I wish I could give them zero star

Like many other customers, I was charged a "handling fee" when I had to cancel a ticket I booked, literally within 20 min after booking. Only then I found that such a fee would be collected. I contacted them afterward, and they did not budge and refused to answer my question about why they did not mention the fee before booking. A very shady business that should not exist.

Severe misconduct!

I booked a flight online. Their website is designed in a way that intentionally there is no way to cancel the ticket online. I called and was on hold for more than one hour. I send emails and there was no response in days. Their procedures are fraud so they can keep the booking charge with no cancellation money back. I requested dispute through my credit card company.

Worst travel agency in my life. I call literally 15 times to change the name of the passenger on the reservation: 3 hours of waiting for each call, they hang up, do not want to give satisfaction, and are impertinent. No one can help change a simple name. Result I lost 800 dollars and 45 hours to negotiate

We lose our flight and 2000 € cause of this agency travel. Just careful before booking with them.
The worst service i never saw, 2 days calling them to change a flight, they always tell me ok but need to wait i try to call them on the last day and the told me it s too late to make a changement.
Never book with this company!
So bad service!

Biggest scammers

They charge you hefty amount for any changes but when the airlines reschedule anything they are unable to provide any alternative flight or compensation. Also if you have to cancel your flight because of change in your flight by the airlines this company still charges you. What a sham

They book your ticket at the last minute so hold onto your funds. Requests for changes or refunds are pathetically expensive. Refunds for cancelled flights are almost never given or conditions so difficult you give up. Never use this immoral agency

SCAMMERS, AVOID AND DONT BOOK WITH THEM!

I am writing to address a concerning issue regarding my recent booking with GTG. Unfortunately, they are not trusted, and not refunding the money to clients even for more than 3 months and despite several follow-up attempts and assurances from their representatives.

Be careful and do not be scammed by them.

GoToGate attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Easy and cheaper than other options

It's easy to find flights, the only think I would change is kayak lets you select the flight and like and then shows result for the return flight. But gotogate has been a much cheaper cite and every to use on the app

Do not recommend

The confirmation page stated that cancellation could be made within 24 hours, like any normal flight.

I tried to cancel within a few hours of my flight and was told it would be $57 for each of the 4 people I cancelled.

With reference to your e-mail, we have not cancel your booking and leave as it is active.

However, we have checked 24 hours rules and it is applicable but it is left only for an hour by the time you reply back to us via e-mail, the 24 hours rules may expired. We request you to please give us call back *******089 as soon as possible within and hour, if you cancelled with 24 hours the handling fee would be USD 57 per person.

If you cancel after 24 hours rules then the ticket would be non refundable.

Booking fee absorbed

I booked 5 tickets using Go to Gate. Before you can get to the final screen for payment you must deny around 10 upgrade charges and offers. It costs more even to be seated together. After booking I immediately noticed an error and the policy is a 24 hour cancellation is acceptable. I got on a chat requesting a change which lasted 40 minutes before being told there would be a $500 rebooking fee and a $75 per passenger fee. I explained that knowing in the beginning would have been better and I would just cancel, get the refund, and rebook. Cancelling did refund the ticket amount but not booking fees etc. I was returned my ticket cost minus around $500 of those added charges.

GoToGate attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Don't Do It!

It is pathetic, illegal in most countries, and I am sure contrary to Visa's credit card policies to charge a fee to use Visa to purchase a ticket. I was just about to buy 3 tickets but GotoGate tried to sneak in a $250 last minute charge...No thanks. Never again will I waste my time.

The best shhhhh ever

Start off with purchasing tickets through regular online websites. And had way too many troubles with the processing. Hopped on google flights found a ticket from gotogate and first time trying this and literally everything went through smoothly first try too as well. And well worth it for the budget as well. Thank you.

Am still waiting for my refund for cancelled flights
The booking was made 02/06/2020 nearly three years ago
I was informed that the flights had been cancelled on 13/08/2020
Do not book with this company they are deceitful unscrupulous lying crooks, they are so bad that their are dedicated social media sites set up to try and help people get their money back

This company is a scam!

I booked a flexi ticket that was supposed to allow me to change my booking free of any additional charges. Condition is to call to re-schedule. Only that of the three phone numbers I received, none was connected. I've recorded the message, so I can now engage consumer protection to try to get my money back.
Never use this agency!

I was entitled to cancel my return fight due to scheduled change contacted gotogate by mail and they never came back to me. I called them by phone the whole procedure took over an hour and a half. During it i was put twice on hold for once for 30 minutes and once for 40. I was transferred from one employee to the other and was told by the last one after she wanted me to start the whole process again that being put on hold for half an hour is part of there procedure if you want to cancel. After shouting on her she agreed to take care of my request. It took her another 20 minutes and she found out that i am entitled to 200$ refund for cancelling nearly half of a 1100$ ticket. She said that i'll get a mail that confirm it immediately. The mail never came and neither the refund.

I purchased a flexible ticket to be able to change my flight at no cost and their phones were down for 2-3 days, which is the only way you were allowed to change your flight. They then told me that they would not honor the flexible ticket and it took them 6 months to call me back. Do not use them! The hold lines are also hours before you will ever speak to someone. I will never use them again, they are the worst!

Be careful with this agency they are scam. They changed the flight details after I did payment with 30 hours difference from the original flight that I confirmed for booking. When I asked for cancellation and refund they charged me £136
