I have not received my stuff its still in process mode....so I tried cancelling since it has not been shipped, no tracking number, noting...I was told that I could not get a refunded the way I paid, through my credit card. So they offered me only two options, Groupon bucks or they would order the product again free of charge?? HELLO, what the heck!!...She stated once it was shipped they could not refund payment, I asked for the tracking number and she could not give me one because there is not one YET!!! so why cant I get my money back!!! through so many back and forth chats, there is literally no options. So guess I will wait to see if I ever get my items. Once done, I am closing this Groupon BS account!! BEWARE of their deceptive practices
We are clients of Groupon and have been for a few years. They are a great partner of our marketing group! We have found that the service charge for advertising deals and getting our name out there is so much more cost effective with Groupon than any other format. Yes you might make less profit, BUT everybody is looking for a deal these days, so Groupon is there first stop.
Again, we are very impressed by them and the effort they put in to help you create the best package for your company!
I haven't bought a Groupon in 2 years. Why? Because of their customer service. It's probably a reflection of how they had to grow so quickly but I had 2 businesses not fulfill their Groupon promise and Groupon's customer success team said, "Not our fault." Well, I disagree. But... you can still find some great deals, just BEWARE. 3 stars.
I placed an order at the beginning of March 2015. It is now April 1! (I have not received any notification/emails since placing my order, btw.) I was however, charged for my order, which was reflected on my bank account as of yesterday. Ideel policy states that you will NOT be charged for your order until it ships... WRONG! I have contacted customer service through email and am awaiting response. My suggestion, save yourself the hassle, time and headache of having to track/follow up on your orders.
At times I think this is a great site, but often it turn into an overtly consumer driven push to buy junk that you don't need. That said, if you are already looking to buy a product or service and the right deal hits at the same time, it's fantastic.
Horrible customer service. Bought an airport parking voucher. Make you view it in order to make a reservation. Once I clicked through to Peachy Parking, the actual cost was over $10 less on their site. GroupOn CS says - "too bad so sad!" you viewed it so it is not refundable.
A small business killer. Groupon lies in order to attract businesses to offer deals that are 50% off. The clients that purchase these deeply discounted coupons are far from the ideal clients small businesses want to attract. They are basement bargain hunters only and will not come back (even if the service or products are excellent) unless the business offers another groupon, they rarely tip on the full price, and are just basically bottom feeders. Groupon may be great for the customer but it is horrible for the business, which is losing money just by offering the deal.
I wish groupon cared about their customers as much as money. It's almost like the find pleasure in stealing from customers! I will never use groupon again for as long as I live. If they just updated their refund policy and "fine print" then they would likely have a loyal customer base, but obviously the owner didn't get past 3rd grade and doesn't know a thing about business.
Awesome experience with Carrie. I came in with a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and man she just copied it perfectly! She also gave me some advice on how I could make my hair healthier and tips on brushes to use and techniques that most stylist will not give out. Wonderful person too she genuinely wants to make you happy when you leave. Great Groupon price and excellent customer service.
Bought a groupon good as a gift for my grandchild's birthday present who lives in another state. Groupon forwarded my billing address to the shipper instead of the the shipping address I provided. The service rep told me it happens do to their system but it's my fault because I didn't catch the error sooner and now they can't fix it, even though it hasn't shipped. All they are willing to do is refund my money after they receive the item back.
I was terrified after I made my first purchase from Ideeli and then read this site. I was like what in the world did I get myself into.
Well:
(1) It states on their website next to every purchase made that the item will not schedule to ship for approximately 3-4 weeks after purchase.
(2) It states you will be charged upon receipt of the order placement and shipment is scheduled to depart their warehouse.
(3) Shipping states to allow another 7-10 business days
They far exceeded those expectations. I received my order 7 business days after ordering it! The item was perfect; in its original packaging.
I am not stating this site is perfect. I am sure it has its fair share of issues. However, I do think that people do not read what the site says and then get angry because they don't receive their product for 2 months (which according to their site is all they promise, no more no less).

I bought a dress from this website... What a disappointing experience so far.
At first, I was hesitant to purchase from it cause it look to good to be true... I thought the shipping and handling was expensive, but I said what the hell... I purchase my item last month and still has not arrive... I been keeping an eye on the tracking number,... I even purchase something from eBay two weeks later since my purchase from ideeli and Ebay arrived today... status on tracking number seems to be stuck god knows where... Chat room asked me that it was in transit. They did not specify exactly the day of arrival... Message from USPS says the same thing for over 5 days... People do not buy anything from ideeli.com... they suck at customer service... I have been in marketing for several years never in my life experience anything like this... I will spread the word with family and friends beware people

A purchase from Groupon showed up on my card while I was asleep one night for something I don't use. When I reached out to Groupon a few hours later to get the fraudulent charge removed they said nothing we can do. You probably ordered it on accident which I didn't and there is nothing we can do. Their reply was read the fine print there are no refunds *%$&@ I didn't order it what part of that do you not understand how could I read the fine print of something I never ordered. Absolutely no help at all even after forwarding to their escalation team. Be careful when using Groupon if a charge shows up on your account you did not make there is no protection for you.
I purchased 3 concert tickets for SWV, JODECI, & DRU HILL in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Groupon charged me twice for the same seat. Not sure how that happened. I had to purchase a ticket at the venue. I reached out the next day, I also contacted my bank. Groupon will not refund me my money back. I sent copies of the tickets and my bank records as proof and they keep giving me the run around. This is my first and last time buying anything from Groupon.
I take care of most of shopping by online and this is one of my favorite sites. I often compare pricing on same product by different online shopping sites, and ideeli usually offers the same item at the lowest price. Their shipping turnaround time is not the fastest and inconsistent but I'm not in hurry of getting these items anyway. So I can deal with slower shipping time. Overall, it's a cool website and they do give courtesy credit when their shipment gets delayed.

The post office requires me to have 3 addresses for one place. If it ships fed ex or ups I have to wait 2 extra days to go thru post office, if I cold choose carrier I could select proper address and get it on time for what i paid for and if sent via post office its 2 weeks or more if the package shows at all. In conclusion the post office sucks around here, nor should a government agency be competing with ups or fed ex. I will not shop with groupon until they let me choose my own carrier especially when I'm paying for it.
I bought two sets of Christmas lights from Touch of Eco in September. I but them up in December and they worked for a few days then died.
Since it was beyond the return time they won't do anything about this. Two sets both don't work.
If you get ripped off as I did by a company, Groupon doesn't allow on-line reviews. They only have a compilation of reviews they choose. So, you can't tell others to avoid the said products. Additionally, they solicit a review via email for everyone, so the autopilot people make even the worst company's have a 70% positive review. Or maybe some reviews are given for free products. Anyways, they create to artificial market place where everything seems positive, until you get RIPPED OFF. Amazon is so much better at this.

I've bought a product from Groupon and never received it. They keep escalating my issue to the third party which refuses to solve it and says that I have to wait 45 days for a claim. Not worth the stress.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.

As you noted, we do not bill your credit card until your order has shipped. If you have been billed for your order, it means the package is probably in transit. You would have been notified by e-mail as soon as we had a tracking number for the package, and the e-mail would have been itemized for the item or items that were shipped and billed. If you have not received an order confirmation e-mail from when you placed the order, nor a shipping confirmation e-mail when the order shipped the other day, this could indicate a problem with our e-mail communication.
If you could message me back with your order number, or your e-mail address, I’d be more than happy to look into what went wrong with those notifications. If my customer service team has not already resolved the issue for you, I will look into it personally.
