The company's reputation is mixed, with notable strengths in product quality and delivery efficiency, as many customers express satisfaction with their purchases and the overall aesthetic appeal of items. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly in handling issues related to delivery options, billing disputes, and product defects. Customers frequently report difficulties in reaching support and receiving timely resolutions, leading to frustration. While some patrons appreciate the extensive product selection and smooth purchasing experience, the inconsistency in service responsiveness and problem resolution highlights areas for improvement in their customer service approach.

I got Houzz Proo almost a year ago because I was trying to see if they had a good estimate program. However, they have estimate forms they don't have anything to help with estimates since this was my primary reason for signing up with House I tried to cancel. Repeatedly, I have called and they always refer me to a representative and asked to call me back. And for service of $100 a month that I'm not using it is starting to irritate me. I'm getting ready to report them to Better Business Bureau. I have contacted them at least six times only to get the same response that I have to speak to my representative, who signed me up.
I bought what I was told was a leather sofa 3 years latter it was falling apart and was not real leather. Houzz sucks and their furniture it garbage made in china. I bought 2 leather recliners with it to match. They were also fake leather and fell apart. How do these people stay in business?
Very respectful and responsible person this business owner I'm recommending you to this guy very very respectful
I bought a Vanity from Houzz for $1530. My order was confirmed and later cancelled with no reason. Now the vanity is selling for $4362 in your site. I contacted your customer service. Initially they stated it got cancelled because it was backordered, when I mentioned its available now for a higher price and that is illegal to do, they closed the chat window and emailed me with a 10% coupon apology.
Once you place an item for a price and customer purchased it is against the consumer bureau to cancel it so you can raise the price. You need to honor the price with that customer.

They dont mess around at Houzz Pro. I'm getting amazing service and support to help me grow my business. DONT SLEEP. Worth every penny!
I've been signed for a trial run of their advertising services back in 2020 with assurance i could cancel if the system didn't work for me. Well needless to say you can't cancel unless you jump through hoops come to find out. I've been Tring to cancel the service since 2021 due to the terrible leads out of class not vetted I could go on. They passed me around every time they can't get me to want the sub-par service they have. I have now paid them close to *******.00 for not one job / credible lead of this time. Been tring again since January every month I've tried to cancel. Emails / verbal requests over and over! This company does not care about you! You are $$$$ that's it. I went as far as to change my credit card # and they still found a way to continue charging me 480.00 per month. Thier offer to me from the latest agent Luisa is as of 8/29/23 sign a request to cancel continue paying every month till 5/29/24 then call them at a specific time frame to request again too be canceled then maybe. All I've asked it to stop charging me keep the spoils you've charged me so far and let me walk away! Their response is no we can let you out let us fix your services that we haven't provided you with for 3 YEARS so far. RUN as fast as you can this is a PREDITORY company looking for you to sign your life away and never let you go! Don't Ever Give Them You Credit Card Information you are at grave risk!

I've been contacting pro support for the past 2 wells now each day. Everyday multiple things happened. They said a manager will be reaching out within an hour & they will take care of me.
Jeff Shapiro, my account manager is full of ****. He is throwing me around, giving statements he will help and send me information, call me back and try to solve my issue but nothing more then bill crap.
I highly disrespect Jeff and his team. They have done nothing but trouble to myself and my business.

They will sell you on 90 days of training but that's a total lie. They don not provide training. They send you links to their website & youtube videos. They started our subscription before our 30 day trial was up. Our "trainer" assigned to us was in a 4 hr time difference so we could never connect with our team. When we did finally connect she ran through her "training" in 5 minutes. They have a chat option for help that I tried to use but anytime I had a question they didn't respond for 3-5 days. They put us with a new advisor in a closer time zone but the night before training I got an email that he canceled with no explanation. Then they put us with another advisor. By this time they'd already wasted almost a month of our time. I tried to cancel before our 30 days shouldve been up and they refused to cancel. They made me get on phone calls that were over an hour long and just kept repeating over and over that they were sorry that we weren't happy but all they could do was offer a month free. I am still getting charged monthly for something we can't use. You can't even write a review on their own website. Look at others reviews before you sign up. I am not the only one. This company is a money grab that does not care about their customers. Buyer beware.
Please see below. The vendor did not process the refund for returned merchandise in a timely manner resulting in my disputing the charge. When I contacted them a few weeks ago, they said that the refund could only be processed after the dispute was settled. That occurred per you letter on July 18th. Upon inquiring today as to the status, they advised me that I have to wait another 3 months before they will issue the credit and refund. This is simply not reasonable nor an accepted business practice. Accordingly, I request that the matter remains in dispute until such time that I am actually reimbursed for the retuned merchandise. And perhaps a push from you to expedite payment may help. It makes no sense that my client and I have to wait 3 more months to be reimbursed. That is simply not acceptable.
Thank you
Azeez

I ordered a mattress and still not delivered 2 weeks later and can't get an anwer on where it is. One screen online says its shipped, the other screen says will notify me when it ships. Offshore customer service has zero follow up with information. NO date, time of delivery or how it's coming. NO white glove delivery- even if I pay for a mattress, just leave it outside, but won't tell me when the date for delivery is. Will never purchase from them again.

Despite numerous attempts to cancel our subscription, our requests were not properly addressed.
We started our cancellation process in February 2023, expressing our intention not to renew the subscription. Our requests, sent directly to our assigned Client Success Manager, were acknowledged but not processed. Instead, they continued to promote their services.
Unfortunately, the formal cancellation process which involves sending a notice to a specific email (*******@houzz.com) was never explicitly stated in our conversations. Assuming our direct emails sufficed, we were surprised when we got charged for another year in June.
Upon realization, we followed the official procedure and sent a formal notice. We requested them to reconsider the June charge as our intent to cancel was communicated repeatedly well before the renewal. However, they stated they will continue to charge us until this new year contract is over.
Our experience has been frustrating and we feel a lack of transparent communication from Houzz's side. While the platform might offer some great features, their handling of our cancellation attempts has been less than satisfactory. I'd advise potential customers to ensure they fully understand the cancellation process and keep all communication records for reference.
Complete con. Signed us up promising leads. Vast majority were bots. Tried to cancel but they auto renew you for a year and now refuse to engage and cancel our plan. Absolute scam, please do not fall for this by signing up. Use google ads, use Facebook, use anything but these absolute con artists. I wish we had read the reviews before signing up. AVOID.

Houzz Pro is a scam. There is no benefits that will help grow your client base. They charge a large amount of money for a small advertising region. There is no way to cancel you subscription and your on file card can never be removed. Currently there is over 500 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Suggest, don't even view this website. They will find a way to constantly bill you. Very bad business practices.
I am tired of the SPAM from this website... no way to get rid of it. No way to un-suscribe, they are horrid.

Bought a metal day bed for outside and the total was $355 with free shipping. When it arrived it came in two very light boxes. This is tubular furniture at best and most companies do not use this anymore if they want to stay in business. If you want quality keep moving. The bottom of the bed was support by bowed pieces of slats. If they think that will hold up in a year they are delusional. I go to return and they offer be a 25% discount to keep. Still not worth it. So the solution was to allow me to ship it back and they deduct 83 dollars for the cost. So I paid them $83 for the original shipping and now they want to charge me to ship it back at $83. They need to just go to the post office and work. Never again.

I started with houzz around 1 year ago.I had a call from technical people 3 month ago
They said that i owe them 300$ and i don't have card on file that was tru so even with them providing me minimum value. So i paid and requested to close the account. Next month they charged my card again so I send request to close the account It says it would be closed in about an year from now. Next month after they charged my card again. I give them call and request closing subscription again. I hope they will let me go. I'm not willing to work with this company anymore because the way they do business doesn't seem morally acceptable to me.
This is the worst platform for the new vendors. Iam paying Cad 335$ subscription fee every month and I haven't receieved a single lead in 4 months. And iam planning to close my subscription and move on with some other commitments but the lady name caryn who is suppose to fix this she is not even interested to fix she just need the money. The automated digital call is 100% use full than the custermer service. Never get the subscription here.

Been using Houzz as a first as a himeowner, and then as an Architect and small business owner for several years.
We, a Houston-metro firm (Ideo Architects) utilize this site to show our Residential projects (New and Renovations), to get informed on new trends in Architecture, etc.
It is also a fantastic resource for homeowners to get ideas and reach out to local professionals.

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
