Scam

This app is confusing on purpose. There are pop ups all over the place making it easy to accidentally tap on something and lose your place. This is the second time I tried using the price freeze and both times I've been screwed. This time I thought I was participating in a team to lock in a price. When I thought I joined another price freeze popped up and I thought that's what I had to select. My card was immediately charged the deposit. I lost where I was and I booked the same hotel for the same dates and it ended up being booked separately from my price freeze. So now my deposit is forfeited since I didn't go back and book under my "price freezes". On top of that you still get pop ups all over the place for upgrades just trying to navigate to my information. Customer services doesn't exist, there's no phone numbers and emails are responded by bots. The only information I have is that my deposit is forfeited basically no matter what unless I book the same hotel room through my price freeze all over again. But my previous reservation is non refundable so I'm f'd either way. F this bunny. Never again.

Unhappy customer here

This app is good for monitoring prices but that's it. Their customer service is horrible. I have been waiting for almost a week for some sort of solution to my issue. I rent a vehicle through the app that I was never able to get because the provider did not have any vehicles when I arrived and they did not accept my chime credit card as a valid form of payment. Kicker was I had already paid. I immediately request a refund of my money since I can't get a vehicle and I have yet to hear from anyone. I would not recommend using this app at all.

No time to support but lots of time to do PR

I tried to contact them because they duplicated a price freeze and it's been 2 days with no response. It's my money in their hands.However they do have time to hire employees just to look into disputes (imagine the volume they're having) because of course it's a deceptive app that charges you twice for one item and probably need professional chargeback specialist.
I can't wait to read the copy paste message I got on Twitter and IG… "hi we're sorry to hear that blabla" save it and just give me my refund

Fake booking
March 18, 2023

I book a hotel with Hopper for a weekend stay for my vacation. Only to get miles away from home and find out Hopper has not affliction with the hotel I was booked at. I paid the full stay plus a deposit with Hopper just to get there and the hotel tells me they're suing Hopper for making false bookings at their hotel. Now I'm stuck out here with no where to go and NO WAY TO CONTACT HOPPER! DO NOT USE HOPPER

Loooove Hopper!

I was able to save $90 on hotel cost and around $70-100+ on airfare. The app notifies me to book flights before price rise and jump on deals. I collect daily carrot cash that I apply to my purchases which I really like!
I've never had to ask for a refund, so I can't comment on that aspect.

Non Existent Customer Service

I booked a flight through hopper. The airline completely changed the flight making the schedule impossible for me. I spoke with the airline and they were willing to give me a refund, but because I booked through Hopper they needed it to be done through Hopper. There's no way to contact Hopper customer service by phone, only through text. At first they replied, saying they were looking into it and we'd hear back from them, but we never did.I submitted another request to Hopper to no reply. Worst $#*!ing service imaginable. These guys are a $#*!ing scam. DO NOT book your flight through Hopper

False advertisement

Just booked a flight on hopper and the price was €151 but I was charged €282 plus fees, which summed up to a total of €308. False advertisement and hidden extra fees. Best option is to book through the airline website as the indicated price on hopper is NOT what you will truly pay. Never buying on this app ever again…

This was my first time using the Hopper app I know others who have used this so I decided to try it out in a rush to purchase round trip plane tickets for me and my husband. After going through all the steps & confirming seat choices I got to the final step to add card info completed that I clicked booked it took a few minutes loading with the bunny logo then it errors out stating there was an issue processing your request please try again later. I ended up on the help center page seeing info about if the flights weren't available at time of booking that can cause an error. But I went to check my bank account the money was still withdrawn! $500 came out but no flight confirmation no email nothing there customer support is a joke they want u to pay $30 to speak with a live rep. I saw on the help page within 6 hours they void the charge so I waited around midnight I saw the money was back in my account. I re-checked my account almost an hour later after booking flights elsewhere on an actual airline site & I see my account was debited again for the same charge! HOPPER IS A SCAM HOW DO THEY RE-DEBIT MY ACCOUNT WHEN I DID NOT BOOK ANYTHING?! THE FLIGHTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE SO NOTHING SHOULD HAVE CAME OFF THE CARD I GO INTO MY ACCOUNT I LITERALLY HAVE NOTHING BOOKED I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP OR THIS WILL BE A REAL ISSUE. I've already tried reaching customer support no response so now I'm pissed. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIM DONT GO THROUGH THIRD PARTY SITES LIKE HOPPER WHEN PLANNING A VACATION USE REPUTABLE COMPANIES WHO ACTUALLY HAVE LIVE REPS & REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR YOU TO TALK TO RIGHT AWAY.

Price paid was not what was quoted

Received a confirmation for a car rental for one amount. The car company in turn charged me substantially more. It is impossible to reach anyone from Hopper to take care of this. Working on a dispute with the credit card company. This is not the first time I've had issues.

I booked my reservation with hopper arrive a hotel to checkin and the hotel clerk states that they do do not partner with hopper so there will be no way for them to get the payment. Had to book another reservation in order to stay. Contacted hopper no phone number paid extra for immediate service and still received the same response. Still no refund for the money that was taken. Very dissatisfied

Scam with bad customer service

Deceitful business practices! I purchased flight tickets. Prior to finalizing my purchase, the price breakdown was $1357.38 (with a note on the bottom that this will be charged in CAD -Canadian dollars). After purchasing, I received an email receipt for over $1800 (with a note on the bottom that this will be charged in CAD). I went back into the app and found a price breakdown that was identical to the initial one with one key detail changed - the note now said that it will be charged in USD -American dollars. Screenshots are attached.

Moreover, their customer service is abysmal. Cannot contact a person unless you pay $42 USD for VIP customer service).

Booked a 2bdr suite with 3 beds for two nights (family of 5). Hopper cost $768. Hotel confirmation shows a room with two queen beds to sleep 4. Direct cost of this lower grade room is $169 less that what hopper charge me. Now they same they have an error of their app and that the room I wanted was advertised in error. Current offer is a $76 voucher and they won't cancel and refund. No phone number to call and I have to please email tag every few hours. Rip off. Less than 24 hours until check in and no resolution. Company can't deliver on advertised and paid for service but doesn't have to refund or be accountable.

I will be very careful of Hopper. As a matter fact, I will be deleting my app and never using them again. I made the mistake of getting scammed into their price freeze thinking that I was able to secure a flight to Greece. I tried going into the app before the freeze Timeline was over and was only able to find that the tickets that I was promised for $881 were not available and there was not enough seats. I was charged $112 to freeze the price however I spent about an hour and a half trying to use the site but there's no customer service whatsoever and it is absolutely a scam. Do not use the site. I would recommend Expedia, Booking.com or kayak you'll be better off don't waste your time with the site. Such a shame I used to love hopper!

As a sidenote, I have used them in the past, so I'm very familiar with their website. We've taken at least three or four trips using the site, but it is gone completely downhill don't bother! It's a bait and switch!

What a joke! Posted a review and they said please reach out to us… ummmmm yeah. Ok… how do I do that….? Literally impossible! Fake people act like they care.? How about you reaching out to me? U see my name.? I would be embarrassed but guess they are not..

I have used this twice both times had horrible interactions with them. The last time checked into my hotel, found that there was a hole in the ceiling above the shower in the bathroom, and the dog had slept in the bed in the hotel remade the bed with the same sheets, took pictures of this, sent it into them, because I had bought the extra insurance to cancel any time and the rebook my hotel for any reason those weren't good enough reasons for them to cover the hotel in fact, it took them two days to tell me they were not going to refund my money

Worst travel experience I've ever had

This company alleged to have found me airfare. I should have known when my credit card company flagged them for fraud. They charged my credit card 5 times for the route they identified. When they couldn't provide the airfare promised, there was NO way to get live support or a refund. I've been receiving random emails from different accounts telling me why I can't receive a refund for a service that they never provided. A scam!

Buyers beware

Don't believe that they will give you 100% of your money back. They will give you a stupid voucher and that's not a fool voucher. And a lot of dumbass emails. And by time they get done adding on all the prices you haven't got a deal. I canceled my trip they owe me $167. Too bad I will never see it any of it. They play games.

First time using this app. Booked a hotel stay through them and it was a terrible hotel! The hotel said they could do nothing because it was booked through Hopper. There is no customer service on their end. Automatic responses only. Won't recommend Hopper or use it again!

My fiancée tried to book a flight earlier today took an hour and wasn't able to because of "errors" on their end. Then I finally was able to book that flight and less than 3 hours later hopper cancelled it with no explanation at all. When you see a price of a flight just go to the airlines website and book there. Usually same price to book through direct with airline.
