They advertise to help us through COVId yet charge high fees to both customer and restaraunt. They do not help anyone but them selves and rode the nitch though this pandemic.
I was charged two times on the same day for the same meal from Grubhub. When I called the phone number that the restaurant provided to me, I got someone in Mexico who could not speak English. I called the restaurant back and was provided a second phone number and again, I got someone in the Phillipines and again, could not understand the person. Did not speak English. ARE YOU KIDDING. How dare you steal from myself or anyone for that matter. You have bad reviews for a reason. You stole from the wrong person.
I have used this service 3 times, and they managed to screw up my food order all 3 times. First time: I received someone else's food order. Second time: I received half of my order (half was left sitting on the counter at the restaurant and I had to call the restaurant to correct the situation myself- Grub Hub customer service did not take any action on their own). Third time: Order was delivered to the wrong address (not even close to me). In all 3 cases, the ONLY resolution offered was a full refund (customer service could not order a replacement). On the last order, it was too late to place a second (replacement) order due to the restaurant operating hours. And if that was not bad enough, the hold music for Grub Hub customer care is absolutely mind-numbing. I called and was left on hold for 23 minutes, so I hung up and called back and got an answer within 30 seconds... not a very good performance average... Conclusion: Don't waste your time with Grub Hub. Use another food delivery service and save yourself a lot of grief (an lost lunch hours).
A $100 dollar order, many items missing or wrong. After an hour they can only credit, instead of just immediately fixing the issue. Pizza places have been doing this for decades. Missing items? Sorry sure we'll get those right to you.
Nope. I had to do a $#*!ing reconciliation on the receipt with the CS rep on the phone. To get a $#*! credit.

1st they called and said they would be 30 min late. Next I go on the app to check the status, it said it was delivered. So I called, only to find out my order was canceled. So unprofessional, I will never use them again!
Family and I ordered through grubhub to a local place. Delivery driver took a while, but finally arrived with our food. As we were checking the order, half of it was not there. Contacted the driver and he said that there was nothing that he could do and to contact grubhub directly. Due to the Covid-19 virus, my family tries to stay within the guidelines and not go out unless absolutely necessary. Contacted the establishment and they said that they were closing in 20 minutes, I live 30 minutes away. By the luck of the draw i was able to get there before they closed. This was completely the opposite of what I wanted to do with my night, but I have hungry kids and have to feed them. Bottom line: I had to drive to get my own food anyway, had an hour and a half wasted after the original order got to my house, had to pay for parking and gas, and to top everything off, the manager of the establishment said that grubhub was straight garbage and doesn't know why anyone would use them. THIS IS COMING FROM THE MANAGER. Just a compete and total waste of time and money, do not use them if you don't have to.
Four times now they have had to give me a refund because they never have any drivers. So they end up canceling the order and I am just sitting here waiting on my food and they end up canceled because there's no driver's. This place sucks!
I placed my order at 10 am and scheduled it for pick up at 2 pm. I got two messages that the delivery was delayed, but coming. I texted the driver to find out the reason for the delay and I got a text from GRUBHUB stating that my order was cancelled and fully refunded. I called the restaurant to see if they could explain what happened and they stated the delivery driver tried to pay for the food using the card provided by the company and the card DECLINED TWICE! They need new management.
On 7-16-2020 at approximately 6:50 pm I ordered from Panda Express located at (******* Merle Haggard Dr. Bakersfield CA) the driver manipulated the system so that he or she could steal my food. I never received a text informing me that my order was being prepared. I never received a text informing me that the driver was on the way. I never received a text informing me that my food was delivered. The driver never revealed his contact information so I could not call and inquire about my order. It was a waste of time and money! I was not compensated for the time I wasted nor did Grubhub offer to re-deliver the food that their driver had stolen from me. So disappointed
Did not realize Grubhub was the delivery service for this restaurant (not disclosed). Driver refused to drive up the driveway and demanded I drive down to pick up the food. Grubhub cancelled the order saying the drive4 had an emergency, which was a lie. Said they would refund the charge to my card within 7-10 days (really?). In the future, iI will ask if the restaurant uses Grubhub, and if so, I will choose another restaurant. Amazing they are still in business...
GrubHub is not the worst delivery I have ever gotten. But it's far from the best. Most of the time if, I order just a combo of this or that from some restaurant. You can do just fine using GrubHub. It's when you start to add on the small stuff that things start to get messed up. Like today I ordered from KFC and in that order, I was 1 Crispy Colonel Combo Extra Crispy, w/ Cole Slaw, Iced Tea

Well, when I got my order there was no Honey Mustard Sauce and instead of an iced tea, they sent me what tastes like a Coke could have been Pepsi.
Well, when I sent a text to the delivery driver and asked if she had checked my order because my Honey Mustard Sauce was missing and that they had given her a soda, not ice tea. The delivery driver replayed sorry about that. They don't allow us to check the orders. But I did ask if they had gotten everything.
Now I would like to know-how in the world large companies like GrubHub would not allow an order to be checked before they make the delivery. It only makes sense that they would have their drivers check the order to make sure the order is correct. So that their customers are pleased with their service and would be willing to order from them again.
At least I can say that when I call GrubHub customer service, they did give me a refund of my order for almost half do to the fact that my ice tea was part of a combo meal. But they should still allow for the orders to be checked before they leave the restaurant.
We had ordered food at 7, only to get the cancellation email at 9:40. The driver had no record of the order, either did the restaurant. After a call to GrubHubs customer service, and a very unsatisfactory call, they gave a 20% off of the next order. AS IF we would order again from a service that takes hours to deliver, if at all.
Horrible service overall. Go to door dash or Ubereats.
No idea when food was arriving. No notifications. Nothing. Had to call restaurant to ask. Said food left and was on the way. Was not notified. First time I've used GrubHub and it will certainly be the last! If I could give zero stars I would. Refused a redelivery for an incorrect order (I ordered a cheese pizza and got a pepperoni instead... I'm a vegetarian)and was also told I could not get a refund. Customer service was rude and not helpful in any way. I was offered a 20% credit on the item which would be $3.
I was getting a delivery from a restaurant. The driver came up along-side my truck and pushed past a small tree and I said to her "I wish you hadn`t come through there. She said the sprinklers were on, on the other side of the truck by the gate. Than she said I should have put that in my "Special " instructions. I said "I didn`t think I had too. She then handed me my food and walked back down the other side of the truck where the water was on. I said "Don`t get wet". She turned and said "F_ck -You". I asked "what did you say?" she said you heard me {swore again"}. I called her work and they let me speak to a supervisor. She asked what happened? After I explained what happened I got the impression that I was wrong! And she was exonerated.
I'd give negative stars if I could. I've ordered with them twice and both times they screwed up. The first time the driver forgot our drink, and the second they changed the total I was charged. A $10 off coupon was applied at checkout, and it showed my total for me to confirm, but when I clicked Placed the Order the total changed and the coupon was not applied. Both times customer service was a joke. Never had any problems with Uber Eats. I'll stick with them from now on.
Ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken fried rice. There was very little white meat, predominately dark meat. I would not order from them again
They take your order you pay for it get a confirmation number have delivery time 20 minutes they send you a text they have canceled you order no Explanations just that's it's cancel. This has happen three times. Customer service is nonexistent
I ordered at 10:45pm and expected delivery went from 11:20pm to 11:45pm to 12am to 12:20am to 12:30am UNBELIEVABLE! And then I finally get in contact with an agent being all sympathetic until to find out they stop delivering at 12am. Was asked if they should cancel the order. Um, DO I HAVE A CHOICE? And then this takes 5 days to get back in your account. Boycott grub hub. Stick with door dash. I only wanted to use this gift card I got. If any body wants it I am willing to give it away. That's how bad this service was.
Ordered my food and was told 1 hour. Then it bounced back and forth adding an hour until the delivery time was just unreasonable. I called and got a refund. But they hadn't even ordered my food until 1 hour after I placed it.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
