My order took 6weeks even though I paid for faster shipping. I contacted you immediately after receiving on July 22. I have not heard back from you. I am attaching a photo of the hair I purchased from you along side of the packs I purchased from 200 miles away from my house, traveling to Denver Colorado to purchase the correct color hair.
As you can see the hair I received by you, which is evidenced by your bar code which is visible.
The hair is not the color I ordered, not by your fault but by the company that packages the hair. Both packages say this is the same color 51. But they are extremely different. Yet I am the customer, why should I be the one left unsatisfied. They got their money, you got your money, but I, the one that paid for this useless order, am now stuck with a product that I can not use.
Not only did I receive the wrong product, but I usually get a discount because I purchased over 10 items. So if you look at my purchase history you can see that I have never paid as much as I have paid with my last order, my last useless order.
I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received from your company this time
I have been a loyal customer for years.
But I will not be ordering from you again.

Second time I have ordered. First time was great. Ordered on July 5th. My shipment was assigned a UPS number on the 13th but hasn't moved from factory. I have emailed and called several times but it seems no one wants to respond. I should of already received my package. It is the 26th.

When I first read the reviews for House of Beauty I was mortified. I place my order June 23rd for eight items that I could not get from other vendors at the price range that I had in mind. After four days of processing time has elapsed, I tried to get in touch with the customer service department to get an estimate on shipping of my products with no success. I left tons of voicemails and emailed them at least five times. Within couple of days after that I received a phone call from a customer service rep. Name David, he explained to me that sense March there is no active customer service department due to covid and social distancing and that most of the manufacturers were closed for at least a couple of months because of the pandemic.
He said that he needed five minutes to check the warehouse to figure out why the order is not moving. After he called back in the timely manner, he said that the order was packed and shipped, he apologized for the delay and said that after 5pm I will get a tracking number in a separate email, also provided a way to get in touch with him directly for any future assistance. I understand now that there's not enough staff to get back with every individual client, although I hope they can fix this in the future. David was great, respectful, kind and very knowledgeable. I hope they get more people like him to assist other clients so they can straiten out there poor reviews!
I ordered in March, some items not shipped, They said shipping soon, but I Never received It without any notices.
I waited patiently because it's unusual time we having now, But been too late so I emailed them and called them many times but they never answered me or email back.

Placed an order with a 20% coupon and upon closeout they removed the coupon and charged full price. 2 weeks of emails and calls later, not resolved. None of the 4 phone numbers were ever answered at any time of day (must have called over 20 times). Not a single email was ever answered. While I called within several times within 24 hours after ordering, I was unable to every cancel or alter my order. There must be someone at the company. Got the credit card company involved to cancel the order but finally decided to just suck it up and lose the $50.00. Will not buy from them again. You shouldn't either--they are a true risk for money loss.

First and last time I order from this so call company. I call several times and no one answers. I just sent my fourth email to them. Ordered on June 29th and got shipping confirmation on July 2nd. It's been almost three weeks and order keeps getting delayed because USPS is waiting for merchandise. Turns out only the shipping label was created but the actual merchandise hasn't been received by USPS. That is why people keep going to Amazon because of companies like this. They only respond on this website to save face and maybe get a chance to steal other people's money. Wonderful lesson learned though... check reviews before giving small companies a chance... way to go House of Beauty!... UPDATE, after this post I got my refund from House of Beauty. They said the items were out of stock. Wished they keep their customers informed instead of days/weeks passing by without any feedback.

Order at your own risk! I ordered a couple of times from this company. My last order/final order was 3box hair dye and a kiss nail kit... approx. 2wks later I received my order with only the dye and no kit... just a note stating the kit was out of stock and I would recieve a refund... wks pass no refund! Mine you it's only 11.95+ tax. I emailed... no response. I called all the numbers on Google... same recording... no one answered. I finally just left a message stating I wanted my refund. To my surprise they returned my call. The unnamed man asked me my name and zip code. I told him what happened. He asked me to email a copy of the letter they sent! W T F yes maybe I should have kept it but they shouldn't have taken my money for something that was out of stock and if they did they should be able to look in their system to see that I did not receive the item. This made me mad because it suggests I am being untruthful which I get it some are. After I said I was going to call my credit card company... he said he'd give me the refund and hung up on me. I will give them a couple of days to run me my money... if not I will report it to the credit card company. It's not about the money its just the way they do business. Maybe I should have used my white voice.

I want to say, right after I posted this the company reached out to me almost immediately. For that, I applaud them and thank them... but this still doesn't fix their issue of no one staffing the customer service desk. If no one is working customer service, who is keeping an eye on these complaints and replying to them within hours of being posted?
They called me to ask what I would like to do, a refund or to get my order. I chose a refund and pointed out that this was pretty crazy for an online company to have this much trouble with customer service.
If you are going to break up the shipment, communicate that. If there isn't enough stock, communicate that. If you made a mistake and only shipped one item out of a 6 item order, communicate with the customer.
They stood by their statement that they have hardly no one to work customer service and that the warehouse made a mistake.
"Hey, I totally understand. Stuff happens. But when I write you a polite email, call you, fill out your form, and still can't reach someone, that's a problem."
They advised that the refund will be delayed because of the high volume of them going on right now... Again, I said no worries on the time frame. I was just happy to have someone doing something about it.
I am still not sure if I will use them in the future. Perhaps when this pandemic stuff calms down I will give them another chance...
I will reiterate though:
In a pandemic, where people are NEEDING jobs that can be done from home, I feel like you have little to no excuse to not have several people available to answer emails/forms/calls. This is a time where there should be a surplus of customer service for your company.:(
I hope the staffing woes are fixed soon. I would like to purchase from this company in the future.
Initially, they sent an email with confirmation of my order stating that delivery may be delayed due to the National pandemic, understandable. I placed my order on May 3rd. On May 20th the tracking was updated stating that the order was ready for shipment. I received one item out of a 6 item order. I thought perhaps it would come in multiple shipments, so I patiently waited. On June 3rd I sent an email asking for an update on if my order was split into two shipments or what was going on with it. I got no response so I looked through their website for their support form. On June 8th I sent them a request to asking for an update on my order, if it was delayed, if we were waiting for more supplies, still no response. I got a survey to review my experience with them on the 12th, I filled it out and said that I was very displeased with what was going on. It took me to another form to fill out to get them to respond to me, it was the same one that I had filled out a few days before. I filled it out and told them that this has been going on for over a month and I wanted an answer as to where the rest of my $60 order was and to please contact me as soon as possible. Their phone number rings directly to a message machine that does not record customer responses, it's just a open-ended message stating that their office is closed. I feel very frustrated that my emails have fallen on deaf ears, it's like they took my money and only gave me part of my order and now they don't want to talk to me.
At the beginning of the pandemic, it was April 9th, I ordered beauty products at this company, which I didn't know, but they had what I wanted. The credit card was processed immediately.
I received several confirmation emails apologizing for the lateness, the last was on April 17th.
Since then I have not heard of them, they have not answered several emails or phone calls. I only want to cancel that order W-*******
I do not believe this is a fake company, I do believe they have a lousy customer service. Please dear House of Beauty, no hard feelings, just give me back my money

I ordered a particular product in May and I never received it. Status says in process and I have made at least three attempts at contacting customer service. I think that they only responded to one of my emails and nothing was done about this situation. I have asked them to cancel my order and refund me several times already but they do not cooperate with me on this. Several months of waiting is outrageous and completely uncalled for. I will never do business with them again and I would never recommend them to anyone. Still waiting to see if my order will be canceled and refunded!

First order was for three 3oz Blue Lizard sunscreen lotions. Only two arrived but I was charged for three. Order # *******.
Second order was place a day later and that order was also short shipped by one item. Order # *******.
In short they ripped me off for 80+ dollars. Furthermore I send 4 emails and I have received no reply from them. Call the *******957 number and they saying to call back during their working hours which I did.
Do not spend your money here as there is a good chance you will be ripped off just like I was.

Take your money elsewhere
I placed an order back in May. I immediately received an email saying that they received my order, then three days later I received another email saying that they received my order. A week later I received an email saying that they were behind on their processing of orders. I've emailed the company several times with no response, If you check their Facebook multiple people are furious for placing orders and not getting any response or product.
I asked multiple times for them to refund my order if they weren't going to ship it only to be told by the person on Facebook that someone would contact me shortly, I gave it another 2 weeks and finally just disputed the charge with my bank. I will never do business with this company again

I placed an order and paid for it on May 24,2020. On June 10th, I received an email saying that the USPS label had been printed, but not delivered to the the USPS establishment for shipping, The status said "Pre-shipment".
SIX WEEKS and EMAILS INQUIRING as to what was going on with my order... and I have heard NOTHING from them. I understand things can sometimes take longer and sometimes unforeseen problems arise, but the lack of communication, or NO communication is beyond anything I have every experienced from any even remotely reputable company.
I would like the products I ordered and if they are unable to fulfill the order, I expect an immediate refund. Don't just take my money and then ignore me!

Let me preface this review by saying that I understand that businesses are incapable of functioning as normal, due to Covid-19. I fully expect and understand that online orders will take longer than normal, and that staffing is probably cut in half, if not more so.
That being said...
I placed an online order on April 30th, and received it on June 17th. So essentially a month and a half to revive my order.
Fine. The part that I'm furious about is the fact that a portion of my order was missing, despite the fact that I was charged, fully. I have been emailing House if Beauty since that day, June 17th, to let them know about the missing items, and asked that I either be refunded or can they please send me what is missing. I have received no response, to date. I have since emailed them two more times, to which, again, I have received zero response. Yet, I receive promotional emails from them on almost a daily basis, telling me that I need to take advantage of all of their great sales. Are you kidding me?!? House of Beauty owes me $22.90 and at this point, I'm not confident that I will ever see my money refunded or the missing products. Avoid, avoid, AVOID! If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Answer: Nope! Try Amazon instead. HOB is not fulfilling shipments at all. Numerous customers never receive their orders or only receive a portion of their order with no refund
