The company's reputation is mixed, with notable strengths in product quality and delivery efficiency, as many customers express satisfaction with their purchases and the overall aesthetic appeal of items. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly in handling issues related to delivery options, billing disputes, and product defects. Customers frequently report difficulties in reaching support and receiving timely resolutions, leading to frustration. While some patrons appreciate the extensive product selection and smooth purchasing experience, the inconsistency in service responsiveness and problem resolution highlights areas for improvement in their customer service approach.

Our HOUZZPRO account has been down for over 1 week. When you call their support number, the recording asks you to hang up and go to their web site to log a support ticket. We have done this twice now! They say it will take from 48-72 hours for it to be reviewed. We submitted our first ticket on June 5th, 2023. We manage multiple construction projects but cannot create a change order, an estimate, send an invoice, etc. Not to mention we are paying over $700.00 per month for leads...which we are also not getting! This is terrible customer support from a company we entrusted to help us manage our projects and lead generation. Buyer beware
I was convinced by a sales rep that they could promote my business to particular areas that I paid extra to receive leads from. I never got a lead in ANY of the areas I paid for. I hardly got any leads at all. I paid $2500 for a year membership.
I was told that I would get a reminder before renewal, and that renewal would be month to month if I chose to move forward. I never got a reminder. I noticed the renewal in my bank account and called that same day. I let them know that I didn't want to renew, and also wanted a refund. They refused and over so here I am, to let it be known.
They are basically using a renewal contract to keep customers prisoner and steal their money. I run a business of course and couldn't IMAGINE operating in this way. I'm in awe that this company can be so disgusting. I haven't lost my $#*! in years but was dropping f bombs left and right with these people.
There are better companies out there, DO NOT USE HOUZZ!
Signed with Houzz for a year contract and after receiving ONE lead in that year, asked to cancel and was told it was too late but that they could cancel in 2024. Read the fine print. These guys are scammers.

In the same boat as other's with this company not holding up there side of the contract and im to small to do anything about it. It has been 8 months at $544 per month and my site is still not set up and no one tat the company will help. They just keep giving me a new " success manager" and they all say the same thing " this isn't right. I will fix your site immediately." But lo and behold nobody does anything and I lose contact with everybody.
Everything was amazing but I over ordered in an effort to be sure all items were here for the kitchen renovation and to make sure I had choices since it's hard to choose everything just right the first time. I'm working on returns now and am a little late for some which is frustrating (a little late since the kitchen took longer!) Great products!
Awful. We signed up for the service in January of 2022 and notified HouzzPro in February 2022 (in writing via email) that we were not happy with the service and did not want to continue service. At that time we were told that we still had to pay for the entirety of 2022. Though we disagreed, we accepted it as it was part of the terms of service. However, we were assured that we would not be renewed in December of 2022. On HouzzPro's side of things, the system was never updated and we were charged for services, that we did not agree to, in January and February of 2023. I reported the error and it was corrected in March of 2023 but Houzz has refused to issue us a refund for the charges that should never have happened. I've reached out to my contact at Houzz to get this resolved and I am now being ignored.

There is a reason why they make you bundle your marketing and project management software and ask you to sign a one year contract. That reason is that they want to take as much money from you as they can. They don't care about you or your business. Then, when you are finding the software to be sub-par and you haven't had a single lead from the "marketing" (6 months and counting) and you are paying $350.00 a month and want out, they can wave the contract and say, "you signed the contract." I had been using Houzz as a homeowner from the beginning and I trusted Houzz and thought the Pro program would pay for itself. Boy was I wrong! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, but again, the contract. So unless you love throwing away hundreds of dollars each month, I would recommend you steer clear of Houzz Pro. I want to warn my fellow interior designers with new, small business so that they do not get caught in the same trap that I walked into. Photos of my work so you can see I'm really a designer.
Just don't do it. It is not what they say it is. This company is full of criminals that blatantly lie to get you to agree to a year long contract. Once you find out you've been lied to, they won't let you out of the contract. Simply put, they are thieves. Not sure how there hasn't been a class action against them.
I bought a shower through Houzz. The shower supplier is a company called Eviva out of the USA. The coating on the shower has started to peel. Houzz confirm in email that the should is under warranty and they told me to deal direct with the manufacturer Eviva. I was talking with Eviva who then took a position that the peeling was damage i caused. I went back and forth and they eventually said they would replace it for $150US. I reluctantly accepted and then they told me the shower would be shipped to an address in the states. I told them i live in Canada. They have since written and told me that they will not be sending the shower to me and they retracted their offer.
WHERE IS HOUZZ IN ALL OF THIS?
I bought the shower from them yet they have washed their hands of the matter, despite telling me that the shower is in the warranty period still.
WHAT A DISGUSTING COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. I STRONGLY RECOMMED YOU TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN HOUZZ
Hi,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us and providing us with this feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with an item purchased from the Houzz Marketplace. As this was reported far outside of Houzz Policy, this would fall under the manufacturer's warranty. Houzz will be unable to facilitate any warranty specifics between the customer and manufacturer. Houzz offers purchased warranties as well, however, as this was not added at checkout, we are unable to assist. The details of Houzz Return Policy can be viewed at houzz.com/return-policy.

I received an email statting after 2 months that the backsplash was a gift and they would not be replacing it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT
Hi,
Thank you for providing us with your feedback. The listing description states "that the backsplash is only included with the vanity set as a free gift. This company (mason crew) true name (kingwood masonry pro) they use a free Google number to transfer it to the same cell phone number.
This gives the unsuspecting homeowners the illusion it's getting two competing bids from two different companies.Give two different estimates, The fake company uses its phone to transfer to the other company, each company has two different names and comes up with two different bids, Its sad that they can take advantage of older people by confusing them and making them think their getting competing estimates from different companies, but really it's all the same.

The Houzz and Apt.2B customer service went above and beyond, what the norm of most customer service people attempt to do.
The customer service people are super, in all ways!
Any of my questions or requests were very kindly and quickly responded to.
Thank you!
Y'all are the best!
I have not received the sofa, yet BUT if I have any problems, I know I will be treated fairly and quickly!
When I look at my experience ordering furniture with Wayfair vs ordering on Houzz, night and day difference. The customer experience with Houzz is awful. Shipping is slow. Tracking is terrible, I cant even get reasonable tracking information on my order. I decided to give Houzz a try, it was about $100 bucks cheaper on Houzz for nightstands that I ordered. NOPE save yourself the time, go back to Wayfair, Houzz is not worth the frustration. I got one email that said hey your order is on the way, nothing else. It took 4 days just for them to process the order, then it is saying up to 14 days to ship to my house. Wayfair I ordered a bed frame, multiple communications on the order, and I received it in 5 days from the moment I placed the order. Boo on you Houzz, poorly put together model vs any other place I order online.

I am a repeat customer! I have purchased furniture, lamps and mirrors. I
Everything was easy to navigate and the reviews were super helpful
This place decided to randomly put in an order for me for over $400 of items I never purchased. The return and cancellation process as well as working with customer service was out right infuriating and I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. AGAIN DO NOT PURCHASE OR GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR PERSONAL INFO

Shipped on time. Price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Houzz.
I feel a little spoiled with the service that I get. Steven always makes sure we are being successful! Thanks again!
We had high hopes for Houzz, but it's done nothing but take our money and refuse to cancel our account either online, via email, or via phone call. In terms of the service provided, we got one lead in 12 months for a 10+ county area.
We have been unhappy Houzz customers for over a year. We signed a year-long committment and couldn't wait for the year to end so we could be released from our contract. At the end of the year, we tried to cancel our account online, but there is no option to do so. You have to call. We called and were told we needed to contact our account manager (whom we have never spoken to). We left voicemail messages on three different days a little before our contract was up. We never received a return call.
We then blocked our credit card so it wouldn't be charged, and the account manager reached right out to us letting us know payment our credit card was declined and payment was due. Replies to that email went unreturned. After three weeks, we turned the credit card back on and Houzz immediately charged us $1504. We called the customer support line again and were told we needed to get an appointment with the account manager to cancel our account. The customer support agent said she'd pass our information along to our account manager. Still no call. Three days later, we received an email that the customer support ticket had been marked as solved, yet no one has returned our calls or emails. And we're still out $1504. What a pain!
We don't write negative reviews lightly, as we know how harmful a negative review can be to a business. However, other businesses and contractors should know the experience we've had and proceed with caution.
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
