I have bought mountains of stuff from iHerb over the years and have always supported them by spreading the word among friends - an excellent customer by any standard. They are cheap, fast and reliable.
But be warned that if they send you a faulty product they will keep your money and not only refuse to put things right, but will actually refuse to communicate with you! I have had jaw-droppingly bad service from them that leaves me absolutely shocked. If you can't go and knock on their door to demand they resolve the problem they will literally just ignore all communication from you and keep your money. They could not care less about customers or their legal responsibilities as a retailer, and I am incredible shocked to have discovered that. I have been stolen from by a company I have supported for years.
Unfortunately they have no PayPal option, so as a consumer you have no protection or other way to get your money back if they choose to ignore your pleadings. So you have been warned!
Fortunately Vitacost have improved their service markedly of late, so I will go back to them. What a shame though.
I like products of this site, they are really good! The assortment is large and prices are reasonable.
The only thing I dislike is shippment. I choose standard shipping and it always delays and sometimes it even comes broken... It is much better to choose another methods of shoppment, you will pay more but it will arrive in time.
Products were either stale or defective. I attempted to initiate a return and for over a month sent e mails and tried to reach their "customer service" via phone. I lost my money and I hope to prevent anyone else from going through this. I wish I had researched and read their reviews. I would have saved money, time and upset.
They have a big choice, prices could be a bit cheaper though... their international shipping is good!
I ordered some superfood from iHerb.com to my address in Norway about one and a half months ago. For some reason unknown to me the package got stuck in the customs and returned back to iHerb.
IHerb refunded some of the amount I payed, but decided to keep 20% for them self in addition to the shipping fees. With goodwill I can understand the shipping fees, but the 20% of the order they did not refund is flat out bad customer relationship policy. What disturbs the most is their very impolite way of telling me this, and their total lack of wish to sort it out to end up with a satisfied customer. They even stopped replying me.
I found this awesome site when searching for a particular specialty food item. I also wanted it quickly and was looking for a site that offered expedited shipping. Not only did they have the item I was looking for, they offered expedited (and overnight shipping) at the lowest rates I have seen. Most of the time consumers get gouged on shipping, but not here. They have an incredible selection of vitamins, herbs, food products, etc., from A-Z and the item I ordered was priced lower than when I ordered it from Amazon! My item arrived quickly plus they send you free product samples that you get to choose. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I find this website easy to navigate and their prices are really good. I buy vitamins and supplements from them all the time. They ship quickly and the expiration dates are always far in the future, so I know that the products are fresh. I never hesitate to buy from them.
I've been buying from iherb.com for several years, and have never had any issues. Their prices are always the best and the selection is amazing.
Lots of products to choose from, found great prices on supplements that would have cost me twice as much elsewhere. My only complaint is shipping, first few times it was fast and everything arrived no problem, the last time the package was lost and they did not reply to any of my emails, then finally after a few months I got a partial refund. So if you buy from them make sure you pay a little more for shipping to ensure you get it each and every time.
Love iHerb, I save so much money ordering my vitamins and other health foods from iHerb. And everything arrives in great condition and within days of placing my order! Way to go iHerb!
I've been ordering from iherb.com for about 3 years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. While on their site you can type an ailment into the search bar and they will display the supplements that might treat the condition. Then you can read user reviews on each of those supplements.
Or if you know the exact name of the supplement you're looking for then you can type that in and they will show all brand names they carry for that particular supplement, including user reviews. Prices are good and delivery has always been very fast, within 4-5 days or so, plus if you spend $40 or more UPS shipping is FREE.
My husband thought he'd be smart and order his "preferred" supplements from another site and ended up asking me to order what he wanted from iherb. And when my pain doc tried telling me there was no other size option for Zyflamend anti-inflammatory, I sent him to iherb and he ended up showing it to his own sales rep. So he could carry it in his office.
Bottom line is... I trust this site with my health and money!
Ordered once through my friend who herself have ordered it occasionally from time to time. Then I ordered once for myself and it arrives pretty fast without delay. I'm generally quite satisfied with my products as I know not all health products might fit my body condition.
I bought Jason Natural Aloe Vera Shampoo & Hair Conditioner, Alba Botanica Body Scrub, full set of Avalon Organics facial products. I loved the facial products especially cos it fitted to my facial condition.
Cept the only issue on delivery, which the website have highlighted earlier before they send out their products that:
"The UPS driver may choose not to leave a package if you aren't present to sign for it. To avoid such a situation and ensure receiving your package, you may use a business address." http://www.iherb.com/info/Domestic
Which means I have to be at home to receive the product or contact the deliveryman to come at specific timing when I am at home (If I am unable to send it to my office).
Other than that, the site is pretty much reliable. They will also send you an email few weeks later to request for your good/bad reviews of the products which you have purchased so that other buyers can decide fi they want to buy the product or not.

I ordered from iherb.com over a week ago and I never received my order! Then they gave me an invalid tracking number. Once the tracking number was rectrified they said that it had been delivered to my front door. Never received it! If your thinking about ordering from this place please dont.
A great one stop shop for herbs and supplements.
I just wish the website had better navigation and search features.

Answer: Yes you will be charged extra, they dont make it clear when you place an order, but I was asked to pay an extra £15 sterling before they would deliver my goods to my home, so I refused and am waiting a refund of my order which they now tell me will take up to 6 months, not a good company to deal with, buy from home if I were you, I will not purchase from america again.
