I bought a gift groupon for a business. The business denied the groupon services. When I asked groupon to refund my money back they said they don't do refunds after 3 days from purchase. So my money was wasted. Groupon took my money and gave me nothing.
Bought my first 2 products from Groupon, they have sent it to a totally different address, totally there fault, yet they will not issue a refund. They say that they have to wait for the goods to be returned to them. Why should I have to wait.
Two packages were not delivered and although I paid them cash for the missing items they want me to accept Groupon Bucks to still spend money with them. I have been using Amazon and never had any issues with refunds or returns. Groupon is using COVID 19 to rip customers off. I do not recommend Groupon for online shopping.
Terrible, terrible experience! There is no contact number on there site so when you have questions you have to chat online and they cancel the chats! Bad service, buyer be ware! They don't do what they say they do!
OK, so you read all the good reviews on the groupon page but how does one actually leave a review there? I cannot find a way to leave a REAL review about trying to use my group on code for Shari's Berries. What a RIP OFF. They make you use a special link to use the code and Shari's Berries jacks up the price 50% on that link so you actually save NO money. You cannot use these codes on the regular link. You would be better off to not use a code and shop on the regular site using online couple codes. This is a scam and rip off and there is no way to report it to others on group on. Shame on both of you.
I found good offer of K2 TV wall mount on Groupon.com. I ordered that product and received the wrong product. I called customer support of Groupon and they said they can't send the replacement. I need to return the item and order the product again.
I returned the item and order the product again. You know, 2nd time I got the same wrong product.
This is not acceptable at all and I was not expecting this kind of service from Groupon. They are selling some other item on their website and sending something different. It's kind of like a fraud they are doing. I am very disappointed as I already wasted my 2 weeks time for waiting to mount my TV on wall.
Groupon blamed AMEX for my Credit card decline. AMEX was clear that they sent authorization but Groupon never completed the transaction. Hours wasted with emails, chats, and unintelligible VOIP with foreign accent automatons.
Just terrible. Couldn't even cancel the order.

I got a auto care coupon package for $29 in April. Called to make an appointment today and they informed me that they haven't honored the coupon since 2016. That they have called and e-mailed groupon to take the ad down. Contacted groupon today and they refuse to refund me my money back. Instead they offered me to pay another 21.75 to exchange the coupons! No thanks is all I can say it's their screw up and they should refund! I will be contacting all of mine and my wifes friends on FB to write a bad review Groupon.
As other reviewers have said - STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! It's been the worst shopping experience and makes me love Nordie's and Macy's even more. I am still waiting for a return shipping label after ONE week. At first I was told they had to manually make one, huh? Then I receive a email claiming they have attached a return shipping label. Guess what? No attachment. Ideel makes it extremely hard to return any merchandise. Stay with the winners!

I am finding hard tI mean reaching customer service you only can chat with them Saturday onlys. They process my payment and today they send email saying they couldn't get the money from the bank when I called my bank they say ideeli try to process extra 50 dollars now I couldn't reach any of there customer service so disappointed.
Be careful about ordering actual merchandise from Groupon as they will often have two other companies involved in sending the item. I have had problems with my last two orderes of merchandise and found that Groupon offers no help in mediating between the customer and the company that provides the item.
I reserved a parking garage in NYC with Groupon for a family night out. I paid $45 for 8 hours. The place closes at 11:30PM so it was for only 7.5 hours. I thought it was great deal. When I actually got there, I didn't bother to check their posted prices. When I went back to pick up the car after 5 hours I realized i got scammed by Groupon after I already paid with the QR code from Groupon. The posted sign says "upto 10 hours $33.95 plus 18.75% parking tax" That's $40! And Groupon won't let me leave any reviews on their app even though I tried many times. Scammers! I had to find this sute just to leave a review so on one will be scammed by Groupon again. Obviously I will not be using Groupon anytime soon!
I do most of my shopping on line. Have ordered many times from Groupon. Made a mistake one time and they immediately let me cancel my order and refunded. I did try to make a phone order once when on line would not let me add something to my cart to get free shipping and they wouldn't take a phone order! Bad customer service in my opinion. Their items are pretty good quality. Their shipping times are excellent. I continue to order from Groupon. The one thing I really don't like is their mobile app won't let you place multiple items in a cart to get free shipping. You have to purchase one item at a time and pay for shipping. I always order multiple items on a computer and get free shipping.
Groupon offers various neighborhood deals as well as national deals to it's consumers. I have only purchased the national deals on this website. I have never been disappointed and have always been able to use the coupon codes I received without any issues. I recommend that when you purchase from groupon that you read the fine print so you have an idea of when the coupon expires and if their are any other charges that you may be responsible for (shipping, travel expenses) that aren't included in the purchase price. I would recommend this site and I actually follow it everyday by receiving emails from a person who keeps track of these on a daily basis.
I tried to purchase something from Groupon that was "a deal in my area" but when I clicked "Complete Order", I got a message saying that my address was invalid and to correct it? How can I correct the address that I get mail at now?! I contacted customer support and they just sent me a link to the USPS and then ended the chat without any kind of conversation or answers to my problem or anything. Poor business in my opinion.
I ordered some pillows for a friend who hasn't a groupon account, they say they were delivered by Hermes which isn't so as my friend was in work, she has asked all her neighbours and they haven't signed for them, Hermes won't deal with me say its up to groupon to contact them and groupon are saying as it was delivered they can't give me a refund, but they can't or won't give me the proof, so frustrating I will never order anything with them again and it will be my mission to tell everyone about their tactics
Purchase a convertible pet steps. Found product is flimsy. My pet doesnt use it and i put in closet. Until recently, i put up again next to my bed again. Pet still does not use it. One day i found the screws become loose. I found the screws dont fit well with the wood. It fell apart completely. Groupon said it is too late to return it. Terrible customer service and selling low quality products. The price is not the lowest. All prices gave been jack up to the roof to start with before discount.
I purchased a Groupon for lash extension for a wedding. When I tried to book the appointment the estitician was booked all of may through August... mind u the Groupon expires in 90 days. When I called groupon cs to see if they could extend those 90 days the woman said no. I should just gift my groupon to someone! After waiting almost an hr to even speak to someone this was her response. I will nevery buy another groupon again.
When Groupon works, it's awesome. The goods have been subpar at most. I'll never order again. I once bought a groupon for a merchant listed as local. They were actually in a completely different part of the country. I was able to get my money back. I bought a groupon for a wine & painting event. When we arrived the doors were locked. I redeemed the groupon on my way there. I called groupon. They said I have to contact merchant to reschedule & because it's marked redeemed they cannot refund my money. I asked to speak with a supervisor. She said I need to call back & hung up. I called right back. The next person I spoke with refunded it without a problem. She knew about my experience with the first person I spoke with. I never know what type of quality I will get with groupon & will not be using them very much in the future.
You will have to read alot of reviews first about the products or services that you want to buy the groupon for, but if you do your research right you get to save a lot. I have been using them for the past 5 years successfully.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
