Massive waste of time and extremely frustrating.
Terrible phone wait times; I could never speak to the same person twice. Most reps were polite but incompetent and seemed incapable of correcting any of the multiple problems that occurred.
I tried to order over 5k worth of phones for my business, they cancelled the order every time. I was forced to go elsewhere.
We have purchased 2 phones from Gazelle - the 1st phone worked well - so no problems. Six months later had need for a phone for another family member. We trusted Gazelle and purchased a 2nd. This phone was not in good shape. It was listed as fair condition. This is described as cosmetic issues. As soon as the phone arrived it had a line through the screen, some of the keys on the keypad did not respond. It is barely usable. The return process involves buyer going to a sender, no pick up at your home. They do not replace. They only refund in " several days " after receiving the phone.
People on the phone unhelpful and make you feel like sorry for your problem but it's your problem not ours. WE received THE PHONE IN NON WORKING ORDER!

Gazelle offered to pay $128.50 for my iPhone 6 Plus 64 Gb. I just checked the status of my return. They lowered their offer to $20 claiming I had sent them an iPhone 6 16 GB. I know what model I sent them, and as it is the only iPhone I had there's no way I could have sent them something else. I declined their pitiful offer and requested my old phone be returned. I will be shocked if I actually receive my own iphone back. I wish I'd checked reviews here first.
I had several devices that were accidentally damaged, would not power on or weren't able to update to the latest software but Gazelle was willing to purchase these devices and in some cases, I received more money than was quoted! The alternative would have been chucking them all into the bin. I'm glad I decided to check with Gazelle!
I sent my sons IPhone 7Plus to gazelle with the quote of $115. About a week later I received an email for them stating that my sons phone was never paid off and still had a lease agreement. I notified Gazelle that I paid my sons phone off on 10/10/2017. I allowed more then 2 business days for a response and never received one. I sent another notification of my payment to Sprint and asked for someone to contact me back. I still have yet to hear from anyone. I later find out that my friend received the same email stating she was still under a lease agreement with the wrong carrier at that. If it was possible they would get a negative review, unfortunately I had to give 1 star for the lowest.
Sold us an iphone 7 and when we went to activate it, we were informed that it was stolen. It was rather embarrassing. When we called Gazelle for some compensation for extra time, energy and embarrassment, they offered to give us 10% off our next phone. They gave us a return label and we shipped the phone back. Not going to buy from Gazelle again.
I sent my iPad in "like new" condition. Upon receiving, I got a contra offer for a fraction of the price "due to scratches." There was not a single scratch on the iPad when I sent it to Gazelle. I asked that they send the unit back. It did come back with a scratch on the metal case. This is very upsetting - now I cannot sell it to anyone else "like new." I am very disappointed in my experience.
I love this site! I thought what I was quoted was more than reasonable and loved that they send you the packing box and postage! Couldn't have been a more simple process. After shipping my boxes back, I had money in my PayPal account within three days!
I was so surprised since I have dealt with them before but after sending them a really flawless iPhone 5S they said it had scratches and other problems. Not true since it was kept in a case and had a scratch cover the entire time I had it. Originally quoted $100 but came back with $20 so told them to return it. B. S.! Watch when they send it back it will look like it's been through a war. Just do give them your devices - EVER!
I sent them an iPhone 12 Pro,128 gig with screen protector on and locked phone from Verizon.They kept emailing me stating that Find My iPhone was on and it wasn't.I sent pictures of my icloud account to prove that.In return they said I sent them an incorrect phone.They said it was unlocked and that there were scratches on it although I had a screen protector on it since day one and a case they lowered the price $50.Poor experience.I have dealt with them before and had great experiences, but this time I'm done.
I've sold a number of iPhones to Gazelle. They have always been awesome to deal with, pay good rates, send a free box and even have an Amazon gift card option. I would highly recommend them and the next time I'm looking for a used iPad I will be looking at what they have to offer.
I sent my iPad 7TH generation to them, barely used and only had a few scratches on it. They offered me $136 originally but then I get an email saying that they adjusted the offer to $12.36 because something is wrong with the LED Screen which is a lie. That was my iPad when I sent it, I don't see any LED issues. Beware a bunch of scammers and don't use this company.
Gazelle.com, U get the value via Computer, U Print out the post office label (others choices), U use a Box it or ask Gazelle for a box kit, Drop it at the UR post office and Gazelle.com completes the process. Or go to local Phone Store with NEW employees that have never completed a transaction before in their life! Gazelle.com my time, spent my way! Love it!
They not only offer the lowest values possible, but they don't value their coupons either (or their customers). I redeemed a coupon for a $15 bonus when selling something for $50+ and ended up getting the original amount before the bonus. I contacted them and they were very rude and not understanding. They never helped me with any of it and would not let me take the item back. I looked up the value of my Macbook which was about 6 years old and they offered me $20...
Purchased a MacBook Pro for $1600 and selected express shipping. Called the, the next day to ask if I would have it by the weekend which they guaranteed I would. Three weeks and 7 phone calls later still not here and now have asked to cancel the order last week which still has not been done. I am now recording phone calls and saving communication and documentation as I am concerned I will need to take matter through small claims court. Huge waste of time and tied up $1600 for three weeks now. Never again!
I have sold numerous devices (Apple) to Gazelle in the past few years and have never had a negative experience. Their prices are fair. They are fast, efficient, and definitely know what they are doing.
Gazelle seems to be running a bait and switch operation. Their online estimate $105 for my old iPad. Once they had it in-house, they dropped the offer to $9, claiming my screen and the back were scratched and that it didn't light up properly. These claimed were false. I rejected their offer and told them to return the iPad to me. I sent it to another company that gave me $95 for it.
I bought an Iphone from Gazelle for my son. The only one in black that was available was in fair condition. When we received the phone, the condition was poor, and had scratches all over the screen. When I called the company to ask if I could exchange it (two days after purchasing it), they said I would have to return it and buy a new one which was $21.00 more. They would not do an even exchange! When I said this might be the last purchase I ever do with Gazelle, the supervisor said that's great, what else can I do for you! Also, if you return a phone you have to pay a restocking fee of $15.00!
I sent in 2 old phones. I rated the quality of them and when they got there, Gazelle gave me even more for one of my phones because it was in better condition than I had checked when I sent them in. That's awesome, especially considering they could have just simply gave me what I checked for my phone. But they went the extra mile and sent me more of a refund than I though I was getting. Thanks Gazelle!
I bought an iPhone 6 Plus, paid for the quicker shipping. They didn't ship it on time apparently they needed 2 days just to process my order. I had to change my travel plans. I had the phone a couple of weeks, it only worked about half of the time. I sent it back several weeks ago for a refund. I still don't have the refund! Do not do business with this company! They are the worst!
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
