I called three times, each time pressing a different option and they would refer me to the first, to book a reservation. The agent I spoke to was very polite and helpful and didn't have the correct information.
I called to get the rates of a neighborhood hotel and was sad to see it was unavailable. Then Washington went above and beyond and searched for somewhere much nicer, but the rates were high. When I expressed my inability to pay and my budget he was able to get something that not only fit in my budget but had unexpected rewards. Im. Locking in this phone number and service. #gamechanger in hotel concierge service.

I do not like the pushy attitude of getting the booking. I thought I was canning the hotel direct and I had previously checked their rates on-line. My first question was off this hotel was pet friendly and she had to ask; then coming back on the phone with "yes for "$10. I said OK and then asked to book a handicap room. She quoted about $170 so I questioned her. She stood firm on the rate and since we were in Reno for an emergency surgery and already stressed we accepted it. Once at the hotel, I found that they are not pet friendly, however let me in with another $20. This means I was "duped" by Expedia for $100. I am exceedingly unhappy and and will drop Expedia. I only found out my call was to Expedia from the hotel.
I called to speak to a member of the hotel to try and book a reservation for dinner and was hung up on by the reservation clerk who answered the phone. Very rude

Was lied to, said the hotel I wanted to stay at was booked but it wasn't. Also over charged and I couldn't get my military discount. The bathroom had blood splatter on wall and mildew in shower. Won't ever use booking again.

I'm very satisfied with Angelica's performance and ability to answering questions patiently.
Asked for federal perdiam rates. Was told I'd be charged that. Then I get a charge for $30 over federal rate. Call back, they don't honor federal rate. Basically a con artist. Canceled and was told I'd get a refund on my card, then get a notice that I'd get a "voucher" of some kind for 1/2 the hotel rate. Now I have to file a claim with my federal cc and deal with all of that mess. What a horrible experience.
Very skeptical with credit card usage over phone and if service provider was actually affiliated with my hotel of interest.

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
