Nice basic t-shirts and you can get them with a big discount. I order here regularly and the quality is on a high level.
Another antiquated business that needs you to create yet another marginal internet account instead of using top-level single sign on SSO providers e.g. Google, Facebook
I enjoy this fashionable good designed clothes. Though the prices are rather high, i can afford it. It's pleasant to wear good quality clothers made of natural fabric.
I placed an order for a Christmas given on 11/27. The GAP used LaserShip as the shipper. Tracking information continued to just say package waiting for LaserShip to send out. Checked with LaserShip and they said they needed more information about my shipping address and had reached out to the GAP for more information. Yet no on ever reached out to me (no phone, email, etc.) and no updates provided. After checking with LaserShip final time, they informed me they RETURNED the package to the GAP. The GAP no longer has stock and would only offer a less than sincere apology and a credit. Now it is 2 weeks later and I have to start shopping for a whole new Christmas gift for this child. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!
When we shop we want value for money. We want products that last a lifetime. We want to talk about our purchases, hopefully, others will want to purchase the same product and because we were satisfied we will return to do business again and again.
Well, that was my experience at Gap. Would you believe that about fifteen (15) years ago I bought a pair of Jeans Pant from Gap that I still have in my possession and yes I still wear it. I have not gained a pound in 15 years, aha! Great metabolism. I also bought a few other items that I wore for a very long time because the qualities were awesome.
I would shop at Gap again, the reason; their products are great, the qualities are superlative and even though I shopped there in person just once, I can't complain about the customer service. It was good.
I have noticed though since recently I am not able to browse on their website. You open the first page and you are not able to browse to other pages. I don't think its my browser though I think they are having some technical difficulties with their website. Not good because today most persons shop online. Come on Gap, do better.
To sum up though based on my personal experience I think gap was great a few years ago, hope the experience is the same or better yet even better. Hope to visit again soon.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.
I order a watch, that was said to be in stock, in December of last year. It was supposed to be a Xmas gift. After the date arrived they said it would be delivered on, I get told it's on back order. Never said that on the site otherwise I would've gone to other places to get it. So they say it'll ship around New Year's, one month later. Never did. So now I'm being told it'll ship in the beginning of Feb only to have my order canceled by them.
Absolutely ridiculous. I was nothing but polite and courteous to their support staff in this whole endeavor. Even when being lied to. So what do I get when I finally show my lack of appreciation? I 10% off promo code. You can Google search to find codes significantly more than that. So when I respond, again, w/ complaints about that's all my time and patience is worth to them, they up it to 20% off. You can get that by referring a friend. It says right on their website.
This site is terrible. NEVER order anything from them. I am posting this on every review site I can find b/c I was that upset about being duped. Bad thing is, this watch is sold out everywhere now. Might have to trust someone on eBay to sell it to me.
Thanks, Piperlime!
I ordered something from Piperlime that I really like, but I've decided not to ever order from this company again. I get spammed with daily emails from them, and despite countless attepmpts to "unsubrcribe" (by clicking their link), the spam persists. So, I called them and it was not easy to unsubsrcibe. It feels very scammish to me. There are plenty of other clothing companyies out there, and I don't give my money to companies that market this way.
The quality is not the best I`ve seen, but it`s pretty good. Good choice, clothes are comfortable and nice. And sometimes there`s soooo much great stuff that you can buy on sale.
I am never unhappy with my purchase's Gap always has stylish selections wow have I got some great pieces from this store always excited to receive my order
Have been shopping at this site for my girl's clothes for 3 years, always ready to help customer service staff and comfortable material, great site for children's fitting.
My experience with GAP began last year. And it was quite good! But I found the customer care to be a bit unreliable. Would have given five stars if I was given better care and service!
Amazing! 2nd time I've ordered this product and the quality is perfect and the speed of delivery, incredible! I highly recommend doing business with them!
The quality of Gap has gone from casual work wear to a much higher standard and is at the level that their flagship Banana Republic stores were at 5-10 years ago.
You can order clothes for whole family. They have multiple selections for women, men and baby too. At affordable price and quality is good. Shipping is okay.
This is the worst customer service ever. They have stolen my money on an order that was immediately canceled. They would not cancel though is was within a few minutes.
Love they're jeans, pj's, work out clothes, great customer service, great sales & very organized. If you can't find it at the store you might for sure find it online.
I love Gap, I've got many fab items in my wardrobe including several pairs of well fitting jeans, casual trousers, tees in all colours, warm jumpers & cuddly cardigans. I can't bear to part with any of them, even though some are several years old, & have worn them lots. I'm happy to say that the majority of my Gap purchases have been of excellent quality. Sadly, Gap in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK has closed down & I am devastated by that. It was a great shopping experience & it's so disappointing that it has disappeared from our main pedestrianised street, Briggate, & is very much missed (& not just by myself). I do order online though & usually my orders arrive very quickly. Returns take a little longer to process but that is no problem. Occasionally, I have used the online chat & I have had excellent service from that. My favourite purchases this season are a couple of stylish jumpsuits in jersey & some lovely knitwear. The frequent offers are well worth taking advantage of make Gap clothes a steal & if you have the app you can save a further 5% on your purchases. Please come back to Leeds, Gap!
I am unable to get my sister's requested birthday gift to her on time because of the stupid cheap shipping method Gap.com uses, and I got no help from the jerk in customer service who canceled my order without telling me. I ended up hanging up on the idiot and calling back in to get another customer service person. She was a bit more helpful, although I wanted to scream at this point because she kept hinting that I should thank her for giving me free shipping (all orders over $50 get free shipping online now anyway, so I have no idea why the heck she was so weird about it.)
I honestly have never been so frustrated by "customer service" people before in my life. I have had lost packages, misdelivered packages, late and lost items; but the companies I was dealing with would actually work with me to fix the situation. The Gap customer service people are really bad, and the company should stop with this cheap delivery company (it's LaserShip, which actually runs like Uber with independent contractors... who often seem to steal packages.)
I honestly have never been so frustrated with an online buying experience.
Thanks for everything Gap! The party is Saturday, so I have to go out on Black Friday to get her birthday gift. Oh, and thanks for the 10% off coupon to use on my next order. I can't even begin to imagine why they thought sending me that as an apology would be a good idea. It just made me furious. Hopefully my facebook and twitter posts will spread the word a bit about this horrible company.
I can see that over 70% of the reviews are bad on Truspilot. This is not surprising as Gap have no respect for there loyal customers either. I have been buying Gap cloths for over 25 years now and recently bought three pairs of Pyjamas worth £44. Unfortunately due to defective materials the garments have shrunk despite following correct washing instructions. When I wrote an email to there CEO Mr. Peck firstly he does believe in replying to customers directly, as he feels customers are not that important. This is a guy who is paid millions of dollars in salaries and bonus yet takes customers for granted. Eventually I got a reply from a disrespectful member of team who was only blowing Gap trumpet in how good there are and asked me to take the clothes to a Gap store. Even though I had bought the garments online and supplied pictures which don't lie I was basically told to get lost in the usual Gap language. I use to spend over £1000 per annum but for sake of £44 these amateurish organisations behaved in an abhorrent way despite supplying proof with pictures. I would never buy from these cowboys again. Beware as they appreciate loyalty and should you experience any faults with your garments they will tell you to go for a ride. Avoid buying from them is the only to hurt these cowboys in taking customers for a ride in this abhorrent way. The garments have shrunk by 2 inches and they have no shame
Best value with this company is shopping the children s clearance events. Children grow too fast to spend full retail on clothing. The Gap fills that growth 'gap' affordably.
Answer: During the pandemic, it is actually impossible. They do not have customer service reps and the call just simply says they cannot help you.
