The company's reputation is mixed, with notable strengths in product quality and delivery efficiency, as many customers express satisfaction with their purchases and the overall aesthetic appeal of items. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly in handling issues related to delivery options, billing disputes, and product defects. Customers frequently report difficulties in reaching support and receiving timely resolutions, leading to frustration. While some patrons appreciate the extensive product selection and smooth purchasing experience, the inconsistency in service responsiveness and problem resolution highlights areas for improvement in their customer service approach.

I already have two of these sconces... I am coming back for two more for my guest suite bathroom.
Great looking fixture for my new project!
Love the pulls on my cabinets! Just ordered more. Just wish the shipping box was more sturdier. I know it is out of your control once you ship out the order. But thank God they arrived with no damage. The box looked like it ripped open a few times, had lots of tape trying to hold it together. Love the product though 👌
So far so good, just placed the lights in our kitchen. The only thing is that we were missing a few nuts an bolts from one of the three lights packages. How can I get those original parts?
Thank you
Cecilia
I appreciated the help from customer service in using my discount.
The cabinets are the size we wanted and are constructed on all sides with louvered hardwood. They have no solid top. The parts for two cabinet-units are in two separate boxes with no explanation for that, causing worry.
The instructions are illustrations only, and following those were difficult because the pieces were very similar and were not labeled. We'd put together a number of pieces, and then have to take them apart again.
There are no shelves, so constructing shelves inside are challenging. We are satisfied with the product but would not go through the construction process again.
Bought a full dining set from them. Everything was okay, until one, then two, then three of the chairs started to come apart. The company REFUSED to do anything about it because it was a little over a year. The 10% coupon they offered on future purchases added insult to injury.
Probably moving this year and we know where we won't be getting our new furniture.
So far, so good. We'll see how durable the furniture turns out to be.
I purchased 3 shelves from this company to redecorate a room, the shelves were too big. I wanted to keep 1 and return 2 for different sizes (still in the box they came in!) I went on line, houzz wants to charge me $114 to return 2 items that I already paid $140 for. That is insane! So to return an item, they would end up with $254? That doesn't seem legal to me. I will not work with them again.
Hi,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your Houzz shopping experience. Unless your product arrives damaged/defective, is the incorrect item, or is missing parts, applicable shipping costs will be deducted from your return. It looks like you selected the option to use your own return label(s) for this Houzz standard return. Please note that Houzz is happy to provide an insured label at a lower rate. You can view the full details of the Houzz Return Policy at houzz.com/return-policy. If you need assistance, please visit us at help.houzz.com.

Lots of system glitches, very pedestrian software made only for designers who just purchase items online, not those who do custom specifications. The worst part of this subscription is that there is ZERO customer service. When the program glitches and prevents user access or if they update their platform and it knocks settings off kilter, they are of no help and are quite rude. This has potential but they need to amend many things on program and change how they service the customer.
Do not join this company, they are arrogant robber who think they can railroad over your legal rights. Never use or join Houzz.

This company tricks you into thinking they have a free trial and than stick you with a year membership at 100.00 a month and they refuse to let you out of it. I have used the free software for a total of 10 minutes and now they feel like they should send me to collections for non payment. I have requested that they remove me from the billing and delete my account multiple times as I have never played around with it for more than 10 minutes. They always say they will talk to the accounting department which goes nowhere. This is by far the worst experience I have had with any company. How do they justify the sneakiness and unwillingness to release people from something a person has not used. This is unethical and immoral behavior and I can't believe they feel okay with this. I guess I will now have to deal with a collections on my credit. Good job Houzz pro. Thanks for nothing. I'm getting a lawyer.
They kept charging us after we cancelled our membership so we called and to cancel it again and get our money refunded back to us that they charged us for the time after we had cancelled with them. They're customer service is horrible! The lady said she would have to refer the request to their cancellations department and they would call us as soon as they got it. I asked if I could just call the cancellations department myself and talk to them and she said that they we could not call them. So I said we could just wait for their call but it never came and we just got an email saying they wanted to set up a time to call us. We said they they could call us immediately and we told them the situation. The call came a week later and she said they had no record of my husband calling and cancelling, my husband insisted that he did and that they should not be charged after that and they fraudulently took that money from us. She said she could not cancel the membership and would have to talk to people in her department and get back to us. We'll she never did call us back. We also have disputed the charges with our bank and cancelled the card they were using to charge us. However our bank has come back and told us the company said those weren't fraudulent charges. We are going to have to fight this somehow because this company has stolen from us, lied and cheated us and we're not gonna just let them get away with this!
DO NOT get into business them. It is an auto renewal contract and the Terms and Conditions are hidden in a hyperlink. If you try to cancel, you WILL be sold on keeping the contract with some "deal". Unfortunately, their service provided virtually NO LEADS and their "website" and "CRM" are terrible and weak. This was for the cost of over $15,000. The website is a landing page and not a true website. We held up our end of the contract even after going in a different direction with a different website and CRM. We emailed on 8/31/23 to cancel the subscription which was to renew on 9/29/23 and was ignored. They say in their hidden Terms and Conditions that they require a 30 day notice, we were 2 DAYS LATE and were not informed of the 30 day subscription by our customer account managers. During our 2 1/2 years with HOUZZ we were assigned 3 different customer account managers so very challenging to keep track of who is helping you. The most recent account manager never reached out to us for support or to discuss the subscription renewal. They will NOT work with you and refuse to allow you to speak to any supervisors to resolve isssues.
I am a general contractor focusing on interior design and remodeling. I purchased Houzz Pro for a few key features. They were not as intuitive as advertised and some features struggled to function properly on my iPad. I also only generated a handful of leads in a years time, most of which were not viable leads anyway. I ended up deciding to cancel my subscription, ultimately deciding I did not need the program. They wouldn't let me cancel and said I had to keep paying them for another year, only claiming this is stated in the terms and conditions (which is buried in the contract by the way). I spoke with several different people and no one would help me. So I blocked the automatic payment on my credit card. They then sent me to collections and cancelled my account anyway! They ultimately stole $300 from my small business. Check out their BBB reviews and you'll see a lot of reviews like this one. The product is less than average, but their customer service is wretched. They clearly only care about themselves and not the best interests of their clients. I highly advise all to move on to another business for contracting software and other services Houzz claims to offer.
Attendant was prompt, helpful, and informative. He was willing to go the extra mile to address my concern
I made an attempt to look into Houzz services for a particular job. However, our company decided not to go forward with the services and canceled the services. Houzz does not respond to our many complaints and continues to keep our bank account in pending status. We Cannot Recommend This Service To Anyone Period!

HouzzPro offers nothing that will HELP your business to grow. It doesn't do anything special and is just a way to get your money. They offer a 30-day trial period. Immediately upon signing up, I realized is only does about 1/4 of what Quickbook does and costs over twice as much. So, I called and cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. And, of course they said they cancelled. But, charge my account 30 days later and keep charging every month. I have disputed each charge as it comes in. I have called Houzz and get someone who tells me they completely understand and see that I cancelled and they will take care of it with no more charges. And guess what? They charge again. So, do NOT under any circumstances go with HouzzPro.
WE SIGNED UP AND THE CONTRACT ONLY SAYS IN THE FINE PRINT THAT IT WILL RENEW ANNUALLY WITHOUT NOTICE. WE JUST TRIED TO CANCEL 6 DAYS AFTER THE NEW CONTRACT BEGAN AND WE ARE NOT ALLOWED. THE LEADS ARE SERIOUSLY BAD. WE KEPT PAYING IN HOPES THEY WOULD GET BETTER AND TO HAVE THE HOUZZ SERVICE BADGES. THIS IS TERRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM.
I've been signed up with these guys for over 6 months, the initial cost was $120 per month I am now being charged $249 per month not to mention I haven't received ANY leads and I asked to cancel my account for two weeks now and when you call they don't have anyone to speak with but my "concern" is being sent to the "subscription department". Their line says if you want to SPEAK to someone about your bill press 1 but it takes me to their technical support and I get the same answer that my "concern" is being sent to the subscription department. This company is a SCAM! I now have to call my bank and report the charges as fraud since they somehow don't have ANYONE you can speak with in regards to canceling a subscription.

1) We were promised by the account admin that the account would not be subject to automatic renewal even by signing the contract that clearly says it does! She said that it is a part of the form and will not go into effect. However, it was a lie and now the account admin is nowhere to be found! 2) The leads that was sent to us were mostly dead end, out of 84 leads in one year we only had of active lead and most of the 84 either did not answer the phone or did not reply back to messages and emails. We had a few leads stating that the personal information was correct but had no idea what we were talking about as they never needed any services done to their home. Houzz/ Houzz Pro is now telling us that if we do not pay the charges our account will be in collection. WARNING: Do not sign up with Houzz. No Star,

I ordered a set of bedroom wall lighting from Houzz. The wall light items listed on their website stated the units is dimmable. However, the I received the items they are not. I called Houzz for the return instruction, it was lengthy process, and Houzz don't cover the returned shipping cost. It ends up I have to pay $96 for returned items. Be aware do not order any merchandise from this company.

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This item has a one-year warranty. As this product was purchased in January of 2022, you are now outside of the warranty claim window. Our seller is therefore unable to offer a refund or a replacement.
In addition, there was an option at checkout to purchase a 5-year Mulberry Protection plan, which was never purchased. We encourage our customers to add a Mulberry Protection plan to their orders whenever they purchase, as most of our products only have a 30 day return window for defects. If a product becomes defective past this 30-day window, Houzz relies upon whatever warranty the manufacturer will offer. If a Mulberry Protection plan had been purchased, we could have further assisted with a replacement. You can read the full details of our Return Policy at houzz.com/return-policy.
We do apologize for the poor experience.
Sincerely,
The Houzz Team
