I was all set to join the crowd and give then a 1 star rating. It took a month and 3 days to get the glasses, but the prescription was right on the money. Yes, their customer service stinks at best. When the prescription is wrong, you need to take them back to your eye doctor and get a note that the prescription is wrong and then they give you back your money. On the 7 pairs that I have bought for myself and my wife over the past year, only 1 out of the 7 had the wrong rx. I eventually got my money back. They only give you a 1 month guarantee and after that, don't expect to get any satisfaction. I broke a frame just by cleaning the lenses and they were less than 5 months old. Their anti-scratch protection is not worth a cent, as the lenses scratch easily. So don't spring for that extra $14.95.
On the plus side their lenses and frames are cheap and they have a great selection. But as the adage says "You get what you pay for", so don't expect quality. I probably will not be doing business with them again. And neither should you!

Beware

SENT THE WRONG GLASSES! Somehow someone there screwed up SOOOO bad that they sent a completely different pair of glasses - a child-size pair even. Forget about calling customer service either, because they can't help you. BEWARE! The glasses are sent from a lab in China. So glassesshop.com is the middle-man here and have nothing to do with what you order. They take your money and that's it. When I called, they told me I will need to send them back TO CHINA, AND PAY FOR THE SHIPPING MYSELF. Most places will at east send you a shipping label to use. So I guess in - maybe - two months I MAY or MAY NOT get the glasses I actually ordered. And who knows if I'll get reimbursed for shipping. Wish I could give ZERO STARS for this company.

The shipping took over 2 months. Second time i used the site and had shipping problem. Never using this site. Other sites usually deliver within 14 days.

We are sorry you ran in to shipping issues. With standard shipping it should take 2-2 1/2 weeks, with expedited it would be 1-1/2 weeks. There are some cases that when shipping to other countries there is a hold up in customs. Glassesshop.com

I ordered two pairs of glasses from them. When I got them, I tired them on and my eyes immediately crossed. They got the pupillary distance WAY wrong and refused to do anything to help me correct the problem. I sent them a copy of my prescription and one month later, I am still stuck with these worthless glasses. They are MADE IN CHINA and will not give you your money back or even help with a credit or return. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I had read reviews here before I ordered from Glassesshop.com & almost didn't order because of the negative reviews here. Because they had the frames I wanted & a first time buyers special, I decided to take the plunge & if the experience was bad, I would chalk it up to a lesson learned. I loved the selection of fashionable frames on the website & the ability to "try on" the frame to a downloaded photo. Web site was real easy to use. I called customer service once with a question & spoke with a live, courteous person without delay. I did wait 3 weeks to receive my glasses (right before Christmas), but my daughter had to wait 10 days to get her glasses from a local optician & she paid 3 X more. I love the glasses. They came in sturdy cases & look like good quality frames. My prescription was fine. I decided not to do bifocals which I sometimes wear. If I had it to do over again, I may have gotten the bifocals added but that was my fault, not theirs. For the price & style, I would definitely recommend!

I would definitely recommend these frames and this company. I have just ordered two more pairs. It fits well, is lightweight and very comfortable. These are the best glasses I have ever had.

THEY SAY THEY ARE AN AMERICAN COMPANY BUT THE GLASSES CAME FROM CHINA.
THEY SAY THEY HAVE A NO QUESTIONS ASKED REFUND POLICY BUT THEY DON'T REFUND YOU - THERE IS A "HANDLING FEE" OF 50%
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE

Be warned
December 16, 2020

I ordered my glasses on 11/15/20 and it is now 12/16/20 and still no glasses. I Called 10 days ago to check understanding that we are in covid times and things can get backed up, they told me my glasses had shipped and since I still haven't received my glasses I called today and was told that the frames were lost and that I can get a refund or they can remake them. They told me that they emailed about this and I checked my junk folder just in case and im not surprised by now that they had not emailed me. The website is nice and easy to navigate but this business is in over its head and it seems to operate very poorly based on my experience and the reviews of other customers. I should also add that the people that finally answer the phone when they do answer sound like they are speaking from their home while there are dogs barking in the background and babies crying as well as other background noise. Like they say if it sounds to good to be true it probably is and although the prices seem great its a long shot that you will be satisfied. Check the better business bureau reviews and complaints and see for your self before you take a chance with glasses shop.

LOVE THE FIT

Love these glasses. So lightweight. They fit super cute, wasn't sure about round frames at first but I love these. They also don't slip off of your nose at all, feel secured.

As I have a really strong prescription, I have been forced all my life to buy the lowest quality available on the market because of the price the opticians were charging me in Canada. Before i found any eyeglasses on internet, my prescription cost me between 800$ for single vision and 1200$ for progressive lenses. With my low income, i was wearing a 14 years old pair of glasses with so much scratch that i wasn't even cleaning anymore because i couldn't see any difference.

Recently i found Glassesshop.com and they were able to do my single vision prescription in any of their offered index.
The only limitation was that progressive glasses were available only in their highest index. 1.74
This was a bit more expensive than I was used to pay but what the heck, i needed those so i bought them for 175$
I was impressed with the quality of their product, So much more well built, comfortable, fashionable and precisely made. No flaw.
They also have a redeem points program and after my transaction with them, i discovered that i had 20$ worth of redeem points for a future transaction.

I bought a pair of glasses here, bad decision ever. They sent my order to a different location, i live in FL and they sent it to California, when i call customer service, they didn't take the blame, they said it was the post office's mistake. But anyways the re ordered it at no charge, finally a month later the glasses arrived.
The glasses were all wrong, called customer service again; nce again they said they didn't take the blame, but they said the can take it back for a refund, now is when it got ugly, they promise an easy return, yeah right! They told me that i would have to pay for shipping and pay 50% stocking fee. So it means i paid to try their product only. Buying online is a chance you wont like their product. They dont give you any guarantee. I just threw my money to the trash thinking i was gonna save money with them.

I paid with paypal, i called paypal and told them what happened, they gave me a full refund.

Please dont pay attention to those positive reviews, i guess some of them are paid by this company.
