I ordered a Groupon for a massage that the provider made impossible to redeem. After speaking with Groupon, they agreed to give me an exchange credit. Unfortunately, I had to use it within 24 hours and there was NOTHING I could find that was a decent deal for the same price. So now I'm just out the money.
Just don't waste your time or money with these people.
If I could put a - I would. Over two weeks ago I received a radiator cover that looked as though it had been dragged all the way here. I contacted them to inform then that there were no parts to assemble it and the outside of the box was battered. They were completely useless. Every time I was put through the the management team who were equally, if not worse than the first person I was on chat with. I asked them to call me and this service was not available? They asked me to send a copy of the manual, I did. 8 days later still no parts and they then ask me to send the parts I required! I explain this was started on the manual, so all of them! There were No parts but trying explain this was like pulling teeth! Talking to Groupon is like listening to my 6 year old daughter arguing with Siri on my iPhone. And why do they not have review page? Funny that. I'll be deleting my account and will never use them again. Im £40.00 down and they boil my... trying to speak with them.
Groupon is getting a lot of negative press lately but anytime I've had an issue with a voucher they have always gone above and beyond to remedy it. The only issue I have with Groupon is that they are sending too many emails on a daily basis and some of their deals are simply put, a joke. Overall tho, they are fine save the mass emailing and funky stipulations on some of their deals.
I bought a $24 Groupon this morning, supposedly good on Saturdays (today is Sat), for Benichopsticks restaurant in McMurray. Restaurant refused to honor it. I got home and got on Groupon's website, but there is no customer service on weekends apparently. After reading many other reviews of Groupon on other websites, I'm pretty sure they will never refund my money. If you give your money to Groupon, it is gone- you might as well answer one of those emails from "Nigerian government officials" who are offering to split $50 million with you if you only give them access to your savings account.
I have found a FEW room rates that saved us some dollars. This past year there were a couple that we found and liked very much. I had to do some work to find the deals and then purchase them so it would have been much easier to just book them straight with the business. On the NEGATIVE side I purchased a couple of services that just did NOT work out. One business wanted to charge me a lot more so I did not use the coupon and it seems that Groupon is keeping my money. This is not the way to keep your customers happy and is far from my expectations. Be very careful when dealing with Groupon and be sure to read all of the disclaimers and links, then keep copies of these documents. If it does not work out expect that you will not have a recourse and they will make the decision not to refund your money. Making a purchase for a room within a few days may work in your benefit and I may try it again.
Bliizzard - State of emergency closed down NYC. I could not get into the city because mayor closed all streets to traffic and Broadway cancelled all shows. Broadway said pick another date. Groupon and the Jewel Facing Rockefeller Center said to bad sucker we don't care and we are not going to help you at all. $166.00 down the drain. I never asked for money back just a different date to go into the city and hotel. I should have looked at Groupon overall rating before doing business with them. No wonder their financials are so bad.
The only way i feel i can rate groupon would be minus 100! They are a shocking company and i simply cannot understand how they are still trading. I ordered a bed on the 14th of January, groupon advised 5-7 days delivery, after the 7 days i contacted groupon and have been doing so every day since ( receiving the same answer everytime, there must be a problem as in the item was damaged in transit), i received an email today stating the courier tried to deliver and no one was home so please wait another 5-7 days. I decided to contact the courier who told me they dont even have the item in the first place!
What an absolute joke this company is, i have now passed the situation over to my bank who are refunding my money back to me, i would never deal with groupon again and would advise other potential customers to do the same however good the offer may seem!
Do not trust. Dont believe the reviews they clearly pay spam farms to leave. Fraudulent cowboys.

I signed up for a yoga groupon and could not get ahold of the yoga studio to go. I called, emailed and even went to the address on their website but it turned out the address was a frame store! I emailed Groupon customer service who said they would "reach out" but we never got a reply from the studio. I asked for a refund but it only came in "groupon bucks" which are useless to me now since I already signed up for another yoga studio. Groupon doesn't appear to validate the legitimacy of their locations so be careful cause you won't be able to get a refund.
I had ordered light up flowers for my mom for mother's day. She thought they were beautiful. They worked for about a week.
Because of covid, I was unable to go there before yesterday to see the product. The battery pack leaked and corroded the battery. They lost me as a customer and everyone I know will not purchase any crap from Groupon anymore.
Everything I have ordered came to me exactly when they said it would. I have ordered at least 20 times with them. All the dates have been spot-on. People, you don't get your stuff right away. Period. But you should already know that when you buy from them. But when you get soemthing that is 70%, it's worth the wait. As for their customer service, it is existing. No phone numbers, but every email I have written to them, they have responded immediately with an automatic-response email that says we will contact you in 24-48 hours and you guessed it, they did. They're a great website people, come on. Work with them a little. You're getting the best stuff at almost 70% off! And yes, everything I ordered was perfect. I loved it all. Thank you Ideeli. Purchased a refurbished surface 2 which has a 90 day warranty. Pulled it out of the box and plugged it in and it does not stay charged. Emailed the warranty department two times in two days, and still have not received a response. I will never purchase anything from Groupon again. This was a 216.00 mistake.
The team that handles the the sales for Groupon Works and the team that handles issues related to it, are the most arrogant, unwilling to help people I have encountered in advertising companies. This people will try to justify each others mistakes at all cost. Is there any justification for putting an add out with your cell phone number on it and your business address in another state? Also the editing person needs to go on Adderal. She writes adds that don't speak about the business at all, she puts main focus on the owners personal Bio ( who left the business). When I asked her to please make a correction, she re-writes the same exact thing all over again. In another freaking State! Unbelievable!
I finally stopped shopping from them. Initially, they weren't so bad but over the past year, every item I have bought from them has been defective. I bought a watch in Dec 2012 that stopped working by March. I recently had the time to take it in, thinking it was the battery to find out it is completely broken and it would cost me more than the price of the watch to get it fixed. Every single item I've bought from them has ended up falling apart in no time -- a complete waste of money.

I ordered a coupon for a Christmas tree which was to be delivered to my house. I confirmed the delivery time, gave them 2 contact numbers to reach me regarding the delivery and waited more than 6 hours. They did not deliver as promised and did not call. When I tried to reach the vendor (Five Star Christmas Trees) I received a message saying they had completed deliveries and were no longer answering the phone. I have received no reply to my complaints to Five Star or Groupon
Groupon advertised beautiful 10 CTTW amethyst earrings and I was excited to receive them. When I got them I could barely see them. Groupon mailed me a 1 CTTW combined pair of earrings. Time lapsed because of my schedule. Spoke to manager and he did nothing to help. Still disgusted over false advertisement to lure you into buying their items. Was a faithful customer... Not anymore. Will not buy Anything from Groupon. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
I purchased a carpet cleaning deal from Atlantic Oceans Carpet Cleaning on Groupon. They did a terrible job! Carpet looked like it had hardly been cleaned. Called Atlantic Carpet and was spoken to very rudely by the owner. He cut me off and informed me he was with his son at a doctors appointment. What? Am I not calling you on your business phone? I told him his tech was in and out in less than 30 minutes and the carpet cleaning looked it! I used a wet washcloth on some of the stains he missed and easily got them out. This owner, however, was not interested in what I had to say. He told me to call him back the next morning. I don't think so... if you speak that rudely to all of your customers I don't think you will get ANY repeat business. Going to a reputable carpet cleaning service that knows how to clean carpet and offer good customer service. I intend to share with all of my friends my experience with this crummy company!
This is the second time I have purchased items, then a few days later I get an email that they have run out. This is inexcusable, how hard is it to have a quantity at the beginning of a sale and then stop when they are all sold! I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
Groupon is very reputable, especially in comparison to the many copycats on the market. There reputation enables them to offer deals with better vendors. I especially like their customer service. They responded quickly and, when I explained that I let some certificates expire without being used, they quickly refunded the money. Thanks.
Well I have tried to purchase items from Groupon, order services and online items. Other than one online item the rest have been either of such poor quality, or the site doesn't work or something... 40 min on hold to have someone say well we can give you Groupon credit... I am sorry that doesn't cut it. Once, even twice is okay but it is the norm to have below average and below quality, then it is about a company that doesn't care about the item, just the money it gets from it! I will never order from them again. I guess the old adage is true "you get what you pay for". Shop around locally you can get the same thing...
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
