The support team answered questions about Medicare, private insurance, a HoverLift and called my pcp and setup a mobility evaluation for me. They had to transfer me to different people and never dropped the call once.

I thought it would take a lot longer to receive my chair. I was delighted to get it as soon as I did. The service man ( Steve) who delivered my chair was helpful and knowledgeable. All in all I am very happy.

I tried the first day to use it and proceeded to destroy walls and furniture. I ran over my foot now swollen and black and blue
I trapped my finger and received a serious wound that I should have had
Stitched up. Anyway I parked "the Monster " and haven't been on it since

I have not been on it since. I am afraid of it.

Since 2018 that had the first power chair from you, I had been very satisfied with that chair at that time. I lost the chair and also a mistake with the health insurance that I had at that time and also, eventually was stole from my disease. At tis time, I have the need of having a chair now, again, because I lost my left leg below the knee. It's very difficult to have balance yet, so that's why I need a chair that I can lift to the height of washing diishes and cook.

I recently called for a remote hoveround wheelchair, it was me who couldn't seal the deal. Now is not the right time for me. I need one too very badly. I fall all the time, in walking i get nervous and shaky i fall. I fall a lot all the time. Sometimes i do not get a warning at all, i just fall. I am scared i might break a bone, like my hip, pelvis or tail bone. Bad timing that's my issue.

Answer: So sorry to hear that. I am no longer living with my father-in-law, but I can add to my earlier review and comments. The company did exactly the same thing to him, again. A year later. They got in touch to say that Medicare had accepted their appeal and that the chair was now finally his, and they sent a guy round with the paperwork for signature and everything looked great. It subsequently turned out that Medicare hadn't approved anything and didn't know anything at all about the appeal, and that they were not going to pay. The story that Hoveround gave me was smoke and mirrors and back came the bill for the chair again. As far as I know, a year and a half on, the chair is still not officially his. I probably won't hear anything more about it now, but I'm quite glad I don't have to deal with these people yet again.

Answer: Yes, if doctor can prove medically necessary. Doctor must make file notes to support and you must have an office visit that only addresses the need for your chair.
