Called for a Marriott reservation for the French Quarter Fest. The hotel was full. Jason was able to find us very reasonable alternative and took care of all the details.
Talked with the gentleman from reservations & he was really helpful with informing my about the details of rooms available. Asked about the date we needed,how many were staying & how many beds we needed & what size. There's parking for our oversized rig so that'll be helpful as well.

Buyer beware and book directly with hotel! Cannot get a refund for illness without a doctor's note. I said due to HIPPA, not required to disclose. They said HIPPA doesn't apply. If traveling to location in the winter and there is heavy snow and ice falling--that doesn't count either. Must have proof of road closings. :( If there is a death of an immediate family member, with proof of a death certificate and proof that you loved them (at the time of death), I believe you can get your money back, but short of that...good luck! Book direct with the hotel next time. Absolutely zero to be gained booking through this SCAM!

Upon arrival at our destination, we were advised that the payment from your company to the hotel declined. We were stranded in the lobby for almost an hour waiting for a resolution from your end. I called 3 separate times & even requested to speak to management. I was told that management cannot take incoming calls? That's a very unprofessional way to do business in the SERVICE INDUSTRY. It's just unacceptable. I was humiliated! You took the money out of my account & yet I had to experience being told that the payment didn't go through.
We picked dinner up before going to the hotel & it was cold from sitting in the car waiting for a resolution. I just can't imagine how this could rectified. I will never use your service again, & I will make sure to encourage anyone I know to NEVER attempt booking with you.
Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
