The site purports to offer free refunds, they do not, the shoes arrived after a few weeks, on the day of delivery I initiated a refund and was denied.
I purchased a pair of boots with lacing from Girotti. Supposed to be all leather. When received the smell of these boots toxic. Incredibly awful uncomfortable last and no leather stamp or insignia whatsoever. I start a long process of trying to exchange. They suggest I air the boots out in the yard to dissipate the smell. They will try the con of exchange and then proceed to keep changing their mind. The only thing they spend time & money on is fancy website. Do NOT buy from these losers.

I wear a 37 shoe and ordered a 37 from Girotti but it was way too big. And now, they are not responding to my emails. Any business which sells products that have to fit should offer refunds if the product doesn't fit. The boots I bought were very expensive and now they are useless to me! Never do business with this company.

I ordered a handbag well before Christmas for my wife for $300. It never came and here we are January 21st of the new year and I'm still waiting on a refund. They blatantly lie and told me to check with my bank and they refunded it. This company sucks. Heed my warning.
Given the overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, I find the discrepancy with your experience concerning. For over two months, I have been attempting to receive an ankle boot order, and after a month of inquiries, I received an Evri email stating delivery, accompanied by a photograph of a generic green door. This photo, easily replicated anywhere, was presented as evidence of delivery to my residence. My concern is the lack of photographic evidence of the actual delivery location. Despite two months of back-and-forth communication, including a recent conversation with Dayana, the case has been inexplicably closed, and access to a manager has been denied. Legal counsel in both Italy and London has been engaged, and further action will be taken. I strongly advise against using this company due to the significant loss of time, money, and effort involved.
Placed an order for boots for my wife Oct 15th 2024. Received the order Dec 30th.
They are slow to respond and will only do so via email - and they provide little information in their communication.
I thought it was a scam until I had a legit tracking number.
My wife loves the boots however they arrived with a broken strap. I had to pay to have it repaired and when I contacted them about the issue, they never responded.
If you don't mind waiting a very long time to receive your order, you'll likely be happy with the product. Just garbage customer service.
After taking my money, Girotti informed me that the winter boots I selected don't come with winter lining and suggested I reselect. Next selection, no winter lining in that one. Then they told me they don't do winter boots any longer. Their website said Canadian dollars, but they charged me in US dollars - significantly more money with the exchange! I've been waiting 17 days for a refund. Their shoes and boots look amazing, but it looks like it's a scam, don't fall for it.
Hello everyone, don't order from them, they are total scam. Promised delivery in 10 days and now it's over 2 months. Wrote emails, tried calling their customer service, which never available. They ate total fraud company.
Orders Nov-28 for Christmas gift to my brother as they advertised to ship 7-15 days, but they shipped after 42 days, sent too many emails asking to cancel, they promised to ship the week of Dec-15, but shipped Jan-6, refused to cancel order and send money back and stuck with $230 pair of shoes, never buy, not worth the headache while can buy branded shoes for little more knowing that have 30 days to return,
I would never order girotti shoes again there very cheap looking there supposed to be leather but there plastic I'm pissed off $239,00 wasted.
I bought expensive shoes from them and I didn't like how they looked. They refused the return. I asked if I could exchange for something else. They said no, only if I get a different size. Does that make sense?
They say the shoes are custom made but I ordered a size 8 1/2. They knew nothing else about my feet.
They only want to take your money. They don't care about anything else.

If there is a Zero Star, they deserve it. Review sites should stop giving great ratings to some scammers like GIROTTI because some may hold you liable. They have no address at all to ship returns to! They do not accept refunds? Hiw? In 2024, on $250? Their shoes feel like concrete, cement, not even polyester but to talk of leather and they shipped shoes to me that is not well sized or leather for $250 & are refusing to refund. I will gather their other victims scattered across the US and we will report their scam to FBI. Veronica GIROTTI if that's your real name, refund my $250. I work VERY hard for my money. Stop lying that your shoes are made in Italy or are leather. They are not. I cannot wear such cement/concrete shoes with osteoarthritis of my knees. It's a huge scam.

Dies ist irreführend und entspricht nicht den Erwartungen, die an eine echte Maßanfertigung gestellt werden. Ich fordere eine Lösung in Form einer Rückgabemöglichkeit oder einer Rückerstattung.
Warning! Do not order from this company, they take your money and you might get your shoes or you might not. They promise your shoes in 10 days and other customers didn't get their shoes until 8 weeks later or not at all or did not get their money back. I ordered (3) pairs of shoes on Oct 1,2024 and tried contact them mulitable times on the status and I placed another order on October 9 for another (2) pairs totaling $ 1,100. They never responded to any messages or phone calls. I complaint to them via email ( because they won't answer their phone or emails, but they do read them because I said in an email that if they didn't response to my status of my shoe order that I was going to contact my CC and request a refund based on fraud. The link to my shoe order disappeared 30 mins later like it didn't exist. This company has Fraud written all over it!
Purchased a pair of boots which took over two months to arrive. Received them yesterday and they are the cheapest boots I ever own. Paid over $400.00 Canadian for a pair of boots that are worth maybe $100.00. My bad for not doing my research prior to ordering. Girotti is a fraud. After 2 months waiting for my order, they say it is an issue with the postal service and will investigate. They say I had to fiull a form for the postal services and since I missed the deadline, they could not refund. They stole $250 from me. Absolute con!
Customized shoes, paid $240 2 months later no shoes. Called them no response. Emailed them, they responded and said sorry we will expedite your order and have them to you in 2 weeks. That was 2 months ago. Scum bag company. They will get what's coming to them. I wish I had two more hands so I can give Girotti shoes 4 thumbs down
Don't waste your money. The quality of shoes are very poor and you won't get a refund.

I'm really disappointed with this company not honoring their words.
I have purchased a pair of shoes back in July 2023, I have not received them after 5 months.
They neither pick up the phone, nor answer my email.
Do not trust Girotti, Their service is very poor and not aligned with Canadian standards.

My beautiful blue suede shoes arrived with wet black dye on the soles and heels. The black dye immediately stained the suede and my floors!
GIROTTI has refused to deal with this defect.
