Houndstooth Grill in Braselton was simply awful. The waitress whoever was super nice. First, the restaurant used flood lights in the huge, beautiful chandelier. At our request, the waitress dimmed the lights. Yet, some other person must have requested the diner lights again. As for meal - it was terrible. Just terrible.
I couldn't redeem $194.00 worth of coupon so I just lost it. And, I tried to get Groupon customer support help before expiration. But wait... there is no customer support. That is an oxymoron! Groupon s--ks!
Groupon's great until you have a problem. Paid £150 for a mattress 3rd November. I asked for my money back 27th December as I still hadn't received the mattress 2 months after ordering. Groupon agreed to refund but I am still waiting 5 months after paying for the mattress. Groupon have emailed numerous times promising to 'escalate my case' again and get the refund processed but I am just being fobbed off. I am now going to have to make a claim from my credit card company. Shame as I had used Groupon loads of times before and used to check it every day. Just another massive company out for all they can get :(
Their customer services improved since my last review. They were able to resolved the issue I had but they only credited back to my groupon account instead of reimburse me. That is fine for me since I used the credit for KK DONUTS.
There is no real savings with Groupon. I and my wife went to Fig and Olive as a couple ended up paying $160 with the tip. Where is the saving? You are only allowed to have one dessert and second desert is $12.00, one appetizer second one $10.00 and they allow you $12.00 for wine and liquor and glass of wine is $12.00. I far as I am concern, this is marketing trick, I wouldn't call a scam, show a discount rate and hit him with exorbitant add-on.
They false advertised flights and accommodation. And when we went to cancel i had to speak to 5 people and the situation wasn't even resolved i had to go to the bank and get them to get my money back. While talking to one of the costumer service people i couldnt believe what they said to me. Instead of just saying ill give me a refund the rude lady said "cant you borrow money of family members". I have not been so shocked in my life that someone would say that. What type of service is this!..
I purchase a drone and it came to my with two of the four propellers not working and the camra did not work. So I asked for a refund, now I am in an email battle with their so call customer support. They keep sending me to the murchant who has been unresponsive! I think group is the murchant and they should refund my purchase, if they want to represent bad bussness that is their issue, I want a refund and should be able to get it since the product does not function... Bad bad bad service
Ordered things online, they said there is an issue, I cant even find their email address or phone number on their website, they keep suggesting I use the online chat, but they dont send me a link for it and i cant find it on the website, I cant even contact them.
I am obsessed with Groupon. I get on at least 3 times a day and receive all emails and notifications from them. This site is a great site to find the best things at discounted prices. And regardless of how much money you have, who are we kidding... EVERYONE LOVES A DISCOUNT!
I was a very good Ideeli customer until I received notice that I would have to pay for the privelege of seeing their full offering of merchandise. Whuuuu? Granted the fee was very nominal compared to the thousands of dollars I spent on apparel and home goods, but why would anyone PAY TO SPEND THEIR MONEY? I've switched to haute look.com (who I believe delivers via pony express; be warned). No fee, same great discounts and the merchandise is every bit as nice if not nicer. (And you can speak to actual humans on the telephone.) Let me know if you change that policy, Ideeli, and I'll visit your website again.

Unaware that I had two GroupOn accounts, I bought a service for $64.00, in which GroupOn charged BOTH accounts. It cancelled on the one account I knew about without notifying me. I saw that it said it was refunded, but clearly it WAS NOT! So, for a month I tried to get my money back and after calling and emailing paypal and GroupOn multiple times I find out that they ended up charging another account under an old email of mine. So, to make a long story short, that old account should of NEVER been charged in the first place seeing I don't use it. Plus, I made the purchase under a different account, so how the Hell did the second account get charged?! I've made it my mission to tell people to never use GroupOn and to just go thru the company they're trying to get the service from and ask them to honor the GroupOn amount, rather the full amount like I do.
I purchased groupons before the shut down. I contacted groupon to recieve a refund due to needing the money due to circumstances have changed. Instead of helping me they offered me bucks. I will no longer use groupon and I have used them over 3 years.
Groupon is a good site and they have great deals. That said, if you have a problem with a vendor, they usually take the venders side and make it very difficult to get satisfaction. I have also found that some times they do not vet their venders. I have had 2 experiences where the vender was scamming both them and their customers.
I reserved a room at the Omni Riverwalk in San Antonio, Tx. The picture on the Groupon showed the Riverwalk and said minutes to riverwalk. Not only am I not on the Riverwalk I am 20 mins. AWAY from the riverwalk. I will never buy another groupon again.

I have had multiple issues with this site and thought at last the issues had been resolved, but they keep happening. Where do I begin? First of all, a dormant site which had not been used in a year was opened when I logged in (not by any prompting of mine) and then placed an order not realizing it was my "real" account. The account was closed after I received the order and alerted customer service I wanted to return the items. However, when I sent the dresses back, they sent them back to me as I don't have access to re-print the return label anymore.
Also, I was just charged an additional $9.00 for shipping on one item that was backordered and should have been shipped on the initial order. Now I feel I have to go back and check each order to see if I have been double/triple billed on the shipping charges!
Get it together Ideeli! Giltgroupe charges $5.95 for shipping all the time, once per order!

I really love this site and have bought a number of things (multiple dresses, a shopping coupon, underwear, sunglasses, etc.) Shipping can take a bit but it has told me everytime when I purchased something expected date. The deals can't be beat and all of my co-workers are now shoping on the site as well. They had a delay on some of my items but nothing that wasn't manageable and they gave me a credit for the inconvience. I'm sorry to seee it getting such poor reviews but I love it!

Ordered a gift which was delivered weeks late. No problem, it happens. The issue is the return process. Sent info to get refund and return product. Received email stating needed email address for return label. Sent information again. Received email asking if in original box unused. Again sent information. Recieved email asking for email address, again sent information. Recieved email saying label sent ti email, look in spam and will not resend. There was NO label sent! Month later no refund, no label just disappointment, frustration and anger at groupon! Was a long time customer, first return, never again.
I had a problem accessing a purchase. This is a problem I caused myself by having 2 separate accounts. I contacted their cusotmer service, received the automatic response and immediately the next day received an email asking for more information to assist me further. Another email was exchanged and the problem was recified immediately. I am extremely pleased with the way this issued was handled and will be more than pleased to do business with them again.

Say you purchase a Groupon for a hair salon or a house cleaning service only to find out the business provides substandard service to Groupon holders, does not offer the service anymore or the business closed, then you are out of your money because Groupon refunds in Groupon Bucks and you are forced to find another service with the same results. It's very difficult to reach customer service at Groupon, and when you do is long and cumbersome.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
