House of Beauty is a haven of all things beauty and wellbeing in Barnsley. I had my nails done by the apprentice Ameleigha and the results are amazing. I have psoriasis which affects my nails, so I am self conscious about them. But the results are fantastic and I am going to get booked in for my next treatment very soon. I highly recommend going there. The staff are wonderful.
I received an expired product! In your opinion this is normal! I will apply this to my face! It's good that I looked, what if I'm allergic!

It's been A MONTH, and I haven't received my entire order.
I've received 3 items and one of them was open and janky!
It looked like their products came from the expiring soon, sale bin at Marshalls.
They don't send product that says "in stock",
And they won't give you a refund either. Go to Cosmetic World! I got all of my products brand new, in a few days time.

I used House of Beauty for over a year. Have had no problems. This last order I placed, never arrived. There is virtually no way to get this company to answer you, whether it be by texting thru their website or just a plain email. No response after many tries. The phone number just rings until it finally goes into a recording telling you the mailbox is full. I had finally had to call my credit card company to get my money back. Beware, you will regret buying from this company.
Do not trust these scammers! They will take your money and never send you your order. I placed an order over a month ago for my home salon, and they never send my items. They refuse to pick up their phones or flat out hang up on you. Im so pissed that I dont care how much it cost, im filing a civil suit against this company for fraud. Ya'll messed with the wrong one. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS!

I ordered 3 mascaras and a shipping label was created soon, however the order never left their facility until an entire month later. 4 emails to them about why it hadn't shipped went unanswered. Finally, after 5 weeks, I received my order only to find ONE mascara and a note saying they were waiting on a shipment from another warehouse and owed me 2 mascaras. Another email sent about canceling the order went unanswered as well. I will never buy from them again. I am disgusted.

I ordered a Mugler Angel gift set and the perfume is bad. Please see the pictures so you can see the difference and how bad the product is. It stinks too. The perfume is brownish gray instead of clear blue.
I'm not sure if their product is fake or just past expiration but my perfume is off and the woman on the phone doesn't seem to help. She won't discuss the problem and just keeps hanging up. I also sent an email with photos.

Buyer beware. Items are either fake or expired. Pay full price at a department store. Saving 20.00 isn’t worth this hassle. Keep in mind I’ve spent time on this review too.

Ordered a jar of Vitapointe hair cream. Chose 3-7 day standard shipping, but after paying with paypal and placing order, it listed 3 day delivery for $15. Emailed immediately for change, but no response. Emailed 6 times, reply finally got was rude and refused to help. THIS SELLER charges a 30% restocking fee, so not worth returning my $24 jar of hair cream. What a RIPOFF. And check out their attitude on website if you try to dispute via PayPal. SCUM.
At first this site seemed legit and trustworthy, I ordered from them more than once everything went fine. But when I had an item to return for a refund, and jumped through all the ridiculous hoops required in there return policy, they didn't honor there end an refund my money. They kept my item and never sent my refund. Finally I got a call from a man saying it would take about 7 weeks for my refund to come through, its been months since then, still no refund or reply to my emails. (DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE).
I am requesting a full refund fir 2 of the items shipped arrived damaged due to the lids on the mega growth leave in treatment and the virgin hair conditioner were not properly taped nor tightened causing lids spilled in the entire box. I reordered a wig from House of Beauty World in January of 2020. The texture was not the same as the previous one, so I returned it for an in house credit. I've reached out to them via phone, email and Facebook to no resolution. Each time I was told to be patient, someone would get back with me. I am STILL WAITING.
I even ordered another wig and contacted them about my in house credit. Instead of a credit, they billed my credit card. At this point, I want a REFUND.
I will also be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Buy at your own risk. Customer service is pretty much non existent. Offers in house credit on returns but you can't reach them to use it. That makes it TOTALLY WORTHLESS.

I placed my order on 18th May (over 5 weeks ago!) and have received confirmation that my order has been shipped, however when I view the tracking number it indicates that 'status is not available'. I have paid $80 USD and unsure I will even see my products! Order number HOB-*******. Just want a refund now. Instead of answering to all of the bad reviews - how about taking the time to reply to those that have sent emails asking about their order! I placed an order with house of beauty back in April. Although the payment was processed right away, my order took 4weeks to get to me. 4 weeks! During that time I sent multiple emails to cancel the order, not to ship. To these emails I got NO replies. I feel they completely ignored my concerns and did NOTHING in terms of trying to respond or communicate with me.

Updating this to 3 stars because I received the product (over a month late). After I wrote this review someone reached out... when I wrote back they never responded. All in all, awesome product, not so awesome customer service.
I placed my order about 3 weeks ago, I was so so excited to receive it. Last week I reached out for an update on my order and they said they would look into it. Yesterday I followed up and I have not received any response and I had to reach out again today... I asked to just cancel my order. Pretty disappointed since I heard such great things about the products and I was looking forward to trying them.
I have six phone numbers that I have called with House of beauty. None of them have answered I either get no one is available the mailbox is full sorry we cannot connect or simply just hanging up. I've also emailed and have gotten nowhere with that the emails that house of beauty sends me is the same email over and over saying that they have attached the return information but nothing is attached. I would not buy from House of beauty, if you do not like something you will not be able to return it!
I ordered 3 Sebastian cellophanes about a year ago. After many weeks, I received only 2. Never got the 3rd one as promised. I called and sent emails, never got an answer since. They might run out of business!
