Just don't. They have the most confusing app... I mapped to a hotel using the address from a hotel in my search results for PEARLAND. I price froze and paid the deposit. I drove to the hotel using that address and realized I needed to complete the booking, and did so from the hotel I thought I was booking at in PEARLAND. And somehow I ended up with a reservation at that hotel chain... but an hour away... in CLEVELAND. With my 8 and 11 year old. In the pouring rain. Customer service took FOREVER, and I had to go ahead and book somewhere else through priceline by the time customer service got back to me. They were very nice when they said the Cleveland hotel wouldn't refund my money. Lesson learned. Never trust the new guys. Hopper is a big fail.

So I paid to freeze my price Andy remaining balance was 400 so when I go to pay my remaining balance the then added a extra 35 dollars so I tried to contact customer support and I got nowhere like what type of business is this where you can't even speak with a live agent this will be my last time ever booking through them again I feel like I been scam out my little 35 lol but so serious I hope that they would do better with there system

The app charged VIP support fee of $42 and hopper tip of $5 without my permission on an airline reservation (hopper reservation # RILJWU. There is no way in the app to contact someone to refund the unauthorized charges.

Just wanted to book a hotel room for me and my fiancé for New years. While just looking at and checking rooms I clicked on a prompt that I assumed was going to take me to booking but instead brought me back sround to the rooms. When I searched through the app and my emails I found a confirmation, not for a room, but for a 'price freeze'. I dont know what this means or why this would be an option when I wanted the room then and there. I reached out for help was simply told 'Sorry you didnt see our fine print, thats nonrefundable'. This app is a cashgrab. Do not recomend.

My husband surprised me in January with a flight to visit my best friend for a week and help with her kids while her husband recovered from a pretty debilitating surgery. 2 days before I was scheduled to go, her family tested positive for Covid, postponing the surgery and prompting me to need to cancel my trip. Even with having purchased the additional insurance at the time of booking, I am still unable to get a refund (almost $400). They said I have flight credits but I am unable to use them before they expire. The only thing their customer service has been able to do is apologize but not actually assist. I'm expected to just eat the cost of the flight. The insurance was purchased under the pretense that we'd be able to cancel if circumstances occurred that would require us to.
I will not use Hopper again nor would I recommend them to anybody.

Saturday the 24th we booked a room and when we got to the hotel they didn't have the room available. We emailed the Hopper and the automatic response email and have heard nothing back since. Booked a room for Sunday the 25th and again the room that was advertised on the site was once again not available. The hotel we booked it at issued a refund that Hopper has yet to release. Same thing happened with the third hotel we booked. DO NOT USE THIS SITE its all false advertisement and there's no response from their customer service teams. Every time we were not able to get the room we paid for we had to sleep in our car. It's RIDICULOUS! NEVER USING THIS SITE AGAIN!

I scheduled a round trip on Hopper which was problematic for the airlines. Spirit airlines cancelled and returned funds on the first leg of my departure flight. My second leg, return flight that Hopper scheduled, was with a different airlines. That flight didn't get canceled. So since I wasn't departing, I had no place to return to. I needed a refund. I tried to contact a company rep by phone. That kinda contact doesn't exist, it's only chat. I sat down and wrote a letter. 3 months later, no response. With Hopper you're taking a chance.

I tried the airlines, they wanted too much for a quick hour ride over to Vegas. Hopper was a fraction of that cost
My name is Tom and I had a wonderful trip planned and used Hopper for the flight and car. My airline changed my flight, and Hopper continued to give me the original date of departure, which was wrong. Because of this, I missed my flight, and had to spend 2,000 to reschedule everything. They refused to help! Even my flight home was now cancelled so i had to buy all these flights, then my car was also gone and i had to pay for that! I arrived exhausted, tired, and broke. My vacation was absolutely destroyed financially and all I did was stress the whole time. The attached pic is just a hint of my $2000 nightmare! I even had to pay them just to ask for help!

This is my first time having an issue with hopper, but it's been a doozy. I bought missed connection insurance for my flight. I missed my connection because my first flight was delayed. The only option to ask for help is through the chat option in the app, even the phone number only has a recorded message telling you to use the chat option. I'm stranded in Buffalo New York with no help in sight. Also because I didn't pay 33 dollars when I first bought the ticket for VIP, I'm apparently at the bottom of their list of helping people. The response time is abysmal.

I never dealt with this hopper company and I got a charge on my credit card. I contacted them to have a refund as I never order anything from there. Multiple times I tried to speak to someone and they never accepted to reimburse me. This is fraud. I have never participate in that transaction, no one else have access to my credit card. They are hackers..

They have a very confusing booking app with things popping up everywhere to confuse you while trying to make a simple booking. If you price freeze then don't make the booking properly by following their ridiculous instructions then they keep your money & refuse to refund it or apply it to your booking for you. Avoid this company! Customer support pretends to care that you are out of pocket when they scam you but refuse to do anything to rectify your issue.

I thought hopper would be cheaper to book a hotel. Seemed cheaper when I booked it. But got charged on extra fees I had no idea about, that takes place when you book a hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND HOPPER

Do not trust hopper? We booked a flight through then and the airlines refunded the trip to hopper and they said the flight was used which is was NOT! It's been 4 months and no refund. Not happy

This is about one of the worst sites ever for booking any flights or hotels I reserved a room and went to the hotel and unfortunately there was a deposit which the hotel uses at their own discretion chose not to give me my room not to refund my money and not to give me the option to change to another hotel Hopper has no one you can really talk to you they have to email you in order to get a response from customer service from Hopper which can take 2 days by then I'm sleeping in my car and still have no no cash refund I wouldn't book from this place if this was the last place there was left

They have the most horrible customer service team out there. Not helpful, snarky and rude. Make sure you check off the 42$ + 5tip that is selected without you clicking on it. I thought I would get some kind of special service or easier communication. But no they will make you wait 15,20 or 30mins with no helpful answers. I use to be a fan for the prices but now I would rather pay the higher fare charges for my sanity and respect.

Booked a flight from hawaii to ottawa. On their site it was stated that the flight was in economy and that carry ons were included in the price. When I looked up my flight on united airlines, it says that it was basic economy and that carry ons were not included. With basic economy you can't change your flight or even change your seats. Reached out to them and they told me that the only thing they will do is give me a 60$ us credit on the app to make up for the fact that we have to pay 30 dollars each for our carry ons. Later on I tried to change one of my flight in between islands and they told me it will cost me money. I told them that I will just use the credit they gave me and turns out I could only use my 60$ for NEW bookings. I will not be using hopper again.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
