I never understood why I received the letter. Was someone trying to scam me? It was difficult for me and many people my age do not have a computer or they don't understand why they were asked to do this.
The process is much longer than you would expect it to take. There is not enough explanation in the site to tell you what things are for what to expect and whether or not what you just did was correct or successful. If it is not successful or correct at any given step there should be a process for going back one step and correcting the problem.
Because I have not been an active user of the tools and steps required I turned to AI. I think ID. Me should create an AI to lead older people through the process (if they want).

Setting up IDME was fairly easy to do. Just follow the prompts it gives you. My daughter helped me do mine, because at 65 I'm not very good at the computer part of things but it was easy to do. And the agent I talked to made me feel comfortable to talk to. And I was very nervous. I highly recommend this to people.
