Still never trust this company

So after contacting pay pal and getting no where since you get an auto response after happy family gives them the bogus tracing number. Even when they say they will reopen the case. So i listened to someone on this site and contacted pay pal thru twitter and after a few back and forth messages they refunded my money and it was in my account a few days later. So good luck to you all! Use twitter!

So I ordered (May 23rd, 2019)my compass for my husband for our anniversary(Aug 3,2019). I have not received it. I contacted the company on Jun 23 rd to inquire when I could expect my order and what address they were sending it to. They replied back on Jun 24th stating the details of my order and that they will send a tracking number once the item was mailed. They had a temporary address for me, so i emailed them back asking how long they thought it would be and stating my permanent address for it to be mailed to. I then never received any further response from them. I waited and re-emailed them with no response. So i opened a claim with Pay pal. And after a short time I escalated the case. Happie Family then gave them a tracking number stating my item had been delivered on Jun 21st... oddly enough to my permanent address which they did even have or confirmed that they had mailed my item in there email to me on Jun 24th. The tracking number goes to my city but not my address. I got the tracking report from my post office and called and spoke to Pay pal about reopening my case on 8\19 showing them all the emails information and tracking information. Oddly enough they closed my case again. So I called again today 8\20 and spoke to pay pal again. Trying to get them to realize the tracking number they received was bogus and there own email confirmation does not line up with the tracking bogus info also. So they again said they are re-opening the case. I now see on these other reviews that this Happie Family Store must take so long to ship that they give out bogus info to keep people from cancelling and to snow Pay pal about their deliveries, that have not happened. I hope I get this resolved and my money returned and hope Pay Pal stops working with this company, as they cannot be trusted!

Placed an order in the beginning of june for an anniversary gift for july.
It's now September and I have received nothing.
The tracking number provided - never existed.
I have sent multiple emails demanding a refund, and if they actually do reply I am given excuses and never a refund acknowledgment.
I am opening a case of fraud with my financial institution in order to rectify the refund amount.

August 15th i demanded a refund for the 5th time, I never mentioned anything about tracking (that was in my first email back in july)... this was their reply.

On September 7th I demanded a refund again...
September 9th I received a reply again with excuses.
I have attached that for viewing!

AGAIN... I warn everyone out there - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

SCAM - do not order!

Three months later and they finally sent the compass, but only because I opened a Paypal case against them. The engraving is a sticker and the compass doesn't work. It's made of trash medal and it's literally worthless. I strongly suspect I would never have even received it if I hadn't pressed the issue with Paypal.

Ordered an item for my husband for our 40th anniversary. Placed order in early June and have yet to recieve the item. I have emailed the company 4 times and have been given the run around and so many excuses. Finally asked for a full refund and haven't recieved that either! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! GAINT SCAM!

I ordered the husband wife Compass 5/22/2019. Got a confirmation of order and that I would get a tracking order as soon as it was shipped.
I have sent several requests for an update. Only received one response and they told me the tracking number had expired and I would receive a new one as soon as they found where the order was.
I requested another update and have heard nothing. I have now requested my money back immediately. I do not trust that this will happen after reading all of the other reviews. I paid a total of $64.90 which included shipping. I did not go through PayPal. I am going to contact my bank and see what can be done. I have never been scammed by an online company before.

Requested tracking... Do NOT receive one.

I ordered 5-15-19 and it is 8-23-19. I have contacted customer support several times and still no delivery and no response after the first one. There was no special inscription. I ordered it for my anniversary and looks like I'll be looking for something else. They had no problem depositing my money and I will bet there will be no refund, despite my request. Stay away from this vendor! I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT

I placed an order back on June 9th for a husband compasss. As of August 22nd I still have not received said compass. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! If I could give them a zero I would. Tried to get a refund to no avail. Can't supply photos of something I never got.

Like many of the reviews below, I ordered the compass for my husband in May for Fathers Day, They emailed me back when I asked what the estimated delivery time is, and they emailed the exact same message as the folks below. That delivery estimate is 15-25 business days. Here we are, over 3 months later and no response from the seller AND my order number is no longer recognized on their website.

UPDATE: I got my money back from Paypal. It takes some doing, but DO IT! First, take the online copy of your USPS tracking you were given as proof of delivery from Happie Family to your post office. Talk to the postmaster, they have an intranet system that will also include exactly where and when the item was delivered and has more information than what you can get online. I'll bet you find out it isn't your address. Ask them to print that for you. Upload a copy of what the USPS gave you (https://paypal.com/il/uploaddoc). Go to Paypal on Twitter - yes TWITTER. It's the only way you can bypass the PayPal algorithm that will automatically process your appeal. Send them a DM telling them that you have uploaded the USPS internal tracking and want your appeal reopened. Then send that form also to paypal to the Twitter DM. Once I did that, I had my money back in 24 hours. If we all do that we should have our money back an they will have a reason to go after Happie Family for fraud. Good luck.

Just like everyone else, the following occured:
I ordered the compass on 6/3.
It didn't arrive so I checked back with the company's website - it showed in process, then greater demand than anticipated.
I asked for a cancellation and refund when it didn't arrive by July 15.
No response.
I opened a complaint with Paypal, they asked HF for shipping confirmation, which they supplied. Only showed my city. Paypal closed complaint.
I begged them to reopen, which they did and I provided PROOF that is wasn't MY confirmation tracking, it was for another item delivered to another address in my city. Showed shipper as Newgistics. They asked HF for confirmation of delivery.
HF provided THE SAME INFORMATION, Paypal accepted it and closed my escalation.
I've been scammed like everyone else here, and it's not the money that's most infuriating, it's the fact that Paypal adheres to their algorithm for addressing complaints, and HF has figured it out to their advantage.
Happie Family and Paypal are partners in scamming the public.

I ordered the "special" compass for my husband for Father's Day in early June. I used PayPal to pay for the order. I emailed the company several times but got no response so I filed a claim through PayPal. Two days later, I received a response from Happie Family... " Dear Robin,

I know that you've been waiting for this for such a long time and now in need another gift as a replacement.
We are doing our best on our side, too, to resolve this issue as there was a big problem at the shipping service's end. All of the trackings cracked and we have thousand orders from them. The reason for not canceling is that we already produced more than 1000pcs and they are on their way to you, and your cancelation along with other customers would cause us huge loss.
We promise that the quality of the product you receive would calm you and you might want to go back and order more from us with a special coupon for you. I ordered the compass in the middle of May, in hopes of having it by father's day. I sent an email to "happie family" at the end of May because I didn't receive an order or tracking number.

They said due to high demand, there will be a delay in shipping. Fine.

August comes around... still no compass. I dispute with paypal, and somehow these idiots miraculously provide a tracking number that said it was delivered June 6. Paypal denies the refund.

I just filed another dispute with paypal since I never received the product! How does this even happen? I'm confused how they got a tracking number that said it was delivered.

Did they pay to have a piece of paper delivered and tracked by USPS? It's not the money, it's the fact I was scammed I'm really annoyed with. Any positive reviews have to be fake! Do not order from these scammers.

Like many of you I ordered the husband wife forever compass in 14 May, I queried whereit was and received a reply from them saying that due to the high demand they were behind. Hav contacted them several times since but, lo-and-behold a big fat zero! Total scumbags

Do don't order from this company. On May 25ty I ordered the husband compass. After filing disputes with both PayPal and my discover card I finally received a compass. It arrived yesterday August 26th. Totally tarnished and did not open. I have requested a refund but of course have not gotten any response from Happie Family. Do not order anything from this company. It is a total scam and the product is trash.

Bought the compass on May 15,2019 via PayPal. Company sent email confirming purchase, but then crickets for a month. Emailed company requesting status of order and was sent an automatic reply that they are sorry to inconvenience me and that they may run late from time to time with orders. Again weeks went buy and no word on the status. It is now August 8,2019 and no response to emails checking in on status, no response to asking for refund. PayPal has done nothing to help other than telling me to contact company. I'm very upset that I am out of $60, and I feel there is no action I can do now to make the company make this right. I want everyone to know, so that others do not make the same mistake of trusting this company as I did.

I am so sad

I did not see any reviews before I purchased a compass from this company. The compass was intended as a gift for my husband to celebrate our 30th anniversary and move out of state. They took my money, have not responded to any of my emails, and now that I read the reviews I am truly ticked off. Like others, my order was placed in May and I am out $65. It's not about the $$ so much as the fact that I have been duped.
