Harbor freight sucks on the return policy! Complete run around! We used are tool once and they would not exchange it!
My name is Ken and I buy and sell stuff for lung transplant fund. Bought a 10x17' portable garage from harbor freight in Jacksonville NC. 1.5yrs ago, I keep all my sales items under my garage & I called this past week may 31 - 2020 talked to a supervisor, was told to bring it back, and they will trade it out for a new one. Mind you I bought a 2 yr. Warranty. Well itook it down, took it back, only to find that they didn't have another one. Now I paid $50.00 for the warranty. Told me to call back the following day. Did that, no tent, said they were getting a truck that evening, no 10x17. Called back Friday June 5th. Talked to a manager. She got $#*!ty with me & said I'm sorry I don't know when we will get any of those back in.we don't get to order.the company sends us what ever they want, so they refunded my purchase price but not my warranty payment.so now I have all my lung transplant fund furniture on the floor I built inside of it with a tarp throughn over it. Needless to say I'm on 8 liters of oxygen 24/7.and saying they won't get another truck until Friday the 12th of June. Harbor freight corporate y'all should be ashamed of the way you treat your customers. I have been a loyal customer since California 30 years ago or longer. You can damn well believe not no more.im going to shame your company all I can, I want the public to know just how sorry the co. Has treated me. You get what you pay for. Tools are as good as anywhere else. Store returns are never a problem. I generally look here to start.

I have a love for power tools and I could spend hours at Harbor Freight just looking at the tools. Great quality as well.
Don't work for them they treat you like crap and write you up even when you have proof you was in the right
So I buy a lot of tools that I normally would only need a couple times. Especially after the icon tool incident. I picked up the icon wrenches, and broke 2 within a week. Brought them in to get replacements. I was told I needed the whole set! What? Then I was told that they don't have single wrenches to do replacements. If have to bring the set in, then they get sent to the manufacture, and then I have to wait for them to send a new set. I asked why can I bring Pittsburg wrenches in and one gets pulled right from a new set? He didn't have an answer. Then yesterday I was trying to find a 72" us general rolling chest. I called the stores that said in stock on the website, but when I called I was told they're in stock for our sale only. Wtf does that even mean I said. The few people I talked to explained to me that I have to order it, then wait 4+ weeks to get it. Then a few told me that they get calls daily asking for this chest. If it'sa hot commodity right now wouldn't you think you'd want at least a few at each store? Finally I found one that was sent extra. I had to drive 2.5 hours to get it. Only reason I went to lengths to get it was because I needed it by Monday not months from now. Then I was told the top work stations or top boxes take even longer……. REALLY… You guys really need to figure out the return policy on icon and keep a few series 3's on hand. Maybe less garbage boxes like the Yukon line, and nobody I see is buying the series 2's, and you'd have room for what's going to sell. Other than those issues I have never had an issue with harbor freight. But today made me think what a joke……. Hopefully things change

Item listed as in stock at the store was not in stock. I can't rely on the web page to see if something is in stock before driving to the store.

Purchase 3/4 drive set. Seemed oh but after 1 week cracked. Was able swap and second one did same. Wasted time

Harbor Freight billed me for several items that never shipped, and shipped several items I never ordered. All from one particular warehouse. After 11 days of begging harbor freight via email, phone calls and social media, I have yet to be given any response at all.
* Two items came up missing from the Dillon, SC docs (I know this because the label was created, which is what happens moments before it is attached to the box an placed on the FedEx outgoing pallet... FedEx never received the box).
* The same warehouse neglected to include all the items in a different shipment (different tracking number)
* On a third shipment (yet a different tracking number, the same warehouse included several packages of zip ties I never ordered.
Harbor Freight refuses to address the issue
* I have contacted customer service several times by phone and many times by email over the past 11 days.
* I reached out to their social media department via facebook
* I called the Dillon, SC warehouse (since your customer service refused to do anything at all)
This is a clear cover up, as Harbor Freight has refused to address any of these issues for after 11 days of me continuously trying to get a response via phone, email, facebook.
* Air Impact Wrench: Mysteriously disappeared from the shipping dock, and they refuse to fulfill the order, even though they charged me for it.
* Air Ratchet: Mysteriously disappeared from the shipping dock, and you refuse to fulfill the order even though they charged me for it.
* Duct Tape: missing item supposed to be included with the Air Oil
* Zip Ties: Mysteriously arrived from Dillon SC without me ordering at all
I have had to open an investigation with FedEx, and have to wait for a billing cycle to open up Fraud / Theft investigations with my Credit Card Company
I seriously think they are going out of business, and just don't care about the consequences that other companies avoid like the plague.
Still waiting after 3 weeks for my shipping comformation after 3 weeks my order will probably never ship
Harbor freight eight channel security system.
I purchased a security system model *******, at some point the system see lost video so I called Technical support, Technical support told me that my hard drive needed to be replaced so instead of replacing it with a 1 TB which is what's standard with this unit, I decided to replace it with the 2 TB a couple hundred dollars, after replacing the hard drive I found out that that was not the problem the problem was in the power cord so I replaced the power cord and the unit was up and running again, that night I noticed the night vision wasn't working, I phoned technical support again, once again support went through the manual and couldn't resolve the problem, the tec suggested that I take it to a repair facility, I waited several days and called back hoping I could get someone that would be able to help me, this person was worse than the last, he repeatedly told me if there was a light shining in the lens it would not allow the inferred to engage, I must've told him sixty times whatever is shining on those four cameras has been shining on them for four years, he asked was it Configured and was it setup for motion, I told him neither of those things has anything to do with the issue, he told me he's not in my home so he doesn't know what the problem is, after that statement, I simply said, I don't need a technician to guess what the problem is I can do that, am now frustrated, no solution.

Answer: I spent 24 minutes on the phone with them only to be told their product was perfect and problem was with my network. The person did not have a clue about what he was talking about.
Answer: I cannot see the particular part you are inquiring about, but could you make something to work? I am thinking you are referring to the notched piece that the handle locks into. Remember, you do not need to duplicate the piece, just make one that works. If you want to send me a picture I would have a better idea.
