Some how it said I ordered two of an item which I did not. The customer service sucks. You cant contact anyone and it takes them for ever to get back to you
This was a online service that I just cant cancel. After this I will not use groupon again
I work in hair salon for long time and we do with this cheaply people from livingsocial and groupon all day, but we have special product for there hair since they never come back again they go from salon to salon looking for free service... you get what pay for... losers
I clicked on an ad to purchase tickets for the summit and they sold me tickets for one world observatory, a completely different attraction. The. Refused to issue a refund because of their fine print. Groupon is a scam and a completely unethical company. Do not do business with these scumbags.
I used to think Groupon was the best thing ever, but after buying several things through them I realized the quality wasn't too impressive. A $100+ value curling iron I bought for $30 wasn't as hot as other high-quality ones and it didn't really work well. I'm skeptical of how they decide on the "original price" - I feel like they might have been low-quality items with ridiculous prices that didn't sell well, so they just dumped it through Groupon. I also bought a pair of flats through here and it was really cute but it ripped after about 3 weeks which was really disappointing. On the other side, I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab II through groupon which I love, so I guess it really depends on what company is selling through groupon. Be more cautious with companies you don't know, but if it's a trust worthy company, jump on it! :)
I placed an order on Ideeli last week. While my credit card was charged, I never received a confirmation email and the order has disappeared off my account. The online chat rep says they have no record of the transaction (again, there is clearly a charge from Ideeli on my card).
5 days ago I ordered Phyto Vitamins and they were open and not sealed shut. Plus the vitamins inside exploited and it was all over the rest of them. I sent pictures and I emailed them immediately. Still have not got a response back with this. The bottle looks so scarey to even look at. Bad customer service.
I have been trying for 3 days and multiple emails to try to cancel the deal that I have live at this place, where I basically not make enough money worth offering. They resort to telling you one stupid thing after the other in order to not cancel your deal.

I purchased a groupon and this was the worse experience I ever had with a place. I have been using Groupon for years however, I've never had to contact them to request a credit or refund for horrible service of the services purchased. I contacted them and after 25 minutes on the phone, they refused to credit me. This company has lost my business for good. I will make sure that I let everyone know how terrible and unfairly I was treated.
What are you scamming the public, had over 15 from dec and jan that were not shipped and now they have been cancelled. This is fraud - how can they claim they are selling items and after you wait more than a month for your items they don't send it. Yet the same products are being sold on groupon.
I just had a negative experience with Groupon. I accidentally purchased the wrong thing and when I realized 1 day later, weeks before the event, they wouldn't even give me Groupon credit or even escalate it to a manager. This company has gone down over the last few years. I recommend to stay clear, not worth the frustration.
I`ve been using such services for a long time already and this one is pretty like the others out there - you can get really nice discounts on various items most of the time however there are times you really get nothing. In general the service is worth using, as for me.
They have really bad customer service. No phone number to call. When you need help they assume the issue would resolve itself by ignoring you. I was so frustrated on the charges to the credit card and they were not able to provide me with an answer on why my card shows many charges. On top support was very unhelpful.
I wanted to make a purchase on one of their deals and it showed an error. They told me to buy the deal from New York on the Canada website because I am from Canada. They have no clue that New York is located in USA. Just because I am in Canada, they expect I am able to purchase Groupon deal in New York. I told them that the deal doesn't exist on the Canada website. Then they think New York is in Canada. I am talking about New York Manhattan.
I have had worst experience with Groupon recently. I purchased a Samsung Tab and they sent a defective piece. When I returned it, there was not update on tracking of the product. Now the product is finally in their return center after two weeks, they have not processed the money back into my credit card yet. They do not realize the loss to the customers in opportunity cost.
The second experience I have is for the Starbucks coupon I purchased. When I went to a Starbucks at Price Chopper, they initially told that they will honor the coupon. While paying they tried to scan/enter the coupon number but it did not work. They even did not apologize for that and behaved rudely, thinking that I had exhausted the coupon. I had to pay out of my pocket. That was utter humiliation. With these experiences I would say a big NO to groupon.
Don't waste your money buying groupons. They shut down their customer service phone lines and now you can only deal with the morons on their chat lines. Good luck getting any money back from them! Stop buying groupons and put those idiots out of business!
I have purchased vouchers in the past with no issues. My latest purchase was a watch to be shipped to me. FIrst of all the UPS people left it on my doorstep for anyone to come along and help themselves. Second, when I found I did not like the product I tried to do a return, but the online system would not allow me to access the proper forms. After many emails I was able to get a Groupon Rep. To email me a return label and form. Apparently CANADIANS cannot do electronic returns without assistance.
This is a complete mess with very poor communication with paying customers. Rules are loose and very hard to get a massage when you want to arrange one, especially in your home. Very difficult to deal with and I would never recommend this WeMassage Groupon or service to anyone. Buyer beware.
I ordered an item and had received something completely different. It wasn't even on the groupon. Now I have to print out return address, box it up, then go to post office. They were at fault and I'm paying the price.
I reached out to them to request a refund for an over $200 purchase that I have been unable to use since November. I attempted to redeem my purchase 5 times each time the merchant cancelled on me. Now due to COVID 19 with everything shut down I cannot use it indefinitely and I waited before requesting a refund to have to avoid even making the request. Now. They will not refund me because you only have 3 days to cancel. So instead of getting nearly $300 back to my account for this time they have given me a credit that at this point is useless since nothing is open. I will never purchase through Groupon again. You're better going directly to the merchant. At least there you have a chance of getting your money back when you don't actually receive the service you paid for.
I've received four emails from ideeli that four orders have been returned by the post office as undeliverable. Makes no sense! I get packages from them and other websites at the address I provide without a problem. Now they say they won't re-ship them to me unless I provide another address. Can't use home: not secure place to leave boxes. Can't get a person to talk to me or call me back. Sigh -- Rue La La and Gilt have better customer service.
So l was charged $10 for my drink instead of $6. The calamari was chewy and we told them but my husband being nice said it was ok when they offered to make us new calamari or refund our money but my husband is too nice so we were charged for it so I forgot about asking for the $6 Long Island Ice Tea during Happy Hour where it should have been $6.
Make sure your prices charged are correct! The crab legs and shrimp were good but I could not eat the calamari. Horrible calamari! Will not be going back for my birthday!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
