I told them, that I will let them to keep my money on Groupon account only if they will pay me 25% interest I am paying to my credit card, they refused, but said, that I should not worry and I can use my Groupons money at any time even if I don't want to, they don't care.

THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL ASKING FOR SPECIFICS SO I TOLD THEM AND NO RESPONSE. I AM OUT $128 AND NO TICKETS AND NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE. I WILL NEVER USE THIS AGAIN. THOUGHT I WAS GETTING A DEAL. Careful purchasing from Groupon. Groupon does NOT verify whether a business is legitimate before advertising and marketing the business. I purchased a Groupon for a massage, went to the stated location, and learned that there was no such Massage business there. The address was owned by a Democratic Political party. I informed Groupon of this and also said the business had 3 other people come the week before on a Saturday looking for the same massage business. Groupon knew the business was possibly non-existent and complaints were coming in yet Groupon continued to advertise for them for a whole week at the very least (maybe more). When I told Groupon the address belonged to a Democratic Political office they asked if I wanted to still use my voucher. They said the merchant had confirmed 6 days earlier that they were in business. Groupon also gave me the same address that I went to and was fraudulent. I'm so disappointed in Groupon and the lack of customer service. I Asked to speak to a supervisor who said the same thing that the first rep said. The surpervisor tried to assure me the business had verified they are accepting the Groupon and then gave me the same fraudulent address. I asked are you not listening to me? I'm here for my appointment and I'm telling you this is not an address belonging to Green Land Spa (massage place). Worse customer service ever! Groupon doesn't care.
I bought a cleaning service. They didn't have availability for over a MONTH! DAMN RIPPOFF! Then when I immediately tried to get a refund on the same day I purchased the service, I was given "Groupon Bucks". They wouldn't refund my card!

I bought a Groupon to learn American Sign Language. Every time (Like 7-8 times) I tried to use it, it sent me in circles and wouldn't let me use it. Do not fall for the statement Groupon makes saying you can buy now but get a refund within 3 days of purchase. This is a lie! I tried to get a refund within 2 days, I was asked a barrage of questions why I wanted it and then told they won't refund it but would turn it into a credit for another groupon or give the current one as a gift. I placed an order with Groupon... not my first. An hour later, I found the same item for much cheaper elsewhere. Went to the Groupon website to cancel my order. I received an Order Confirmation with Order Number from Groupon by email. Clicked on the link they provided to "Cancel My Order". When I got to the website - my order was not listed. I tried to call - but the recording said basically "they are too busy to answer the phone". So, I used the Chat feature. After 45 minutes of "chatting" where I provided EVERYTHING - my order number, the credit card I used - I even scanned and emailed a copy of my Credit Card statement showing the Pending Charges from Groupon. They just could not find my order and told me they would contact me if they found it. This morning, I get an email saying they found and it "thank you for your order". They did not even cancel it! Now, I have to spend another hour trying to get in touch with them to actually cancel the order! So amateur I couldn't imagine ever shopping with them again! Poor, poor service.

I had a really bad experience with Groupon in my business. Having worked with many advertisers I am familiar with the mistakes they can make in preparing advertising text and graphics. When I signed up for Groupon, I specifically confirmed that I would be able to work with the copywriters on what we do best to portray our business positively and accurately. Groupon called me two days before they set the date for our ad to run, and running a restaurant, there is not much time for desk work in two days. I told them I had never even seen the copy. Once they finally got it to me I found many errors. They even tried to write about things we didn't have! They refused to change anything in the two day time period. I told them I needed to approve what they wrote about us in order to run the deal. They said if I didn't agree to run the deal as is and on the day they picked, they would never run it. So be it. I don't respond well to threats. They were pushy, pompous and could care less about the businesses they are advertising. All they want is their cut.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
