Complete rip off. They add on deceptively extra charges. I needed to change a date and they could not do it. Took charge on refund. $30 charge for trip guarantee is $30 per day of stay.

I reserved a room on a Thursday contact the hotel directly hopper did not reserve my room. Then I had to pay an extra $25 just to chat with VIP customer service all for them to tell me to give them 24-72 hrs to resolve the issue. They never booked my room I had to cancel and I have yet to receive my refund. SCAMMERS

I booked a round trip flight (All Nippon Airline) from Hoppers Vancouver-Delhi-Vancouver from May 11th- May 26th, but due to unavoidable circumstances I had to cancel my flight but before I cancelled it I confirmed with hopper if I am eligible for refund. They said I can get Travel credit for future to re-book my flight.
And now I have cancelled it and trying to book a new flight; every time I try they say "WRONG ITINERARY".
I spoke with the airline (with is ANA) they said that Hopper has given you the travel credit, we didn't so they can only help me. At first when I emailed the Hoppers they were very warm and welcoming but later when I asked that I have issue booking the new flight from my Airline credit, the APP is not letting me do that.
They said they are looking into it and will help me shortly, they reverted my email to different associate and they all said they will help me, one of the associate even asked me my preference for the flight booking so that she can get me the quotation but the other associate who was suppose to revert never replied. Then I had to raise the request again after 2 days, and now the new guy was handing my case but he wanted me to elaborate my concern which I did twice as he asked me too. But still he doesn't understand what I need even though I made my self very clear that I need to rebook my ticket with my travel credit.

You have very little control over your booking with this being a 3rd party booking. Our flights got changed and you cannot just call the car rental place directly, you have to go through the app and it takes forever for customer service to get you an unsatisfactory result in the end. We ended up with no car, and no refund! Horrible experience.

Don't use this app, they are scam and fraud, they charge me double booking which I didn't even make it, they charge my card higher price not as shown in the receipt. They charge me in Usd eventhough i already Aud and its clear un the receipt that showing "you ll be charged in Aus" because of that my bank charge me international fee transaction Till now they didn't refund me, gave me so much trouble, I have to leave April 9th, still don't know what to do because of this terrible company. Don't trust review on instagram, most just influencer or people with affiliate program that they might never hv honest experience with this company. Google it and read review from trustpilot. Even for speak with the agent you have to pay for that as VIP service that not even Vip, avoiding this company at all cost if you want have peace of mind travel.

Made a mistake and accidentally book wrong room in wrong city. Called hotel told them what happened told me to get in contact with hopper. Which was no help.so I guess I lost my money which is hard to comfy these days just wanted to be in closer hotel where I am able to get to with no transportation. But customer service is 1 star. I use to love this app until previous. Never hit a button by mistake because if you do its your lose

I have never used this Hopper app before and never will again! They publish fake favorable reviews of trashy hotels and once you see what you have paid for there's no way to contact a human being to complain! They hide their link for "help" and make it just about impossible to contact them. Even when you do things correctly like asking for another room or for your money back they drag their feet while they "investigate". Even if the hotel manager apologizes and takes responsibility for the bad experience. The site will ultimately deny your request and tell you there is nothing they can do!
If it was possible to have a negative star rating this site would be a -5.
Don't make the same mistake I did!
Hopper is the worse app you can ever use! Stay far away! Hopper double booked a home for me & my family & took my money & left us with no where to stay! Telling us all they could was have us wait 3 to 10 days for a refund & no where to stay!

It's been a month and half that we have been asking for a refund following the cancellation from the airline of our flight - Hopper booking number GCYTWV. We paid for the extra VIP service and after dealing with multiple agents and receiving conflicting responses, got an EOS (end of service) notification this morning advising that the case is closed despite telling us yesterday they were still working on getting the refund from the airline. We have asked for evidences of communication between the airline and hopper, evidences of the cancellation by the airline, a case number for our request from Singapore Airline… you've got nothing and got nowhere. A company should always be judged on how they fix problems when things go wrong. Hopper gets a big 0/10! DO NOT USE HOPPER TO BOOK YOUR FLIGHT OR PAY FOR PROTECTION SERVICE WITH THEM, it costs about $800 for this service and get you nothing. The original flight costed $4200.

I reserved a 2 queen bed room and only got one bed. The hotel couldn't fix this. No rooms left. Sleeping on the floor due to poor management. Man at the front desk of the hotel told me not to use hopper and it's basically a scam.

Terrible customer service actually non existence.l. Lost my money with this site...I will never use again
The app has you "freeze" the price by paying a deposit on a hotel room. It states you can use your deposit for a "discount" on your room. When I went to actually pay for the room, the room was charged $23.00 extra dollars per night! There was no price freeze. But I had to pay for the room anyway or lose my deposit. Total scam will never use hopper again.

If you are at all interested in getting a good deal, fair deal... DO NOT US HOPPER! Your mind frame is this is great and look how much I'm saving but your not saving ANYTHING. The little pennies it's giving you for signing in and making you believe that your being a part of some great savings is all a mental scam. VIP customer service is just so that you will have access to them otherwise they won't even answer your emails, that's if you can even find an email address to have access to them.
What they don't tell you is even is you freeze the rate, it's not a guarantee. After you book your room they charge you 2 additional fee's on your credit card that don't go away after your charges are finalized. After you add up all these charges and what you thought was a great deal turns in to being OVER CHARGED and you pay way more then what you would have paid by going directly to the hotel site or Priceline and the other deal sites. You stand 100% better deal with them, any of them then you do with HOPPER. I GOT GOT... I WOULD HATE FOR YOU TO HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE I DID. **DID NOT GET THE FREEZE RATE, PAID 2 ADDITIONAL CHARGES**

I'm trying to contact them because Frontier cancelled my two flights and they processed the refund directly to Hopper and one month later i'm still waiting my money back. I had to paid the VIP customer service because they never respond me the emails. Still waiting for my money.

DO NOT USE PRICE FREEZE. They will keep your money and you cannot use it towards your flight. Customer service does not care and will give you generic, non helpful answers. From what I understood the only time it is non refundable is when you cancel the flight according to their "good to know facts" about the price freeze but this was not the case.

I thought this Hopper App was supposed to be a great one to book a flight at a good price. The transaction started out good until after I put my debit card information in. I got a message that stated "Sorry but the price for this booking has just went up by $38. REALLY... I don't play games like. I cancelled my account, booked my flight through Expedia and got it for $100 cheaper.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
