I have 2 pieces of clothing that I had been waiting to hear from Ideel about. All of a sudden they are now Groupon and now telling me that basically I am stuck with these items. The problem was they were both the wrong sizes and I was waiting to hear if they had the correct sizes. Now what do I do? I was a loyal customer and spent thousands of dollars on this site! Now I am out money because I was patiently waiting for a response. I cannot afford to throw away $$*******@comcast.net
For me, I have had good experience so far. At first it wasn't that great but the CS has improved so far and they are good now. The products are great at great prices. Will def. Buy again. Thank you Ideeli.
I couldn't login to my account. Pooor customer support.
First of all i was unable to buy particular deal and approached custpmer service they had no idea whats going on. And one day they disabled my account without notifying. I lost my money. Luckily it was small amount. Cannot trust this. Do not expect service like amazon. Big headache to a schedule appointment for spa and facials.
I ordered a voucher for comic book headquarters never received anything it says that the code is invalid I've contacted Groupon and also comic book headquarters and have not gotten no answers or different excuses I want a refund and no one will help me
I bought my boyfriend a very nice watch from Groupon for Christmas. I was so excited, but when I opened up my package it was some cheap watch case. My invoice said some Brittain Hill and shipped to me. I called Groupon expecting them to fix it. Maybe not on time which sucked, but ok. NO, the want me to ship what I got back, and then refund my money. Only the refund wasn't until they got the product that was shipped to me by mistake. So not only is it three days away from Christmas, and I have no gift. I also am shorted out the money I was able to spend on him.
I bought a $30 dree from ideeli and was charged $10 for shipping. When the dress arrived it did not appear as the photo showed. When I went online to get my return lable from ideeli I learned I would have to pay $10 for their return shipping if I did not want a credit. I spent $40 and am being refunded $20 for a dress they did not present correctly. The material was nothing like it looked online. Very disappointing.
Hi Adriann,
Thanks for giving us your feedback here on SiteJabber. The original $9.95 shipping charge for your first order is only charged on this order and then you receive the next 30 days of orders with free shipping. If you choose to have a refund go back to your credit card then an $8.95 return shipping fee is deducted. That being said, if the item doesn't look like what was advertised, our customer service representatives will be happy to issue you a special return label that waives the return shipping fee. You can always contact one of our representatives via email at support@ideeli.com or through Live Chat (link here: https://support.ideeli.com/app/chat/chat_launch). Our agents are available 7 days a week and will be happy to help resolve any issues if you reach out to them in the future.
Please send me a message with your order number Return Authorization number for this return. Once you provide this information, I'll be happy to issue you a return label for a full refund of the item, with the return shipping fee waived. I look forward to hearing back from you and resolving this.
Best regards,

Do not use groupon. It's been a nightmare with talking to customer service. It's nice when all is going well but if you ever get hacked they will cancel your account and not get back to you. They tell you that they will investigate but never get back to you because they can't get a hold of you. I had a hard time getting to customer support because they closed my account. I got through just by going to their website. I was ready to start a new account just to get to customer service. It was a nightmare of what i have had to do. All I can advice you is DON"T SIGN UP WITH GROUPON.
I purchased a Christmas Tree from Groupon last year and it was exactly as the ad said, it was a really nice tree. So, ordered again this year from Groupon. I received the ugliest tiny little tree. It's not even close to the heights listed in the ad and it had no width. It's about half the size or smaller than last years. I contacted Groupon right away via email and have heard nothing back. We've had to use this ugle tree as we didn't have the additional funds for another tree and with reading all the reviews here they apparently wouldn't help anyway. I trusted you Groupon, you represent the vendors and businesses you sell on your wedsite, if they suck, you suck! I honestly thought you'd stand behind your name and reputation but now I see you have an awful reputation. Never again and I shared the two trees side bu side on social media giving my friends and family a heads up.
Overall, I honestly have had neutral to negative experience with Groupon. The savings I have made are largely offset with the my Groupons that have expired. But worse of all is the horrible customer service I have experienced. There is no customer service phone number on their mobile app. And when you find it on the web, they are only open 9am-5pm mon-fri. When your lucky enough to get somebody on the phone they will not refund your expired purchases. If you sell something 24 hrs 7 days a week. You should be able to contact this business. Also, when you redeem your groupon at a business. Thier etiquette is very poor. You do not feel like a valued customer in the end.
Bought a group on deal for a TEFL course. Spent 2 months revising and passing the modules. Got to the last 2 and suddenly I couldn't sign in to the course. I contacted Groupon who after 6 weeks with no explanation just refunded the amount I paid for the deal. Am gutted what a waste of my valuable time and am very disappointed in Groupon will not use or recommend to anyone
I bought a 60 min massage last October 5,2015 from Tranquility Massage (Jacqueline). When I called for an appt, she said she was booked for the next two weeks. On the day of my appt, I forgot the voucher and called while I was on my way. She said she required it and I needed to reschedule, again two weeks later. I finally got my massage this month. When I asked how she stayed so booked, her explanation was that it was Groupon's fault, because they sold 1,000 instead of 100, so she had to set aside certain days for those sales. Her massage was awful - when I asked her if it was swedish or deep tissue, she said she did neither because hers were unique. Her manner was blasé, unconcerned, and she gave me a 40 min massage (if you can call it that). I've had many massages in my 70 years, but this one took the cake! I think she offered these massages and booked them out 2-3 weeks ahead so her customers would get frustrated and let her have her $35. GROUPON: don't accept her ads anymore!
I bought a 2 night stay at Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel but a few days ahead of time, I realized I had to cancel one night. Groupon (through chat, since there was no one to call in Customer Service) said I had to take up the matter with the hotel and the hotel said I had to take the matter up with Groupon. Plans change and things come up and I think Groupon should have been able to make an exception, especially since I gave them a few days notice. Because of the lack of good customer service, I give them 1 star. We here in the hotel for 1 night only and got ripped off since we checked out in the early morning.
Feb. 3 - Purchased coupon
Feb. 12 - Attempted to use coupon (vendor did not honor coupon)
Feb. 12 - Called Groupon. They refused to refund because it has been over 7 days of purchase.
One of the worst customer service experiences I had ever had from any online company. They do have some good deals from time to time; however, if a vendor does not honor the coupon then it is very difficult to be refunded if it has been over 7 days of purchase. Does that seem like a reasonable policy? If the coupon is not honored then regardless of the date of purchase you should receive a refund.
Thanks for reading my review! :)
I would not recommend this spa. I asked if all their massage therapists were registered massage therapists and told yes. I booked a forty-five minute massage that was very poor. When I asked for the signed bill with the therapists licence number I was told that they only had one working there and I had needed to book a hour season with her. I felt scammed out of my money. I noticed they also do high pressure selling for packages and creams.
I lost my job do to this pandemic and before this I purchased dental cleaning through Groupon. I contacted them and asked for a refund and the manager approved it. It's been three weeks since that happened. I went back on the site and contacted them again to see what the issue was and the representative told me that there was nothing she can do and also told me she was Not going to escalate my call. She was very rude and I filed a complaint with the BBB. Do not purchase from here. They do not help people.
I would put 0 stars if I could! Don't use this app! They will take your money and refuse to refund you! I a session of sculpsure and the clinic during the screening didn't feel I was a good candidate and wouldn't get the results. They recommended getting a refund, since the voucher wasn't redeemed. They took for ever to respond to say they wouldn't be refunding me!
STAY AWAY! I order a pair of shoes and got a totally different pair then I order and they will not send me the right shoes nor let me return them. I will never use this site again and will tell everybody I know to never use this site. I buy a lot things offline and this is by far the worst site.
Hi Eileen,
Thanks so much for giving us your feedback here on SiteJabber. I'm really sorry to hear that you were sent the incorrect shoes by our fulfillment center. If any item you receive from us is incorrect, we'll be glad to allow you to return the item for a full refund back to form of payment. The customer service team will always send you a special return label so you can get the refund for the item you should have been sent, since that is what was paid for.
If you can send me your order information I'll be happy to check inventory for the correct item that you should have been sent and issue you a return label for the shoes you were mistakenly shipped. Please send me a message with this information and I'll be happy to help you resolve this issue so we can ensure you're fully refunded for the shoes you purchased. I look forward to hearing back from you and helping to resolve this issue.

We have been trying to come to a resolution for over a month now for tickets we purchased for flights to Iceland. We were NEVER given a promo code to use the groupon. Tuesday we were told that we should have contacted them sooner as there is nothing they can do now... what did the last month count for?! Today, the only response I have received in their "chat" is telling me that the expiration date is in the fine print. I realize that. I WAS NOT ABLE to use the Groupon within that time frame.
I order two high chairs off this site. Once I got my confirmation email there was no expected delivery date. So I wait and check for a fews days just to realize that my order wasnt even processed after 5 days. I couldnt reach no customer service and they refused to give me my money back in the supposed "self service" tool. The deals really arent that great to wait a whole month to recieve your products.
I purchased Apple AirPods. The item description says they are noise cancelling. They are not. I immediately requested to return them for a refund. For over a week all I get is a runaround from Groupon and the seller (6AVE). I will never buy anything from these crooks again!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
Groupon has a rating of 1.6 stars from 5,286 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Groupon most frequently mention customer service, credit card and fine print. Groupon ranks 250th among Daily Deals sites.
