Though the screen can be pretty brittle it does its intended purpose very well. I'm happy with it. This is my third replacement in a year but I upgraded from the AT&T cases to an OtterBox with better shock protection but I feel overall as long as you have a good case for your phone then the screen will perform fine.
I ordered a replacement Gadgetguard for my phone. I ordered the wrong one which I discovered within minutes. I was able to do an on-line chat with one of their customer service reps who was able to cancel my order and reorder the correct part within minutes. She was very efficient. Then I received an email that had our entire conversation documented. It was amazing and so easy! I will use them again without hesitation!
I like being able to browse and understand a product before I buy. Very satisfied with what I bought, and the warranty that Gadget Guard puts behind their products. I've managed to shatter a few of their protectors, but the replacements come out on time, and my phone hasn't lost a screen yet!
I bought a GG glass for my iPhone a few months ago. I have since needed a replacement. Luckily I remembered to 'register' it within the 15 days of purchase. I went online, accessed my account and ordered a new glass, paying about $6 for shipping. Installation instructions were simple and effective. I wonder how many replacements I can get (if needed) under my one registration.
Four stars for saving my screen.
One star off for the fact that I still had to pay $5.99 to get the replacement and it took a week to arrive during which my phone screen appeared cracked and, more importantly, was exposed to potentially more damage.
Instead, given the price of this product, I should have been able to go right to the AT&T store, pull up my warranty registered online, have them put on the free replacement immediately, and then GadgetGuard can take their time mailing AT&T the replacement for their inventory.
Product was easy to apply. There was no issue with it but you can't even tell if it's really on there and I guess that's the point. I think I'd feel better if I knew there was something there or a way to tell the new layer of protection had been added. There customer service was awesome. Please be aware though this product cannot be bought on Amazon.com. I found that out the hard way as it is not authorized to be sold there.
Top corners are not sealing tight. And ends up with air pockets and then it cracks. The cover that came with the package does not cushion the phone for any type of a fall the last time it fell only 2 ft from my hand and it ends up cracking again. I have never had problems with my phone's the past 25 years I know this helps protect the phone but with it constantly cracking I wish I could find a better phone protector to use
Honestly I'm not happy; this is the second time I've ordered this item; we bought our cell phones in June this year. This product is a bit cheap; the day after I put it on it got a scratch, it's not that good :(
Out of all my screen guards I have never been so dissatisfied. Applied to brand new phone with included template, and the protector would not stick to the screen. Protector is also smaller than the phone it was designed for. Ended up buying one from walmart and it not only applied by just dropping on the screen but has lasted more than 2 days. The replacement protector I got sent to be broke while applying to the phone
Gadget Guard FAILED to refund my deductible on a screen that got cracked using their product. I ate that cost, so overall Gadget Guard lacks integrity and then they want me to write a glowing review? Get bent, you owe me $100 of the $200 deductible. That your product works reasonably well is why I continue with it BUT when it fails, as it did you should make good on your contract. I thought about forcing you into Wisconsin small claims court but just didn't want the fuss. This all occurred March 29.
I'd go with another provider unless Gadget Guard makes good on their contract.
When you buy n they put it on your phone in store was only given receipt. Did not know had to register. People at store never tells you only go on line to replace. Gadgetguard was very helpful in the matter. Hopefully I don't have problem with other phone.
Bought through AT&T (they installed it) when I got my new phone. After paying $40 for this thing, it cracked within a month! Sure, they have a warranty... but you have to pay $10 EACH time for "shipping" to get a replacement! The last screen protector I had I paid $10 for and it lasted the 3 years that I had my phone! My phone was in perfect condition! I am not happy with this product and will never buy one again.
I have been sent 2 replacement phones, both are bad, both echos in other persons phone when connected, even did on a land line. Sent phone back and was told i would be credited the $60 back into my account. Still waiting as phone has been sent back thru FedEx on Dec 22. Phone was supposed to be factory refurbished, apparently did not do a complete inspection, one of the phones would not hook up to WiFi.
Not a happy camper.
I was a bit skeptical about spending the money on the gadget guard for my phone. But let me assure you it is definitely money well spent. If it breaks, no big deal just spend shipping and you have a new one. Way less expensive than buying a new phone. I have had my phone for over two years and because of the screen protector my phone looks brand new! Will always go to gadget guard over any other phone screen protector company
Good product. Good interaction with customer service. Weak on informing of shipping status and I never was able to apply thr 30% discount code and I paid full retail of $39.95. You are close in being a really good company. Thank you
I bought my first gadget guard tampered glass protector a few months ago. I have 2 Samsung Galaxy S8+. I have had to replace 4 screens after the original 2. They dont stay attached and the last one I received was broken.
Replacement screen was speedy in ordering and shipping. Only problem is it doesn't fit my phone as I have an 8 plus and the one sent fits a smaller phone. Would be thrilled if you could send me an 8 plus screen.
The glass cover broke pretty easily which was frustrating for something so expensive. And to pay $6 for a replacement (shipping) seems unfair because I doubt your cost of each glass is even $1. So feels like a bit of a sham.
I have had to replace my screen guard 3-4 times in the last 3 years. It is nice that the company has a (phone)life guarantee... but after having to pay shipping every time ends up costly. Especially that it has gone up $2 since my last replacement. In my experience, shipping should be free since I have now paid nearly $30 in replacement fees. I am careful with my phone. Not sure why the guard always seems to crack. It is a way to continue to make more money? If it cracks once more, I am done.
I didn't expect application to be so difficult. I've applied iPhone screen protectors before but this was completely different since this is my curved screen with the Samsung Note 9. I ended up needing a second one because of the complete disaster of the first time where I ended up breaking the protector. But second time around was good and I'm happy with my purchase. I also have peace of mind if my actual phone screen breaks. The insurance promise and the life time warranty of the black ice plus is relieving.
Answer: Yes. I just replaced mine, for free and free shipping too. The replacement arrived broken so I reached out to Gadget Guard and they sent ANOTHER replacement for the replacement completely for free with zero hassle. As long as you register your original purchased protector screen within the time frame allotted they will replace them for free. Definitely worth the initial investment. Their customer service has been really helpful and quick in my personal experience. I will continue to do business with them.
