I ordered a product from this company 5 weeks ago, have not received it thus far.
I have made a number of attempts to contact the company via emails and phone to no avail.
My thoughts are I'm getting ripped off or they have a big problem with customer service.
My message to all is to stay far away from House of beauty, as I'am pretty sure I was taking for my money. I will continue this review if anything changes. 10/24/22
I used House of Beauty for over a year. Have had no problems. This last order I placed, never arrived. There is virtually no way to get this company to answer you, whether it be by texting thru their website or just a plain email. No response after many tries. The phone number just rings until it finally goes into a recording telling you the mailbox is full. I had finally had to call my credit card company to get my money back. Beware, you will regret buying from this company.
I didn't receive all my order and they said it would ship out in 7-10 days. I tried calling and emailing them and still haven't heard anything regarding my order. Let me add that the phone numbers listed don't work! I will never order from this company again!

It's been A MONTH, and I haven't received my entire order.
I've received 3 items and one of them was open and janky!
It looked like their products came from the expiring soon, sale bin at Marshalls.
They don't send product that says "in stock",
And they won't give you a refund either. Go to Cosmetic World! I got all of my products brand new, in a few days time.
I placed an order with House Of Beauty and never received the product. I called several times and they will not issue a refund. They now have blocked my phone number since I keep calling them about a refund. I plan on contacting the PA Attorney Generals Office and report them for fraudulent activities. Very bad business ethics, I would not do business with them.
Contacted multiple times on damaged goods, playing ring around the rosie, not giving any solution & blaming the carrier vs poor packaging. Waste of money and now I have an item I cant use, no resolution on the damage & no offer of credit or returning of the product. Worst business to deal with. They have no voice mail and no one answers the phone. Tried 6 times to contact through email & do not care it came damaged. I'd give a zero if I could. It wobbles back and forth and plastic busted on the side. Low quality product.
I ordered 3 Sebastian cellophanes about a year ago. After many weeks, I received only 2. Never got the 3rd one as promised. I called and sent emails, never got an answer since. They might run out of business!

I placed an order July 6, my account was debited and nothing has been shipped to me. I keep inquiring about this, and no one gets back to me. They say they'll "look into it" and then nothing happens. I want a refund, but its impossible to get anyone to respond. Not sure how they scammed their way into getting 5 star reviews, but this is definitely a sham of a "company."
I ordered a Mugler Angel gift set and the perfume is bad. Please see the pictures so you can see the difference and how bad the product is. It stinks too. The perfume is brownish gray instead of clear blue.
I'm not sure if their product is fake or just past expiration but my perfume is off and the woman on the phone doesn't seem to help. She won't discuss the problem and just keeps hanging up. I also sent an email with photos.
I am a barber that wants to cut hair abroad. I don't have access to some of the proper equipment so I thought I'd try HOB as they ship internationally.
Ordered and realized I needed to add more products. Sent an email right away ( 12 hours later) they replied 2 WEEKS LATER! My order shipped and it was too late by that time.
Contact by email and phone is garbage, no one answers and the answering machine is full.
2 weeks is way too long to let your customers stew in problems, especially when they are time-sensitive!
Shipping & tracking issues as well. It says it shipped yet after 3 weeks it's showing no progress or proof that it's in transit. I emailed them about that and they don't have answer and are looking into it.
Unprofessional, disorganized and difficult to contact anyone by email or phone.
You've lost a customer for good, I'll be going elsewhere for my barber supplies.
At this point I'd like a refund if it hasn't been shipped yet.

I am requesting a full refund fir 2 of the items shipped arrived damaged due to the lids on the mega growth leave in treatment and the virgin hair conditioner were not properly taped nor tightened causing lids spilled in the entire box. My order number is *******. Photos has already been sent 3 weeks ago along with help request emails and received NO responses back. Please refund my money back immediately!
Never received order. List in mail. But company won't supply mail insurance fee so I can get a refund on lost Dudley shampoo 32 oz
Do not do buy products from this HOB because they don't do business with you. They only take your money and don't make good on providing the product. I will contact the attorney General office in Philadelphia for their fraudulent practices.
Great selection, great prices so far no problem receiving exactly what I ordered. Have used House of Beauty for the pass three years. Order approximately twice a year. Only complaint is that many times they are out of stock in the color I like #4. I am so glad I found a reputable company to order from without having to go all the way to China where they send you whatever they want and charge you $30 to return it. Never had to deal with House of Beauty's live customer service.
Do not trust these scammers! They will take your money and never send you your order. I placed an order over a month ago for my home salon, and they never send my items. They refuse to pick up their phones or flat out hang up on you. Im so pissed that I dont care how much it cost, im filing a civil suit against this company for fraud. Ya'll messed with the wrong one. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS!
This company is a complete joke. They charged my credit card and sent me a tracking number. 3 weeks went by and tracking says it's still waiting for pick up. I called and left 3 messages as well as 2 emails and no one ever contacted me. All of the sudden almost a month after my card was charged I got a second tracking number. This place is a joke finally got through to customer service and got an incredibly rude man who just hung up on me. Have filed dispute with credit card company. Do not recommend using them! If there was a zero rating that is exactly what they would have been rated.
Please don't order from this company! They are very unprofessional, there's no customer service and their website promotes lies. I ordered products on 7/02/20. Two days later I received an email stating my order was packed and shipped! Lies! The USPS is still waiting on my package to arrive to their facility. I toss this up as a loss and a lesson learned. I'm out of $48 but it's ok. I believe in karma! Please please don't order from this company! They don't even give you the respect or common courtesy to return your email or answer the phone.

September 1 ordered a comb and 10 creams for $41.33. Only received the comb worth 95 cents and order was marked shipped and completed. The creams each were 1.41 ounces so 10 would be 14.1 ounces. The envelope with the comb has a shipping label for only 3 ounces so the items were not shipped in that envelope. I have been asked twice to send photos of the item I received and have done so. Apart from that there is no response to more than 10 attempts to contact by email, phone and on social media by today October 13. Seems like a typical scam where sellers take money with no intention to ship items or refund in good faith if items are not available.

I've reached out multiple times via email and left messages on their customer service number. No one has returned my call or replied to my emails other than the auto reply. My order was returned to sender and was placed on 12/17/21. It was for $99.80 I would either like the products or to be refunded.
At first this site seemed legit and trustworthy, I ordered from them more than once everything went fine. But when I had an item to return for a refund, and jumped through all the ridiculous hoops required in there return policy, they didn't honor there end an refund my money. They kept my item and never sent my refund. Finally I got a call from a man saying it would take about 7 weeks for my refund to come through, its been months since then, still no refund or reply to my emails. (DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE).
I ordered items from this company. Most of the items were delivered except for three items in which they told me by note that the missing items will be shipped later. It also stated that it has to come from another warehouse. It has been since early May when I first received the initial items. It is now late June and I have not heard from or seen any missed items from this company. They will not contact you at all. When you call them, it either hangs up or automatic voice telling you they are closed and it's business hours. What a joke of a business. Order#*******
Answer: Nope! Try Amazon instead. HOB is not fulfilling shipments at all. Numerous customers never receive their orders or only receive a portion of their order with no refund
