I order from Nordstrom Rack all the time. Their orders ship within 3 days always. I tried HAUTELOOK, even though shipping takes up to 3 weeks. It was a great deal after all. I called after 3 weeks and was told one item was just marked shipped and the other would take another week. I received the first Love Token item and really love the quality of it. I'm disappointed to find out after my next follow up that the second half of the order will never come. They didn't have enough to fill the orders. Instead of notifying me and returning my money quickly, they did nothing. No notification email or phone call. I had to follow up. I'm not sure I would order from HauteLook again. If I do, I won't hold my breath waiting for the delivery. If it's a good deal and I'm not counting on needing the item perhaps. I hope they get it together. They need someone who will crack the whip and run a tight ship... otherwise it's gonna sink.

Merchandise and prices are good. The site provides good descriptions and user interface. This is a flash site, which requires fast decisions, to grab the best deals. My experiences with customer service has been good; they even tried to track a replacement for an item that was shipped to me in the wrong size. The only real gripe has been the order processing time. Not a big surprise, as they are owned by a sticks and bricks retailer.

Their shipping can be VERY slow, but I have gotten some great deals. I have learned not to believe the expect by dates listed on the site and am not disappointed. Sometimes it's a good thing they take so long to ship, it gives me a chance to come to my senses and call back and cancel items!

They cancelled it because the product they post was not available. I purchased Arche tall boots. Imagine expecting it to arrived and to be used in a special event. They even did not warned me that they cancel it. What a bummer! I could have look for other options. This is how they treat their customer, very unprofessional.

Once again they sent me the wrong thing. I ordered a pair of pants in black and one in powder blue and they sent me two pairs of the black paints. The pants were pulled from the store, came on hangers with the store tags and one of the black pants was tagged blue! No one could see they were both the same thing? If it's not incorrect orders its inventory issues where the the stock is unavailable and you find out after waiting 3 months for your order. I am done with them. They have gotten worse over the years. It's not worth it. They also like to send clothes with security tags on them as well. Talk about a headache. I will pay full price or go to the store to buy directly.

Who would have know that such a well known company have such a bad reputation! I should have done my research before spent more than $100 for nothing! I placed my ordered more than a month ago and received a confirmation email, thinking that my order is secure. But more than a month have past and still no email regarding the shipping! Emailed them a dozen times and all I got is the auto reply saying that they will Ensure their so called member care will response to me within 24-48 hours! I don't want to call coz it will waste my $$ as I'm from Asian countries!

I've had nothing but great luck on this site! Contrary to a previous review eluding this site was not associated with Nordstrom it absolutely is. Things sell quickly and occasionally do take awhile to receive but the site is always up front about the expected delivery date. I have been a loyal customer for over a year and have made over 15 purchases. I have also returned a couple of items and had no problems.

I don't know why it has so many bad reviews? I had a good experience with Hautelook, maybe shipping is not the fastest (I got one of my items in 10 days and another one in 11 days) but otherwise it's a great way to save on good brands. If you're afraid you're going to get a bad product I suggest you google it first before purchasing it.

I ordered a pair of boots, they were not shipped as promised and they sent the wrong size. I called, straightened it out and was assured shipping would be quicker. That was 5 days ago and no tracking info yet. Wish I would have read these reviews first.

I've made 3 purchases from HauteLook and there was something wrong with all 3.
First, I got a dress that I fell in love with on their site only to receive it in a completely different color that was absolutely hideous and no where near what had been advertised. They returned, no problem although I really wanted that dress.
Second, was a Kenneth Cole suit. Their description was inaccurate. Returned, again.
Third, was some lingerie and when it arrived one of the straps was missing. I still liked it enough to just go to Walmart and purchase some straps but how does one person get three defects in a row?
It leads me to wonder if their prices are lower than Rue La La and Gilt because their products are actually inferior. I still love browsing their site because of the prices but I'm making sure anything I buy is returnable because I don't want to get stuck with junk.

Horrible

I loved hautelook and I wish I didn't have to say this but this is strike number 2! I've ordered an item and thy sent me the wrong size. Now they tell me sorry and there's nothing they can do about it. Horrible consideration for their customers. Can't believe they can't accommodate for their own mistakes. Not fair to get excited about a purchase and after a mistake on their end I'm left without the ability to receive the item I've purchased. Just horrible.

Horrible. Horrible horrible horrible. Seriously do not waist your time. I will admit, the deals are amazing, but it's just not worth it. I have had two events take place. The first one, I order and eye shadow palette from their LORAC event. When it finally arrived, I opened the package to the palette shadows being DESTROYED and shattered. And of course the was no refund or returns on that event. The next time I ordered something from them was their Whitening Lightening event. They make you pay $5.95 for shipping but you still have to wait over a month for it to arrive. About four weeks after ordering, the Estimated Delivery date was already over. So I waited another two weeks just to see what would happen. Finally I got fed up and contacted someone about it. The next day they sent me an E-mail saying. They didn't order enough of that product and I would never receive my package. In my opinion, that is unacceptable. I WILL NOT order from Hautelook ever again.

Their site is difficult to navigate if you are looking for a specific item. I went there looking for just a basic black boot but good luck searching their site. Their categories are organized by events that end every day so even after I managed to dig through all their oddly named and not entirely descriptive categories, by the time I came back the next day to order the items I had picked out the "events" were over and I was unable to purchase my items. Less than 24 hours and I can't have them? WTH?! No search engine, oddly named categories that group all kinds of items you don't want to dig through (like seeking shoes but being forced to dig through dresses and accessories), no way to narrow down a search, a constantly moving timer, and department store sky high prices? No thanks!

I didn't know you American can trick customers on website selling!
I order a bracelet and a pair of pearl studs. They finally came to my mail. But I was just so disappointed and would never buy from them again nor recommend to my friends. The real goods compared to the one in the pictures on the website is like the burger you have compare to what in the pictures. That pear studs were too tinny for me to wear. And the bracelet was not pretty at all either. Well, it's my mistake to trust the commercial pictures too much. But no, don't expect much from them

I will never order from you here again. I ordered something three-four weeks weeks ago and I'm trying to get into contact with someone and it's like mission impossible. First, they never update me on orders. Second, when I call the customer care number no one answers. I called 3 times and waited for someone to answer for an hour each time! I've send over 5 emails trying to get into contact with someone and still nothing. All that was said in the email is to call the number I've been calling that no one answers. To me that's horrible customers service.

I had a great experience with hautelook.com. I was a little nervous ordering from them, due to some negative reviews I read. Most reviews were about how long the shipping took, but it is clearly stated when you check out, so I was prepared. I received my order the exact date I was told. Other reviews were regarding quality. I received the exact items I ordered, at the quality I expected. I ordered two fleece character ponchos; one Hello Kitty and one Batman. They are of great quality. I was going to order the same ones from Amazon for almost $40 each, but found them on Hautelook.com for $13 each. I will definitely be ordering from them again. I would rather wait for longer shipping than pay three times the price elsewhere.

First purchased a ring. Looked nothing like the photo. Looked like a piece of junk which could have been purchased at the dollar store. Except it would have cost one dollar, not $45.00! Second purchase was a facial scrub brush. It would not open to receive the batteries. After returning it, I was charged for "re-stocking". Haute Look re-stocks damaged products - consumer beware. Third and final purchase (yes, my fact is red). Smitten by art work, I purchased it for $199.00. I was very surprised to discover that I was charged for shipping. The web page states, "Free shipping for purchases over $100.00. Wasted my time speaking with customer service and was given an insulting $15.00 credit. I'm done with Haute Look and so is every one I know.

Very poor customer service. I returned a $200 jacket to The Rack and they never refunded it to my credit card. I have contacted them 3 times and they do not seem to understand that the sales person appears to have refunded a lower priced similar item by mistake. Education level is low in these people.
Admit your mistake and fix it please!

I had been ordering from this company off an on for about a year without incident (although the retail price is always over-stated). I recently ordered a Dawn Levi jacket and was told, via email nearly 2 weeks later, that the jacket was unfortunately not in stock and I would receive an immediate refund and a $10 credit. Problem was that I could have ordered the same exact jacket on Gilt for the same price but missed my opportunity waiting for this jacket from hautelook. The $10 credit was an insult on top of it. I won't order from them anymore.
