I bought the Zenex Bluetooth headset and within 2 months the earbuds fell apart. I contacted Groupon and they said there was no account with my email address (even though I sent him a screenshot of the order and my information) and I got a very generic response from them. I used to love Groupon but I am never buying anything from them again. PS do not buy anything from Zenex because it is crap!
I asked Groupon before buying a Edgewater Resort Beach condo if it was on the beach! They lied and then when I got into the nasty dump they really assigned! It had Human Crap all over the towels! Neither the Resort or Groupon cared! They offered to upgrade us for 160! Never Again!
Unfortunately I encounter the same problems about costumer service like all the others did.
I should have done some resarch on this site before buying but ah well... to late now
Anyway I want to return an item and it seems it's impossible to get in touch with their customer support, no response via email and when I called it took me to voicemail and of course they did not call me back.
Horrible customer service, I am nervous for the other items I bought and have to arrive :( .
I will not do business with them ever again
If you purchase tickets on groupon make sure you pick the right day because you won't be able to exchange them or get your money back. At the end you wouldn't even be able to give them away as a gift because you have to go through more hassle
I thought that I would be saving money by using Groupons. Instead due to their limitations & restrictions, it's not worth it for me. It's cheaper for me to pay full price when I actually want/need something. I've unsubscribed from Groupon.
I purchased an indoor/outdoor movie projector and after waiting 2 weeks for it to arrive, I get 3 pair of samsung earbuds. Once I called CS I was told I would get a refund of the amount purchased after I returned the earbuds. Now thats another 3 weeks to send back what they sent me, wait for my refund (who knows how long that will take) and order another if I chose to purchase another one. Im afraid I will get something different again and for my inconvenience I was give a $5 coupon. Smdh
Since I joined ideeli, I have purchased wwell over $1000 worth of merchandise and I have rarely been disappointed with what I received. I made the mistake of ordering a bathing and didn't pay close enough attention to the non-refundable line. I cannot even get it over my head it is so tiny. It is so small even if I lost 10-15 pounds it wouldn't fit! I asked them to make an exception just this once and they wouldn't budge. So I am returning everything else that was on the order and I am discontinuing my membership with ideeli!

They sent me the wrong size on an item that I ordered. Invoice clearly stated the correct size, but the item was wrong. They refuse to exchange the item. They want me to send it back for refund and wait 14 days for my money back while re-ordering the item and paying a 2nd time. Ridiculous! This was not stated in the fine print. I triple checked. I am NOT happy at all.
This doesn't even deserve one star...I purchased a groupon for a limo service in vegas, turns out the limo company did not have availability the weekend I was supposed to be there. Contacted groupon support requesting for a refund and they simply denied me. I don't live in America, so I will not have any other chance to use the groupon. It's so brutal, and with the exchange rate, it costs me more, i essentially lost $150 CAD, let me rephrase that, Groupon took $150 CAD from me. I don't make a lot of money and I wanted my mom's 60th bday to be special by getting a limo, instead i'm out of that money and we don't 'have a limo now :( companies like these need to be shut down i think.
This shopping venue is very so-so at best.
It has a nice selection and at fairly good prices, and so I find myself looking at the selection frequently, and yet I rarely purchase. Why? Because shipping is $10 and takes a month or longer.
Since shipping is so expensive, I'll find a product for a good price but then think "oh yeah, add $10, and the price is no longer so great..." And then the fact that the shipping is so unreliable and takes so long, you can never really shop for a specific occasion, like a party, because you can't count on the dress arriving on time.
Not only that, but always check for the item, particularly the home good items, on other sites first. I frequently find them offered on amazon.com also, by doing a simple search on froogle.com (a shopping comparison search engine) and find the product offered for roughly the same price. And of course then I have better shipping options.

Pour la Victoire shoes were stained, worn and leather on one shoe was wrinkled. Emailed and waited and emailed and emailed and emailed. Live chat is not available. Phone number has recording to email them. THis company sucks. Stay away. I will contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.
I ordered a picture from Groupon on December 8th. The tracking information they provided was inadequate, with no tracking #, or delivery service provided. After about 10 days, I checked the details for the shipping information, and it stated it would take 12 business days. On Friday, after Christmas, I tried calling customer service and was put on a 30 minute hold. I had to call back today, the 15th business day, and waited the 30 minutes to speak with a representative. He told me that he was also unable to see any tracking information, or a delivery method, and that he could not even tell if my package was shipped! He said my options were to either keep waiting for a package I did not even know was on the way, or get a refund. Terrible service! How can the company I purchased from not see whether or not my package was even shipped? No tracking number, nothing. I will NEVER buy from Groupon again!
If I could score no stars then I would, Customer service is shocking, I was missing parts for a bed I had ordered and it is very difficult to get this resolved, to make this worse I am currently pregnant and have had to sleep on the floor. This is unacceptable and will be making sure everyone knows.
I bought a digital scanning groupon to a place called scan digital. Months went by after sending them my negatives to be put on dvd. After many runaround phone call, i came to the conclusion they lost my negatives. I emailed groupon customer service ( since there is no way to talk with a live person). They quickly returned my money and erased all evidence of the groupons from my account. I will not stop untill someone goes down for loosing my pictures, but i see a long painful process coming my way. Save yourself from the nightmares, go to your local establishment and pay a little more. IT IS NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS>
I have purchased many meals over the past few years but only recently tried their goods. Restaurants are always a hit or miss and Groupon does not want to refund your certificate even if you get there and the restaurant is not open for business! The goods I bought recently are completely defective-one is the BUCCO sandals they are still selling on their website. Not only can I not return them because it is past the 14 day period but they are not sized correctly. Size 9 w/a narrow foot is more like an 8 super narrow in BUCCO shoes. Groupon does not care that they sell defective goods on their site. BUYER BEWARE! More often than not, I have found the goods and services sold on their site are offered by companies and people who do not have enough business due to their lack of customer service and quality of products.
I recently ordered a luggage set and I never received and customer service suckkks and were rude. They don't have any answers just excuses.

I have been ripped off 2 times when purchasing items on Groupon. On June 28,2018 my credit card was charged for a sterling silver necklace that I ordered. When I received the necklace, it did not look anything like the picture that was represented on the Groupon site. I jumped through a couple of hoops and returned the necklace. My credit card was never credited. The 2nd time I had ordered a sterling silver bracelet for which I was charged, however the bracelet has never been delivered. That purchase was on October 12,2018. For months I would check on the Groupon site, for months it indicated that it was in transit. My credit card has not been credited for either purchase. BUYER BEWARE. Apparently Groupon doesn't always represent credible sellers.
A person of unknow identity hacked my Groupon account, then Groupon sent me an email stating that my email has been changed and if it was not me please let support know. I also received an email from my bank stating about a purchase I did not make. I call my bank and stopped the purchase then I notified Groupon they gave me the run around and that I should contact my bank because someone has got my credit card information and hacked my groupon account. Which was not true. Groupon's investigation was not worth the time and they never admitted that their system was breach. Close your account because Groupon is not security, safe, or customer friendly.
Tried Groupon 2x. Deals looked great. Both deals folded once purchase was made or tried to be made. 1st deal supposedly fell thru due to misunderstanding with business offering deal. 2nd deal never went thru due to "computers down", even after several contacts by phone and email with customer service directly. Appears website offers some great deals, but sofar, by my experience, feel lucky if it goes thru. (Pretty good at offering apologies, however--no charge for those)
Basically, I overbought certificates that have too short a life span and businesses won't work with you once it's expired. I love to save money, but they give you such a hard sell and say they only have a limited amount... I got suckered into buying more than i wanted.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
