I ordered the mirror and by tracking was originally supposed to be to me days ago. I have not received it and made numerous attempts to email and no one gets back so I can't rate a product I should have received by now and haven't. I would appreciate a return call or email.

Order was originally scheduled for June 3 between 9:00 and 4:00. Was rescheduled by the carrier to June 4 between 9:00 and 4:00. Nothing was ever delivered. Waited 7 hours! Still has not been delivered!

I had checked on my order and found the shipping service lost my order. I responded to Houzz through their website and promptly received an e-mail response. Shortly thereafter I received a telephone call from customer service thanking me for my order and they were in contact with the shipping company. I also received another e-mail confirming our conversation.
From my initial website contact to final e-mail from Houzz customer service, the timeframe was only a few hours. Considering the state of affairs in our world today, this level of service, to me, is unheard of. I've never received such quick response from any order I've placed on line. This is my second order from Houzz and I am very pleased with the quality of service they've provided.

Although there was no physical damage to the outside packaging, three of the glass shades for the lamp were shattered. The packaging was appropriate. Consequently the breakage should not have occurred.

Well let me start by saying we just purchased a beautiful condo in NYC. The cost to furnish the place is around 30k which is no small amount. I decided to give houzz a try for a set of lamps in the 3rd bedroom and decide from there if I wanted to spend more with them. Delivery was slow and the lamps that came looked nothing like the picture, ok maybe a little like the picture but not what we are looking for. When I tried to do a simple return I was asked to take pictures of the lamp, the box and a few other things. Also I need to pay around $30 for shipping back which is a joke. Honestly I would pay twice as much to save myself time and money houzz falls short on furnishing my house, don't bother with giving them a cent of your money.

I'm in Canada and my order arrived promptly. Unfortunately one of my items was damaged but, Ashley in customer service, was able to help me and found a solution.
Returned a light fixture and had to ask Houzz to run interference for me just to get an RA number. I cost me $100 to ship it back. Today I opened a box to find a broken table. The box had obviously been retapped and the packaging was all retapped together. Hoping I don't have to spend another 3 days and 2 hours on the phone trying to get credit for this. What a hassle.

I scheduled delivery of my vanity on 6/3/21. I waited around all day as it said I had to sign for it. It never came that day and no one called to inform me. I had to search for a number to contact and there was a recording saying there was a delay and they gave me options for the next delivery date. This next date was not until 6/15/21. I sent emails to
CEVA. Waiting to hear back from them to see if it can come sooner. My bathroom is done and waiting on vanity/sink. I ordered though HOUZZ because it said it could be here by the time it was needed. I could not get several vanities from places like Lowes as they were not available for a month. I needed one quickly.
Received the light fixture fast enough-but had to return it. Still haven't received refund or message regarding receipt-going on 1 week. Also-still waiting on a mirror that I ordered about a week ago.
Didn't know the origin of the light fixtures I ordered. If I had known these were not US made I would not have ordered. They come up under search for US made items.

I ordered a morrocan pouf, an expensive one. It was advertised, 'last one', and after researching others decided to purchase. The box came quite beaten, with hodge lodge old tape. When opened i could tell it had not been open for quite some time. Hears maybe. The leather piping on the pouf was disintegrated and there are stains all over the bottom. Ite package is so large i can't move it nor do i want it in my house.
So there it sits. Can't tell you the inconvenience caused nor the lack of professionalism on the part of all parties involved. I have sent pictures and documented eyerythig.

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!

The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
