I have used Hopper 3 times to book domestic flights and never had any issues. I went to use their new Price Freeze a few weeks ago. I paid $48 to have flights to Iceland froze at a certain price until I decided if I wanted to book. I went to book my flights and I kept getting an error message. After 6-7 error messages I decided I would not book my flights through the app. I contacted customer service 2 weeks ago to ask for a refund of the money I put down on the freeze since the error was on Hopper's end. I have since opened 2 other message chats asking for a refund and have not heard from any of the 3 chats I have open with them. I finally just disputed it with my credit card company. Paying a little extra on flights through another source is worth it to me now.

Absoltue JOKE!

I have been trying to contact hopper for 5 days now. We had flights booked last year that we had to cancel. I was charged a fee but the remaining credit was kept by hopper to be used within a year of cancelling. This date is coming up and we need to use the tickets to see my partners mother who is dying. I have tried to contact qantas ( the airline we booked the original tickets with) and they said they have no record and we must contact hopper. The chat site on there website is $#*!, a real person is no where to be seen, only robots with no answers. I am so angry and wound't advise anyone to book flights with them! If anyone has a number I could use to call them please contact me.

I have been trying to reach customer service through the "24/7 customer support chat", have sent several messages, and have not received A SINGLE REPLY. The flight I purchased through the app is next week and my last name is misspelled by one letter. What should be a simple fix is causing me the most stress and anxiety, and completely taking away the excitement of my upcoming vacation - that I might not even get to go to since I can't get someone to help me! There is no phone number, no email address, NOTHING. Never experienced something like this in my life!

Don't book with Hopper

I wish I would've read reviews prior to buying tickets on Hopper. I reached out to customer service due to an error in my booking. They never responded! If I could give them zero stars I would. Sure they have great prices, but they have virtually no customer support. So folks please do not book here because if there is an issue with your booking you can't even contact these people.

Disappointed

I bought 4 tickets Miami to Barcelona for June 2020. My son has to change his return flight as he has to stay in Spain on business. I've contacted Hopper various times on the Chat since it is the only way to contact them. I get a message saying someone will contact me but I don't get any communication back.
I called the airline and only Hopper can change it. I paid $40 extra per person for changes and cancellations.

I've attempted to make contact on more than one occasion in order to cancel a flight for a trip that I'm unable to go on. When you try to reach customer service the only option is to send a message via a chat option and await a response. I'm a patient person but I this is unacceptable. Oddly enough, I've seen many reviews on several platforms echoing what I've mentioned here. This organization should focus on restructuring their customer service model.

I bought tickets to Indonesia from USA. Over $1000 for my single ticket. My other friends didn't have a date nailed down but I wanted to buy the ticket at Black Friday Prices, and since they have a Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) policy I figured it wouldn't hurt to buy them early.
Turns out my friends can't join me that week. Trip has to be moved out into February. I was about to use my CFAR policy until I noticed in the fine print that Hopper says it only gives out a "Partial" refund. What does that mean? I tried contacting Hopper. No response. Every day for 8 days now I have reached out to them. No response! I can't afford to buy two sets of tickets to Indonesia. I might be going there by my lonely self now, and my friends are on the verge of canceling the trip entirely since we can't get tickets lined up, let alone other reservations that need to happen.
I will never be using this company ever again. Hopefully by writing this review they will take notice and help me out. Then maybe I'll change my rating.

My husband and I booked our dream vacation. Hopper had an amazing deal so we booked it. My husband had an issue with his passport due to it expiring in 2 months we were unable to travel. Luckily hopper was kind enough to work with copa airlines to provide a flight credit. Sarah was very helpful and assisted us With great customer service. Thank you Sarah for your assistance and making a bad situation better.

Dishonest

I had a lot of luck in the past booking flights with hopper, now when I try to book a flight it immediately says the flight is suddenly full and I have to pick a much more expensive flight. I go back a week later and that flight that was "full" is still advertised as available, again I go to purchase it and it says it is again full. I have had to purchase the exact same flight through a different company multiple times now. Even more frustrating, the flight was not even half full. So hopper is officially lying. They do not have the flights they advertise and the offer absolutely NO way to get in contact with them regarding the issue. Unless this issue can be addressed, I would recommend this service to NOBODY, unless you want endless frustration from a dishonest company.

From bad to worse

My experience got even worse yesterday whrn Hopper finally replied after a week and a half of the first time I reached out to them. The person who responded likes to use emojis such as sad faces whrn giving you bad news. The news I got was that the airline (wouldn't say which one) changed one of my flights (wouldn't say which one) and that my return would now be 2 DAYS later than I originally booked.

I asked them to try alternative airlines. They didn't. I've asked for flight confirmation details and still haven't gotten any. I asked for assurance that if anything goes wrong that I will get on a flight at no additional charge to which they said 'the airline will do their best to re-protect you accordingly'... which airline amd what does that even mean?!?!

I've had to take 2 more unpaid days off work. I still have none of my flight, airline, baggage details yet I've handed over more than $1,300 dollars over 3 months ago.

Never recommend this 'business' to anyone

It's a week before I take a long international journey with connections all booked with Hopper.

I realise the information provided on the app is minimal and actually partially incorrect as flight numbers have been changed by the airlines but not updated on my app details. I booked flights to include baggage but zero confirmation about thid and the airline website just tells me to contact the booking agent... uhhhh trying to! I also don't even have a flight number for one of my flights.

I've been trying to get in touch with Hopper using THEIR preferred customer service method through my booking on the app. No response in a week. Will not be using them again at this point and sincerely hoping they haven't screwed up my bookings over the Holidays

Terrible! Never use them. They claim to be the cheapest but never offer you the best deal! You are better off using cheapoair or Expedia. Hopper won't give you the best discounts.

Never again

They cancelled my return flight from Mexico and wasn't told or given another option. My chat request has been unread for over 24 hours. There's no customer service # for me to call, all done through the app. I called the airline and fixed it myself. I would never use them again or recommend to anyone.

No Customer Service

Purchased cancellation for any reason insurance and have been trying to cancel upcoming flight and only communication is through robo text. No email no phone number no response. Used hopper many times no issues first time I have to cancel and no customer service exists for this company

Zero customer service phone number, text only, 24 hours to get them to tell you they will review it and someone will ping me back. Just want to make a simple flight change 4 days later still no answer. I'm too close to departure now so I paid again For the flight I needed. I even paid for the cancellation insurance. Hopper is Garbage

My flight was cancelled that I booked through Hopper. The airline was offering a full refund but Hopper wanted to keep $500.6 days later I finally got a refund - they were beyond horrible to deal with. They kept offering different things and would only respond once every 24 hours. The only way I could get them to respond was to reach out repeatedly over social media.

My children are traveling internationally and two of their flights need to be changed and or cancelled so new ones can be arranged. I have been waiting for hopper to reply back. I have sent dozens of messages over 5 days. I get automated replies that say they will be back with us in a couple hours. Finally one of the airlines was nice enough to do the change for me without the help of hopper however the other airlines say they can't help. The problem is I can't even get my kids out of the country because hopper won't respond back to me and into that ticket is changed or cancelled no other airlines will sell me a ticket (they are traveling out of China which is better strict). I am running out of time and beyond **UPDATE**Once Hopper finally got back to me (4 said after my initial outreach) they were very helpful. If the response time to speak to an actual agent and not just a computer response was within 24 hours then my review would have been a 5 Star. But until this is resolved I will be wary about using hopper again.

the idea is goid. but the prices you have for most destinations are very high! you should have more information about flights to suggest better prices. just compare the prices you show with the prices google flights shows.
