This company has a VIP plus program that's excellent but when you call haband to use the coupon that the VIP service send you the associates haven't been trained or unaware how to enter in the system this has happen to me twice and when you try to explain they hang up on you saying they have a time limit to talk and you have to call back I asked for a manager and they hung up I will be closing this account with haband and calling community bank and let them no why not fault of VIP program but terrible customer service with haband

Purchased a pant suit for my 90 year old mother to wear one time for my wedding. Since she has congestive heart failure she's gained a bit of weight and needs a larger size. I was informed to use their "prepaid" shipping label that I would be charge $9.99 to do so OR I can choose to return it another way of my choice. In other words - they do not offer free returns. Secondly she needs an XL rather than a L and they are also going to up-charge an additional $5.00 for the size. While I am willing to pay for the larger size needed the fact that this would be an EXCHANGE and NOT A RETURN is unfair to charge for this. They should be ashamed to charge for an exchange. I can also understand if this would have been a straight return to accommodate a "restocking fee" but that is not even the case here. In the end a $35.99 outfit will end up costing me close to $50.00. The thin cheap material is not worth $50.00 and I was willing to pay $35 for her to wear one time. This is turning out to be a nightmare!
I ordered two pair of pants both different styles neither fit waited to return only to find out they wouldn't return them or exchange them for a larger size. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN
I have ordered from the Haband, Old Pueblo Trader and Blair catalogues for many years and have watched the quality of their product going downhill. Tried to order online today and got their "pop up" offering "Free shipping" for giving them my email address. What the offer doesn't tell you is if you want free shipping on today's order you must wait at least 24 hours to receive a special code that you must then enter to get free shipping. Called customer service, was treated rudely by the call center (in the philippines), basically told they don't care and take my business elsewhere. Emailed customer service and was again told by email "If you didn't get the offer you were promised it's because your incapable of reading the small print and you weren't entitled to it. Wow! Taking my business to a reputable firm and will be doing everything in my power to get the word out that Haband and it's associated companies are predatory in nature, have poor quality merchandise and really don't care if you remain a customer or not!
Paid $18.99 for express shipping! Took over 14 days to receive for a Mothers Day gift! Took 6 phone calls! Only wanted to give me $6 refund on shipping.
I placed an order with Haband on 4/23/21 for a Mother's Day gift. This would give them 16 days to fill the order, ship, and deliver it. Their website states 1-2 days for order processing, 6-8 days for standard shipping. It is now 6 days later, this order has not processed or shipped. I called customer service twice, called the Bluestem Brands Inc. corporate headquarters today 4/29/21. A rep named Denise called me back, told me this order would ship out tonight and I would get a tracking email. It is now 11:38 PM central time. No email, the order has not shipped. This company is advertising for mother's day gifts. They will not get those gifts out. I tried to cancel this order, no luck, and it has not shipped. I don't think my gift will even arrive by Mother's Day. I have ordered from Haband a number of times, never had this trouble. I now see why Bluestem Brands Inc. filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in 3/2020. This company has become a real disapointment. I will never order from any company Bluestem Brands Inc. has in their portfolio again. This company has not learned from their mismanagement that led to their Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Their poor customer service, slow order fulfillment, and slow shipping out orders is beyond bad. I see them in the near future heading back to Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Forget any of the companies Bluestem Brands Inc. owns, unless you have a month or more to wait for your order, if you even get it. Go somewhere else. Walmart will have your order delivered in less than a week, with a lesser free shipping minimum.
I wound up being charged more money when trying to return a pair of irregularly made shoes and then even tho I had mailed it back to them before the return deadline, the postal service didn't deliver it to them until after the deadline and they refused to reimburse!
They sent the irregular shoes back to me and then auto-signed me up for a ridiculous $14.99 per month service to get "10% off coupons on their products and vacation travel deals" No Joke! I didn't catch that cost on my Chase credit card for several months due to helping my 85 yr old Dad with his long battle of cancer care for Stage 4 Melanoma. He was in the hospital almost dying 4 times during his cancer care. So by the time I found those charges, I called Haband & they insisted I signed up for that crap and refused to reimburse. I called Chase and Chase called Haband on my behalf.
I don't know what they said to Haband, but Chase got this crappy company to reimburse my account 100% of what they were auto deducting from my Chase credit card! I'm still out over 60.00 for those horrible irregular shoes but so happy that Chase got about $100.00 back from Haband for me.
Below are two photos showing that the right shoe is irregularly made in the toe area and as a result the inside area of whole top half of the right shoe is smaller than the left shoe so I couldn't fit my foot into into the right shoe at all. My mother has a smaller foot than me and she tried them on and it was too tight and unwearable for her also.
Ridiculous! Please stay away from this company.
On July 4, I ordered a pair of "Poplin Forever" men's pants from Haband. A few hours later, after reading the horrendous reviews of Haband and its products on this and other sites, I emailed Haband, asking that my order be cancelled and my Paypal account credited. The company replied two days later that my order was being processed and could not be cancelled. I then filed a complaint with Paypal, which concluded that there was "no basis" for my complaint, whatever that means. When the pants arrived, I found that Haband's "Poplin Forever" slacks were not poplin (a material of cotton or another natural fiber material) but instead were 100 percent polyester--and the absolute worst quality polyester and most poorly crafted pants I have ever seen. For a $9.99 flat fee, I returned the pants to Haband but filed another complaint with Paypal on the ground that the pants were not (poplin) as advertised. That complaint, I assume, is still under review with Paypal. Meanwhile Haband received the pants and billed my Paypal account for the $9.99 return fee, but has not credited my Paypal account for the return--which means I've now laid out $43.00 for a $21.00 pair of pants and no longer even have the pants. The absolute pits of a company!
I was placing an order with person who couldn't understand English very well. Had to repeat excessively. After order was taken, I was oferred additional items even after I said my order was completed, repeatedly. One out of the six clothing items ordered was in stock and in my choice of color, however the other five were either backorders
and/or color not available. I was offered a shipment program for express shipment and protection if lost. I asked if this was a common reoccurring issue with them. Now, why would I want to pay for protection for items on backorder to be expressed shipped to me if they already acknowledge shipping issues. And to top this off, I would be responsible for incorrect items shipped to me if indeed I do ever receive such orders.
Don't return anything and expect to get back the actual amount of money you paid! If you received a discount such as 20% or a discount amount for ordering multiple item, then your refund will be reduced AGAIN by that same amount, meaning you WILL NOT GET BACK THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU ACTUALLY PAID. And then when you call they lie about the amount of money that you actually paid to them for their inferior products! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY!
Scam company will take you money not send you the right products so you will have to send it back so they can charge you for it to continue getting more money from you

After a telephone conversation, I received an E-mail saying I was going to have a full refund because logically it's not FAIR OR HONEST that I WOULD PAY FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T RECEIVE.
I have only received the amount I paid for the cost of the shirts + taxes of 27.8 $. Still missing the shipping amount of 18.98 $.
IN THIS CASE THE HONEST THING WOULD BE TO HAVE THE SHIPPING AMOUNT BACK TOO.

I ordered 2 tops on sat I called Tues to see when my order will be shipped I was told that they only had 1 top and were sold out. I told them to cancel I don't want one without the other the 1st girl I spoke to said it's too late to cancel even if they havent been shipped yet I called back the 2nd person said he will cancel it I asked for a confirmation number he said it will come on my email. Didn't get an email. I called again talk to the 3rd person she said it was canceled and she'll send a email with a conf I didn't get it. Also they advertise you to take a survey after each call that's not true either. I asked where they are from they're from the phillipines from now on when I order on line if they are from the phillipines I will not order anything... after all this... I will never trust them again

THE FIRST ORDER I PLACED WITH THEM WAS FOR SOME PANTS AND THEY WERE MADE WELL AND OF A GOOD FABRIC. THE LAST ORDER I PLACED WITH WAS ALL SENT BACK BECAUSE EVERYTHING WAS SIZED INCORRECTLY. Shirts AND PANTS WERE ALL TWO SIZES TO LARGE. IT WAS A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO RETURN EVERYTHING, SO I NO LONGER. YOU JUST CAN'T TRUST WHAT YOU GET FROM CHINA ANY LONGER.
The refund check from them bounced and caused my mom to be charged a check return fee from her bank. The bank said Haband's account was frozen or blocked.
