I recently moved from another shipping company to global shopaholics thinking th must be good as they said they ship dangerous goods like perfumes and batteries to my country Qatar(middle east). Now first shipment was smooth and i was charged less than others.The second shipment was having three dslr cameras. When i placed shipment order and paid i asked them to let me know why i have one option for shipping through aramex. Now they woke up from sleep stopped my shipment and opened it and removed all the installed batteries from cameras and told me the batteries cant be shipped (while other companies still send installed batteries in equipment through all shipping companies). Well I thought this company is way beter than others but they came out worse. They were aleeping and i woke them up to make trouble for me.The shipment arrived to me after 35 days through aramex and inside everything was a mess lense were without packing and cameras were without batteries. Nothing was broken but some components were missing. This was a great disappointment for me.
They are really the best, everything is great with them, I shipped dozens of shipments with them, and everything was great, thank you GlobalShopaholics team
Let me summarise my recent experience with them vs what they were supposed to deliver according to their terms of service:
Registering packages received into storage - took 6 business days. This supposedly should take no more than 12-16 business hours (2 business days).
Package consolidation - took more than 4 business days. This should take no more than 24 business hours (3 business days).
Shipping out the package - took more than 1 business day (I am still waiting for this even now...) This should take no more than 1 business day.
This is either fraud / false advertising or just blatant disregard to service commitments by Globalshopaholics!
It has taken more than 11 business days (more than 2 weeks!) and counting from the time my packages were delivered to storage and them being ready for shipping to me. Do you think this is an acceptable time frame?
Apart from that, it is so difficult to get in touch with their customer service, and even if you are able to get a response from them, their responses/assurances are never reliable anyway. For example, I was told that my package would be picked up by Fedex yesterday as I already made payment the day before - but that did not happen! Considering it is now already the weekend, it is certain that the package will only be collected on Monday at the earliest. Although I would not put my hopes up too high for that either!
I am writing this because I feel it is unfair for this company to consistently disregard their commitments and taking no real actions when I complain to them. Just lip-service. I do not know what is going on behind the scenes there but for me as a long-time customer with close to 40 shipments over 7 years with them, the decline in service is very apparent.
Due to these, I would not recommend Globalshopaholics to anyone.
I have used them for multiple shipments by now, they proved to be trust worthy, they do what they say on there website.

Great service. I had a lot of doubts and Elia answered them all for me. He was very patient and showed me in detail how I do the procedures. Pleased!
I have been with this company over the past three years till now but seriously, I have nothing much to write about.
The Good: The company's web portal is awesome and easy to use. Organizing shipped items and shipment are very easy and simple but nothing is 100% perfect they still needs to fix some few links in order to completely make their website more responsive and robust.
The Bad: If you are looking for a cheap way to ship items across the globe from the USA forget about this company. They have outrageous prices for freight that will scare you to death. I won't recommend anyone to use their services when you into buying and selling! You will run into losses and never recover as long as you keep using their services!
The Ugly: Thinking of shipping with this company is basically a nightmare, to be honest they don't have the necessary set of tools when it comes to packaging. I have lost various items including phones, watches and other expensive items due to broken packaging and torn boxes used in shipping my items from this company. Anytime you try to report lost items all they will tell will be: "they are looking into things and they will respond to your case later", that's it!
In conclusion you can't make payment with any other online payment system over an amount of $500, (wire transfer is the only way of payment) which is a serious thumbs down for this company. As it stands, most of us rely on secured online payment systems like Paypal and others for a fair trade and a refund policy that binds us to a more professional services, so when a company luck any of these then there is trust issues. I hope this will get those that matters and the company in question.
Pricing is ultimately higher than any other forwarders, I will advise not to engage with this company if you do so it's at your own risk!
