These people are a bunch of crooks, avoid at all costs!
Using a sponsored link to look like the hotels website, bunch of predatory $#*!$#*!ers.
Let me cancel a booking and then told me there would be no refund.
This website masquerades as the hotel website. Requires prepaid reservations (in fine print) and offers 0 ability to change or cancel a reservation (not even within the first 30 seconds). It leads you to believe you are booking through an established hotel website, when in actuality you are booking through their website, which has a higher rate, and no ability to change or cancel your reservation. Customer service agents are rude and unhelpful.
Hi Shawn, Guest ReservationsTM is an independent travel network, offering reservations and exclusive deals for more than 100,000 hotels throughout the world. We understand that you were surprised to learn that Guest Reservations is not affiliated with the hotel where you made your reservation. We are sorry to learn of this misunderstanding. Guest Reservations tries to be as transparent as possible in disclosing that it is an independent travel network, which is not affiliated with any hotel. We would like to contact you directly to help with your concerns. To keep your information secure, please send us a message with your reservation # and email address used at purchase and we will respond with next steps. Thank you.
They disguise their service as if they are actually the hotel. IF you actually are able to get a room ( I did not) you will greatly overpay. Stay away from this company, their customer service is a bunch of criminals that will just run you thought multiple loops of holds you until you go away.
Hi Justin, your satisfaction as a customer is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to resolving the issue. Please contact our customer support team at customercare@guestreservations.com to help resolve your concern. Thank you.
Why do companies use deceptive practices to get customers. This company dresses their website up so it appears to be the hotel. They quote a rate for the hotel and when you confirm they increase the price by 80 percent for their fees. I called immediately once I received their email and they refused to cancel the reservation. Whether it is guest reservations.com,getaroom.com or priceline.com this is a total rip off. I immediately called my credit card company and reported the fraud and I called the hotel and reported the fraud to them as I was not going to stay in a hotel that they made the reservation for since they may try to rip me off again.

I started booking a room through this website and when it came to finalize the reservation i noticed that the fees were high, so I didn't finish the reservation. Next thing I know Im getting an email that said I had a reservation, so I immediately cancelled it only to find out it had already been charged to my card. I called customer service and was told that the charge would stand because they dont give refunds per their cancellation policy. I didnt authorize the charge but they are keeping my money anyways! This is fraud. Dont use this website ever!
Hi TracyLyn, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
Rented a room near Tampa with this company. My brother and son each rented the same type of room on the same floor through the hotel itself. Their rooms were $558 each for two nights. Guestreservations charged us $771. Be careful!

The worst hotel that i have been in they charged me 100 dollars for the damage that we would do in the room and we didnt leave nothing wrong we just sleep and i didnt get my money back they said tough luck this is not how to do business

Bilal the front desk staff went above and beyond helping us. We asked for a different room because of foul odor in room. He switched us and helped us carry luggage upstairs. I left my ear pods in the room and he returned them to me the next day. Really appreciate this young man

This is a scam website. I booked a hotel for two days and they showed the price for one day only. The price was fake. After I completed the payment I noticed that they charged double plus 106USS as service.
I still do not understand why nobody stop these people.

They charged me for a night stay I never even hit confirm for. I don't have a confirmation email or anything for the night they are charging me for but they booked the reservation and will not give the money back. The site popped up while I was on the actual resort booking. It took over my reservation window without me even realizing I was now on a third party site. I feel cheated and disgusted. I would NEVER use this site.
We’re sorry you had that experience. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we would like to help. To keep your information secure, please DM us your reservation # and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
My card was used to make a reservation here, not authorized. I learned about it the next day and called to let them know about the fraud and they cancelled it but still charged me the full amount >$330! I looked into them and it seems like they are a sneaky business.

We were driving from Wa state, on the road for several hours, booked on 3rd party website and never thought that I'd come into broken curtain that exposed privacy and then mold and dirt on shower curtains. Top it off front clerk used a paper stapler on the front curtain. (Pro work huh?) Then when my wife found mold and grease or dirt on the shower curtains. Couldn't sleep in those beds, we packed asked the manager and front clerk for a refund. They refused, saying they couldn't do it. But said our 3rd party knowing they received funds for our booking for the room. Pics show a discussed room. $150+ room. Funny when I booked a room in a different state for 85.00 I gave it a 5 star comparison to this place.

Long story short...I was booking a two night stay at what I thought was $110/night with free cancelation, clicked on to accept the room, took me to payment page, entered credit card info, didn't see the entire total until I completed the checkout process.
Transaction completed, received confirmation and saw they charged me $603.31, I went in immediately to cancel, like within one minute and they only refunded me $177.47.
So, so deceptive. I have never reserved with a third-party company such as this in my life.
I'm still fighting this thru my bank as they do not want to budge even though I canceled within a minute of seeing the total.
I will always book direct with hotel from this day forward.

I am so upset. They cleaned up the room this morning and when we came back we couldn't find our small bag of toiletries. Asked the staff for help but they couldn't do anything. I am not coming back to this hotel.

It was not clear to me this was NOT the website of the hotel itself. It was also not mentioned that my booking was non-refundable on that website. After a (very expensive) call, they still couldn't help me.
Apparently, they like taking my money and doing nothing in return.
All the good reviews I read here are about hotels, not about guest reservations themselves.

A total scam! It looks like you are dealing with the actual hotel's reservation desk but inly when you get your confirmation and realize it is $130 more than the room rate do you realize you've been had. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general's office in the state I booked in. A truly terrible business.

I would like the Springhill Suite to know that Ms. Martha was wonderful, when she couldn't get us a room(because rooms were booked), she went over and beyond to help us find a room at a reasonable rate at another nearby hotel. That's what I call customer service, going "over and beyond". Blessings to Martha and Springhill Suites
Like many others, I thought I was getting a great "last minute deal" by booking through guestreservations. It was not until AFTER I entered credit card info that a summary of charges was displayed.and it included $60 surcharge for a $116 room. I soon discovered only $13 was for taxes. The rest is the surcharge for using guest reservations. What a scam!
I went online to book a 1-night stay while traveling to St. Louis for a relative's funeral. The night rate was $144 and when I clicked "Book Reservation," I learned that I was being charged an additional $72 in booking fees (a whopping 50% surcharge).
Thanks Priceline/GuestReservations.com!
I immediately canceled that reservation so I could book directly through the hotel, then was told the reservation was non-refundable (even 5 days before the stay) and that I was out the full $216.
That's a scam and a very bad customer experience. I'll never use Priceline or GuestReservations.com again, and would strongly advise anyone else to avoid them as well.
Hi John,
We're sorry your Guest Reservations experience didn't meet your expectations. We take customer satisfaction seriously and want to help every traveler have a great experience.

We always disclose all fees and tax recovery charges prior to booking and require customers to confirm the total amount.

The website impersonates hotel website, add substantial surcharge. We cancellation few minutes after booking and realizing that the website doesn't belong to the hotel, but they wouldn't refund. We asked to reinstate the reservation since we were not getting refund and they wouldn't do it either. Horrible customer service. Its impossible to speak to a manager to escalate. Avoid this website. Big scam!

Answer: I feel your pain. What's sad is that this company is an affiliate of Expedia
Answer: Literally the same. Hope you get reimbursed! Good luck!
