I placed my orders with Gap on Dec 7th. They didn't even process the order until the 13th i was told and my Christmas gifts for my children will not arrive until Dec. 28, if they are not delayed again. I will return everything once it arrives, since i have to go out and shop again. I will never order from them again and hope that they are one of the stores that does not survive the pandemic.
There was a little bit of a hiccup with my order because they didn't ship it out on time, but I got a courtesy discount of 10% and my clothes were shipped within 2 business days! Oh and I LOVE the dress I got!
BE AWARE! - Their online return policy on all GAP-GAP FACTORY-OLD NAVY is a complete SCAM! You have 30 days from SHIPMENT date to have your returned package ARRIVE to their warehouse! And it can take up to 15 days for it to arrive! This means that you basically really have just 15 days from the day your order will be shipped to you to the day you make the return. Assuming that the original order might take up to 7 days to arrive to you, you only have about 8 days to decide if you are keeping the items or not. Good luck!
I spoke with a customer service agent on June 20th for an order that was placed on May 28th and he told me that if I mail my package today it's not sure it will arrive by June28th at the warehouse as it might take up to 15 days, so if it doesn't arrive on time the return of 150$ won't be accepted! But he said: " I'd suggest you try to make the return and STAY POSITIVE!" wow...! This really is a scam..
The site tells you that you get free shipping over $50, and that you can select that during checkout - but when you pay with Paypal, it doesn't honor it and literally just places the order without giving you any shipping options whatsoever... AND THERE'S NO WAY TO CANCEL IT! They don't even have a useful way to contact them outside of their "normal" business hours, so there's literally nothing you can do but suck it up.
I grew up with Gap clothes as a kid (and other Gap Inc. brands like Banana Republic) - it's bad enough that the prices in absolutely no way reflect the exponentially declining quality, but this is the last time I'm ever buying anything from that company. Ridiculous.
I had the worst experience with Gap. I made an order and waited two months just to realize the order was returned to Gap. They didn't deliver as "UPS couldn't find my apartment number" even if there is my name on the buzzer of course. After that GAP didn't bother to send me email that the order was shipped back and even didn't bother to REFUND my money. So one month after they shipped the order back (and I was checking the tracking number meanwhile) I found out all of this. GAP customer support said they are sorry and offered 20% off for my next purchase! And that's not the end. I tried to apply 20% code for the next purchase and the code DIDN'T WORK. So there will be no new purchase at Gap, Old Navy and Banana Republic ever.
I have browsed many reviews before buying from this site, pretty good clothes, which made me satisfied was that there were no smells of the fabric. Good try.
Had orders confused with an old address. They immediately took care of the entire thing and it was less money because those items that were lost were on sale that day. Love my GAP.
Not my favourite clothing shop anymore. The quality has become worse than before. I bought a dress for daughter and it changed color after the first wash.
I can always rely on Gap to get some awesome pieces of clothing for any occasion or season. My favorite place both when shopping online or in stores. Top stuff, customer for life!
I have been a loyal customer for years. I have finally had enough of this over priced store. They have on numerous occasions delayed my orders, bur this time i talked to a manager because of course they screwed with my order and i had to call and redo it, no fault of my own. Talked to manager and she asured me i would have it by easter and even waived my priorty one day charge i was willing to pay to guarantee it was on time. They couldnt even get that right and im receiving 2 of my grandchildrens gifts after easter. I am done with this. Costumer service are nice but don't listen to a word they say, mostly lies, if they don't accidentally hang up on you and not call you back lol. Its a joke!
PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS DATING SITE. I joined and paid by $77 plus, however after realizing that I was being asked constantly to update to read email responses, I realized I had been taken. I am a senior on a fixed income and the enrollment too ALL OF MY SAVINGS. After several requests for a refund, a 'manager' called me back. He was totally unsympathetic and had no compassion or understanding of my situation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM my friends. Try a free site like PLENTY OF FISH. Namaste.
Simply the most disgusting company I have ever dealt with. If you don't mind your money stolen, or them holding you hostage with credits that you can't use because the items that arrive are damaged- and there is no customer service employee- trough supervisor - who cares at all- even for a moment- EVEN to PRETEND to care- then THIS site is for you!
I couldn't find the dress I saw in store and loved, couldn't find any sizes, and I was never buying anything at the sale price because you had to get in early to be able to purchase anything at all. I did give the website a "good" rating, though, because they are one of the few online retailers to price in Canadian dollars if I am shopping from Canada. Thanks! It gets really confusing to conveert to USD all the time, and since Old Navy/Gap/ Banana Republic have free shipping, random duties and shipping don't get tacked on.
I find that their baby gap section seems to have better quality and when it really pays off is when the promotions or $25 discounts are available. I tend to shop there for my baby gear.
They are great about shipping quickly, and returns when sent back via mail are processed in a very efficient manner and you are always emailed with results which I totally appreciate.
Firstly, GAP/BR/Old Navy has one of the most stremlined, awesome online return processes. And, as an avid shopoholic, I think that says a lot, when compared to JCrew or Madewell or other retailers. The quality can be hit or miss on a number of pieces, especially tops. Jeans are great. I wish they would go back to the higher quality tops of the 90s and early 2000s.
I spoke with an employee online who said he could change my Old Navy cash into Gap cash. He gave me a code to use, but it was only a small discount. I value honesty, so I will no longer shop at Gap.
It was my first and last time shopping from Gap. I had the worst experience ever. I placed an order with Gap online Canada, and it claimed to ship the item within 7 to 9 days. Right now, it has been over a month and I still did not receive any thing yet, because after I purchased the item, they put that the item is BACKORDERED. The store keeps changing the shipping date and last time I checked it when it should be delivered I realized that they added an extra month forward until shipping arrival!
Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews before I ordered the product. I was shocked that Gap has online reviews ranging from (MEDIUM TO TERRIBLE), and the company has not done anything to clean up its image.

Answer: During the pandemic, it is actually impossible. They do not have customer service reps and the call just simply says they cannot help you.
