order due to an "error in my basket" which would not go away no matter what I ordered. It also didn't stop "iherb netherlands b. V. amsterdam" from charging my credit card for an order I couldn't place (why not iherb US?... is this now a scam site?).
Tech support gave me the run around for two weeks and said their was no fix, but that I should "keep trying". I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one and I told iHerb to cancel my account.
Do NOT give them credit card access. AVOID!
Ordered two foundations, one arrived broken. Unable to contact company. They have no live customer service agents and their online help is impossible. It asks you to fill out an online form but when you do you never receive the email or text codes. Will never order again. HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER FROM IHERB. They send broken items and are impossible to get a hold of to replace.

As others have written, iHerb does not follow-through with orders. I placed an order for nearly $400 USD and it got cancelled because I supposedly need to respond to another verification email, even though I was literally on the Live Chat with a rep as I was making the order to ensure it would reach my colleague in time for him to bring it to me. When I unhappily discovered that my order never reached my colleague, I contacted iHerb again, and wasted another half an hour of my time to explain to Ms. Glyn Angeles that the first rep had completely cancelled my original order without informing me that this action would change the delivery date (even though the first order was placed only around 12 hours before). For the 'inconvenience' of not receiving my order, Ms. Glyn Angeles offered me an insulting $5 off my next order! Good luck keeping customers with this sort of excuses and no guarantee!
I don't know why people keep writing they have horrible customer service. They were brilliant!
I got e. L. f make up palette set, which i am unable to get in UK. Amazon is the only other site i could order from but not only were they more expensive the reviews were worse. The palette set arrived quickly but it was damaged so the palette wouldn't slide.
I contacted customer service and within 10 minutes, they sorted everything out and i would hopefully be getting a full refund in few days.
I was excited to find iHerb, as I live outside the US. They offer products that I like and cannot find here. The first two orders went off without a hitch, but then the 3rd has been riddled with problems. Two weeks later, and I still don't have my third order. I have spoken to 5 - yes 5 - customer service reps AND the supervisor, and no one can figure out anything! All they say is 'sorry'. The package still hasn't been shipped - $110 worth or groceries! If you can find another company, I recommend you go with that company.
Stay far away from this store! I always receive the wrong items and if you order anything fragile or in glass bottles it will likely arrive broken or chipped because they use no packing materials for shipping. If you want to return the damaged item, guess who pays for return shipping - you! Clusterf***ed every time.
I received my order and the expiration date of Neosporin was 2 weeks later! I requested a replacement. Instead I received a stock accusatory email about not checking the product before purchasing! After another email, a refusal to send a replacement without charging me high shipping fees. Terrible customer service.
Just a note that this lovely reply from iherb really did nothing for me. They again said they can't replace the item because I would have to pay for shipping!

Our personal and business accounts have had multiple zero-dollar "test" transactions, from this company, and we have never done any kind of business with them. It appears that somebody or some software, using an account based in this company, is "spamming" credit card processors in attempts to locate valid credit cards.

Their product may be cheaper but first they charge you much higher delivery and once the order is despached you will be charged additional delivery charges by DHL in total they charged me £25.00 for an order of £10 protein powder and when I contacted customer service they emailed back saying it will take 2 months to get a refund! They should be banned...
I don't recommend at all buying products from IHerb.
The expedition of the products is a CATASTROPHE! 5 weeks waiting for my products. No information about the delivery status from IHerb. I spent so much time sending emails to an after-sale service which gives you opposite answers!
Finally, the product has been returned to United States when it arrived in France!
Iherb and DHL consider both that they were not responsible in the situation, you pay expensive fees and you will never receive your product!
I asked to be refund, and they paid me back only the delivery price. I'm struggling for several weeks to be refund for the price of the product but nothing!
Iherb are not honest, are robbers! Iherb has no respect for the customers! It's unacceptable!
Moreover, be careful with the composition of their products, for most of them, you will find phenoxyethanol or Petroleum derivative which are dangerous for health!

The company need to be more upfront about the customs fees that you are expected to pay for products shipped to the UK. Yes it is on the website etc. if you look hard enough for the information. As a customer, I believe iHerb should make this more apparent at time of payment and not use misleading language like 'Shipping Saver'. My advise for UK residents is to source the products locally to avoid paying for shipping and customs fees. It is not worth the hassle. I have ended up paying almost double for the item I purchased due to these charges. I contacted the company, but they just dismiss you with... Our shipping policy is very clear... Etc etc. Like I said, really not worth the hassle.
I started shopping at iherb over the past few months and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Standard shipping is faster than Amazon Prime shipping (realistically "2 days" is more like 5 days at least). I was so surprised and elated to get my first order 1.5 days after ordering it, I wrote an email to customer service just to thank them. Some of the prices can't be beat as well. I get all my vitamins here now as well as my Acure face cream and Giovanni conditioner which I can't even find at another retailer.
On my second order from I Herb, i found out what lousy service is. My home is in Michigan but I Herbs shipper, Laser$#*!, picked the order up in New Jersey and took it to California. Yes, they should have went north but went as far west as you can go without boarding a plane. I still havent gotten the order. It was in Ohio this morning so maybe tomorrow or Monday, i will get it... who know? But i know im done with them and Lasership. I will use neither in the future.

I had been purchasing from them for 6 years from Canada, latest order they put a charge on my card, and wanted me to identify the amount, contact them then it would be credited.
Bizarre! I know it is a security measure but for $20 order give me a break! I will never purchase from them again
I placed an order without looking into the custom clearance price. As i was already charged for shipping. This is simply pathetic! Was charged a bomb for clearance. N t worse part is you cannot get a refund as the product will not be returned if you don take it!

I had ordered a product (NeilMed) on iherb and the order ID is *******-0, i had paid the entire amount (3,245.51)through my debit card. I have paid in excess including transport, duty etc etc...
Now my parcel has arrived and the courier person is demanding more money to deliver the package. I feel cheated.
Iherb customer service people are extremely arrogant and rude and they say that the money that I had paid will be adjusted with the products to and fro transport if I return it without paying whatever they are demanding.

Package ordered 4 weeks earlier has not arrived. Notification about shipping was never received like in previous package. Contacted the customer support and was told to wait 6 weeks and then contact them again but they couldn't cancel the order and return my money because the package left their warehouse.
I don't think the lower price is worth the hassle.
