Just downloaded app had trouble opening app, then had trouble linking my Google account, app keeps returning to the start, so haven't had opportunity to book anything.
Booked a hotel room on hopper, got charged and showed unknown error. Neither i received any email from them nor any update. I tried their help centre which is worse, nobody helped and its almost 5 days i didn't receive refund. Even no one reached out to me. Honestly, i never recommend this app to anyone.

Don't bother with this site unless you are willing to pay the extra money for cancellation and customer service. I accidentally booked a hotel for the wrong date, never used the reservation; called the hotel immediately and had it cancelled, but because I didn't pay extra for free cancellation Hopper said they couldn't get my money back. Also I didnt pay the extra fees for 24/hr customer service and it took 72 hours before Hopper responded to my inquiry.
Another occasion I booked a hotel through this site; upon arrival we found out our particular room had communal bathrooms? Absolutely no where on the Hopper site did they state this fact.

Provided false information on cancellation policy within 24 hours. Customer service useless and wasted time. After three hours of phone calls, Hopper still refused to help with me request for cancellation. Afterward, hopper then changed the flight to display non refundable. Basically pulling a bait and switch. False advertisement plus bait and switch, on top of a bunch of cheap insurance and premium support sales.
I was trying to book a flight, hotel and car but the server was down all the time and it said try again I have been trying all day so I decided to look for reviews to see how hopper works and I am so thankful I read all the bad reviews I am going yo delete this app and tell all my friends not yo try it

Attempted to correct a modified flight, 30 emails and 4 calls later they screwed it up and so I had to book myself, don't use!

This has been a nightmare of an experience! I will never use hopper again! The freeze price is misleading! It makes you think you need the freeze price to keep that price. I was ready to pay my whole amount and I did that right away the same day after I used the freeze price and FINALLY talking to someone that explained what that was. They still refused to give me a refund! The prices are not cheaper I would have been better off sticking to Priceline! Then they make you pay for "VIP" service.they don't respond to chats quick they don't respond to emails quick! I will never again use HOPPER and I will advise anyone thinking about it not to use it as well!

The price freeze is a big scam. Paid price freeze next morning went back on site price had dropped but I wasn't notified. Went on to book at reduced price at $281 vs $351. Only added option to change flight. After booking they charged my card $411. Have contacted with no result on chat. Requested a phone call no call. I advise anyone do not use hopper as a travel agency. Notified my card about charges and they informed they get complaints all the time concerning Hopper! Did stop payment on airfare charges and price freeze charges since I have had no response from hopper. Such a lousy business practice. Definitely a SCAM! BEWARE DO NOT USE HOPPER!

I try to make reservation for a hotel. Got my money from my account and never get me a confirmation of or any reference number. I try the help tap and is not helpful at all. Waiting for be tomorrow so I can call my bank. Send an email to them and till now no answer back. They are thiefs. This star is because I have to put something as a reference but this is bs.

I got charged for a reservation I did not make! Of course the only way to get ahold of customer service is through email. There were THIRTEEN agents that were on the email train one at a time every couple of days stating they were working on the case but never resolved anything. I contacted the hotel myself and spoke to the manager who said he had cancelled the fraudulent reservation free of charge and sent the needed documentation to Hopper who kept saying they never received it. After a month of this, I had to pay an extra $25 upcharge to get their "VIP" live chat customer service and "magically" they had it resolved in just a few hours. They held onto $380 and forced me to pay an $25 before they would refund a fraudulent charge. I will NEVER use Hopper again!

Used hopper for the first time to book our one and only trip in years and I will never refer them to anyone. Hopper sent the wrong reservation room which was a degrade than what we wanted to the hotel. Then the hotel told us they can't help us and that hopper would need to give us a refund or compensation.
When I reached out to hopper help desk it took them two weeks to send me generic emails that they are working on it. Then today I finally was able to speak to someone on the phone but that got me nowhere. All they would do is offer us a voucher that is only good for 90 days.
I would never use this application again

I booked a hotel in downtown Atlanta for my birthday two months before the date. I called the hotel the day of to verify checkin only to hear there was no reservation! Not only did I have to pay 25$ to speak to a hopper representative, I was lied to by multiple employees stating I did have a room, they just needed to figure out the "logistics". After speaking with FOUR employees over 4 hours, who lied straight through their teeth- I was told I needed to wait for a manager to call me. To which I replied I have already found a room, at the same hotel, through PRICELINE and wanted a full refund. The staff stated I needed to cancel 5 days prior to get a full refund. I laughed and said if you actually had my reservation I wouldn't be canceling. I will NEVER use hopper again and simply want to warn others to stay away from this terrible excuse of a business. THANK YOU HOPPER for nearly ruining a Nurses birthday weekend. I will continue to use PRICELINE.

They get you to freeze and take a deposit, small yes, but it's still your money - no risk as they will pay you back if the room isn't available or, they pay the difference on a more expensive room… seems like a no brainer, right? They even offer to give you this deposit back as an extra discount when you eventually book…
Then, how strange, the room is no longer available and they offer you a room that is no good?!? I booked or froze the price on a family room, lo and behold, this was not available (3 days later) and they offered a standard double! No use.
And they will not return the deposit as 'it's not eligible, please read the terms'. It was a totally legitimate refund request.
Further to this, the room I wanted was very much still available, and yes, on their site/app! The price had increased but that's the point of the freeze. They simply will not honour their promises!
Conned and lied to. Do not use. Atrocious and very dodgy activity!
This is 100% the case. I'm fuming that I got caught by this. Be warned people. Stay away!
To be honest. They show and have good discounts. When payments is deducted from account. No confirmations available and said amount will be return in 3-10 days! That's dumb! And I thought to give chances. Not anymore!

I purchased an American Airline flight on Hopper and also selected my seats. I received confirmation emails for the flight and the seats. Later I received an email stating that my seat selections did not go through and that I could go to their carrier to select my seats.
When I went to American Airlines to select the seats, no longer got the free seat selection that was a part of my seat selections for 2 legs of my flight. In addition, the price for the seat selections that I paid additional for on the other two legs had increased. I have a confirmation from hopper for these seats and now I'm being asked to pay triple of what I've been confirmed for already. In order to chat with hopper's customer service, I had to pay $42. Once I spoke to them, no one seems to understand that a part of my flight included seat selection that I made and were confirmed. Now the price of all seats have increased so a refund for my seat selection is not sufficient especially when I got 2 of the 4 confirmed seats for free and paid $13 each for the other 2 seats. Now this $26 original seat selection costs over $75. So a refund of $26 is not acceptable as I am not getting what I originally paid for. Their customer service was horrible. They never followed up, and for 3 days I had to continue to explain the situation over and over to different agents. They still failed to resolve the issue.

Absolutely disgusting the type of places they expect you to stay at. They promise vip customer support but when confronted with an issue they offer ZERO resolution. Absolute waste of money. I was put up in a hotel with a bug infestation and they offered zero help to resolve my situation which left me out thousands of dollars and with nowhere comfortable to stay. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. They will leave you hanging 100% of the time.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
