If i could give no star to them i will definitely give them zero or negative. I made a booking through hopper. I cant go as the bridge was closed due to snow storm. On top of that i paid extra $15 to make changes to reservation. Hopper Supervisor Tapsaya is so disrespectful she wont listen to you. She just said its our policy we cant refund you even though i cant make there because of weather conditions. She is so rude, just putting me on mute every 5 minutes and at last disconnecting my call saying there is no response from customer side even i was speaking. Worst customer service ever seen. No one should use hopper as they just enjoy on your money. They dont even make effort to help you. Best option to do booking yourself from hotel website as HOPPER REPRESENTATIVE AND SO CALLED SUPERVISORS ARE worst. WORST SERVICE. My 200$ just wasted. They say talk to hotel directly. Whats the point of making reservations through HOPPER then. I wont recommemd this to anyone. Enjoying on customer's money and not even providing them any customer service.
Airline changed my flight I called them within an hour of it being changed to try and change my flight to something else but they said they couldn't do anything right then and to call back I called five more times within 24 hours then they said I can't change my flight because it has been over 24 hours. The only reason I don't have a new flight is because I trusted Hopper

When booking flights, the app appears that you are able to book seats for the price they are offering. If they are unable to full-fill your seats with the airline, they send an email stating that you will be reimbursed for your seats. However, they list the seats on your receipt as "Free" and thus your refund is $0. I would have purchased the flights directly through the airline for a cheaper price without seats. I only used the app because it included seats.

I did a price freeze on a airline ticket for 183. After purchase they changed the freez from 183 to 327. I called 4 times to get the issue resolved and they refused to hung up on me or told me it was not refundable. I had to call my credit card company and report fraid on hopper over $37. I hope it was worth losing a customer and getting a bad review hopper. I will use you service to watch for price drops, but will be booking through the airline or expedia because they give out the same price.

We used Hopper app to book our flights to Thailand. We bought four tickets with American airlines through Hopper app. Unfortunately me & my mom flights were cancel by American airlines. I can't get a hold of Hopper. My son call American airlines,
He can't resolve anything. Everyone was frustrated. All American airline want is money money money. This is so ridiculous. They have no mercy. We book with Delta airline & end up paying $300 more for each person. My son and sister is still flying with American because they don't want to pay $300 each for cancelation fee. All four of us was supposed to travel together to Thailand. If American airlines cancel me & my mom. Why can my son & sister just cancel their flights without any penalty? This is how airlines work like a scam. I will never use Hopper app or fly American airlines. This big trip was suppose to be four of us together but we got seperated by cancelation flights by American airline. We are so disappointed because we couldn't fly together 😞 😔

Book airline, car, and hotel with Hopper. Car rental company tried to stick me with an electric car in the Arizona desert. Rental company said I'd have to take it up with the 3rd party app (Hopper). Well, I called Hopper and the second I stated I needed their help with my car rental, a recorded message came on saying I need to work directly with the car rental company. I called back twice, got a live person each time, and once I said I needed help with my car rental, the same message started playing. Hopper simply disconnects you and puts you into this outgoing message with no chance to talk to a person. Clearly they could not care less about your vacation. Car rental company (Nu Car) would not make changes and I was unable to talk to anyone at Hopper. I went elsewhere for my car rental so I paid for two cars. These 3rd party travel apps are a bad idea. Book directly with the hotel, car rental, and airline. It's the only way to be treated well and not have issues such as this.

As I'm currently writing this review, I'm sitting in a hotel lobby for over 9 hours trying to get a room that I paid for 3 weeks in advance. Customer service keeps hanging up on me. No one calls you back. I've spoken to 3 supervisors as of the moment and currently am writing this review while I have one on the phone. My body hurts from sitting in this lobby all day. I traveled from NY to Louisiana straight 23 hr drive and I'm exhausted, all I wanted to do was shower and go to sleep. You can't reach no one but if you do they hang up on you. Worse company ever. Do not use.

I've enjoyed using hopper for flights but I rented a Budget car rental recently and was charged for taxes and fees through the app and again in person when I picked up the car. Budget was willing to itemize what I was charged for but Hopper wasn't leaving the question of whether they are double charging people.

I have used Hopper for flights and got a good deal on them so while I'm not a fan of Hopper anymore, I can't say that I wouldn't use them again for flights because I probably would. But if anything goes bad on any of your purchases, you're screwed because they will not and cannot help you. The reason I took all the stars off is because of a vacation rental. They do not tell you from the get-go who the vacation rental owners are like nobody else does, but the difference is they do not have the basic minimal protection for you that is required by other apps. I purchased $1776 worth reservation for a beachfront property. I booked it four months in advance, and only two hours after I purchased the owner contacted me through an unfamiliar phone number with a link that was not affiliated with Hopper and gave me an immediate threat to cancel my reservation without a refund, if I did not click on and sign this renters agreement. The lack of polite introduction made this feel incredibly shady so I looked up reviews for big Fish rentals because that's who said it was and their reviews were horrendous. There was pictures and videos from multiple different people of cockroach, infestation and blood and fresh urine and on the mattress and mold everywhere. I went back and asked them to cancel my reservation and give me a refund and they refused to do it. This would not have happened. Had I purchased from VRBO or Airbnb because they would've given me at least a refund within 48 business hours after purchase. It's insane that you can buy a vacation rental 2 1/2 hours later. Try to get a refund and be refused. The renters agreement had clauses saying that you could not give any negative reviews to their business and also that cockroaches happen and you will not get a refund, however, if we have to service it, during your stay, we will charge you. Not in those exact words, but that is the layman terms for what that meant, and you could see by the reviews that that's exactly how they used those clauses Hopper was a no way able to help me because they had to ask permission from the people to refund my money. They will have nothing to do with refunds other than that. I learned later from somebody else, who had an even worse experience because they actually stayed in the condo and got to experience being charged because they asked them to take care of the cockroaches that were under the sink in their condo, but if you use something like Vrbo, they have something called a premier host. If you don't know what that is I'll just leave it to you to look it up, but I will never book through one of these apps again unless I get a premier host and Hopper does not offer that.

I booked on Hopper for Econo Lodge in Fort lauderdale. I mapped Econo Lodge on my gps, afterall that was the name of the hotel I booked, Econo Lodge Fort Lauderdale Airport North. This is also the name of the hotel in my confirmation email and on the app there is nothing at all to determine that this was in fact not the hotel I was booking. After a 40 minute drive with my 4 year old, I realized I was at the wrong property. When I look further into it I saw in the hopper app that they had the name Econo Lodge; however, the address was for the Grand Hotel which is a hotel I would not book for. The customer service agent at Harbor would not put me through to a supervisor saying and I go that they would tell me the same thing she is telling me which is the address is what I should have looked at when you Google the address it pulls up Grand Hotel so she straight up lies to me made me get out of my car with my daughter to go into account which approved to her was it just I was at which is all a new point because I booked for Econo Lodge would not put me through to her supervisor she insisted I go inside the hotel get a business card to show her the address. She also was dishonest because she said she Googled the address and it showed up Econo Lodge; however, when I Googled the address it showed up the Grand Hotel. They would not issue me a refund, they are insisting on going through this Grand Hotel who obviously doesn't know what's really going on since they're not the booking site. I'm very disappointed that there are companies out there that can lie and mislead their guests their customers and get away with it. She says to wait 48 hours for an answer; however, if I don't get my money back I do plan on filing a dispute with my credit card company. I have plenty of proof that the name of the hotel I booked is not what they gave me. I spent over an hour on the telephone with this girl, 40 minutes driving to the property and after all that didn't even get a hotel for the evening. I'm very disappointed with the service and will not be using Hopper ever again, Very poor service

I booked a reservation at the Krystal Altitude all-inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta through Hopper.com. However, upon arrival, the front desk at Krystal Altitude (now called Krystal Grande) informed me that they did not have my reservation. I called Hopper, and they claimed to have sent the confirmation and reservation again, but the issue persisted.
After several hours of back-and-forth communication, the front desk agent, Daniel, discovered that our reservation was actually at the Krystal Puerto Vallarta, a neighboring hotel. I showed them my confirmation, stating that we booked at the Krystal Altitude All-Inclusive Resort, but they insisted that our reservation was at the other hotel.
We were forced to check into the Krystal Puerto Vallarta, where we were told that our reservation was for the room only, not the all-inclusive package we had paid for. Despite my protests, we were not allowed to eat or drink at the hotel unless we paid extra.
I spent hours on the phone with Hopper, trying to resolve the issue and get our reservations transferred back to the original hotel, Krystal Altitude. However, we were told that the Krystal Altitude did not exist, as they were informed by the Krystal Grande/Krystal Altitude resort reservation line.
We checked out the next day due to our dissatisfaction with the situation. I repeatedly requested a refund, but as of today, January 29,2024, I have not received any refund from either Krystal Grande (Altitude), Krystal Puerto Vallarta, or Hopper.
This experience was the worst I have ever had at a hotel, and I travel frequently. The negative reviews are accurate, and I advise against booking at this hotel, as it is a scam. They claim not to have your reservation, place you in a lesser hotel, and refuse to provide the all-inclusive package even though you have paid for it. They do not respond to calls or emails and steal your money.

"I'm transferring you to some-important-sounding-department to further assist your needs"
Me: "no, please help me. I'm stranded!"
*cycle repeats*
I purchased VIP support and missed-connection guarantee and I've tried talking to them for a week to help when I had a close connection for a flight. They refused to help. I was left stranded at the airport overnight.
Use Hopper to see prices and schedules, but NEVER book with Hopper.

We purchased 2 return tickets to Sydney early Jan at a seemingly very good rate for premium economy seats. It turned out that the rate was for bare fare. We ended up having to top up another $400 each to upgrade our seat! The final amount we ended up paying was the same amount we could have gotten directly with the airline! We felt cheated.
Also, after making payment from the hopper platform, I received a charge of $55 to my credit card for VIP support one week later, without prompting me. I let it pass since the amount was small. I got a rude shock the following week when I received an alert from my bank that Hopper charged me another $504 for flight disruption guarantee, again without checking with me! Since I had paid for the VIP support, I was able to talk to a Hopper staff to find out why I was charged for this item when I did not purchase it. The agent explained that this option was there when I was purchasing my air tickets. When I questioned him why this cost was not reflected when I paid for the tickets and only charged me 2 weeks later, he couldn't explain. Finally, he asked me whether I want to cancel this purchase, I told him of course. Thankfully, I was refunded almost immediately the next working day.
It has been a very stressful experience using Hopper. If you still believe that they offered the lowest price, beware of additional charges later.

I wish I could issue zero. Its very hard to get the support and the support sucks. They eat your money.I booked tickets and airlines cancelled the flights and refunded the money in full. But, hopper has not returned my money in full and the added funds I used on my account were not credited back. I made few calls and spent few hours and finall they issued a voucher which has a validity and those funds have to be used in one go. Very horrible service. I don't recommend them for your flight or hotel booking.

Try to travel and hopper cancel my flight. Look up flight through the real airlines they never had flight on that day or time. I think hopper just make money off your cancellation fees sorry app. I will not go for any 3rd party app never you get a good deal going directly with the airline company..

I give them 0 stars, So I paid 2169$ for a flight and got nothing out of it that included trip insurance for 161.77$ missed connection guarantee (whatever this means) for 163$, VIP support for 42$ and a tip for 5$ so why did it happen to me i don't know had to reschedule my flight and they told me to pay the fare difference per the airline policy and they was asking near 800$ and I'm writing this as calm as a person can be because it's not my first time being scammed. So folks should u decide to go with this website because it's cheap I'll leave that up to you, have a good evening.

I have used Hopper for the last time. 10 mo ago, I booked a trip from ATL to YVR, over New Years, 2024. It was a great price, as it was a combination of 2 separate one-way fares. Delta outbound, Westjet on the return. Over the course of months prior to our travel, they sent 2-3 emails about schedule changes. I could accept the schedule change, or request modification. Well, during one of the modification requests, they cancelled my flights for me, but didn't tell me. I showed up to the ATL airport without a ticket. I had to pay $1500 to get to my destination. On arrival, I noted that my previously booked flight home disappeared from my Fly Delta App. On investigation, which took hours of my vacation time, they cancelled my flight in September and didn't tell me.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
