She helped me resolve an issue I had very quickly and with success. Great experience, Thank you!
I asked questions about my options with my freelancer and Omer provided clear answers. I am relieved about the options and it takes the pressure off having the information
It's a little clunky at first, a bit laggy here and there and getting the right bids takes a bit of time but once it gets going money happens :)
It was kind, available and patient. Helps me to solve my problem. Wish to find her again when needing help nex time
I got a job, spent time to understand client and to finish project, sent files to client. But he cancelled the work wihout explanation. I open a disput. But Support didn't help me. Client receive files, did not pay for the job, rate me 1 star and I only paid freelancer.com tax. So, I lose time, money and rating. Client - recieve files. I'm thinking that is not normal.
I am happy with support team, they solved my problem.
Thank you very much.
I am happy with support team, they solved my problem.
Thank you very much
Wanda, from Help Desk, is great, is the best. She did exactly what I needed first, and plus, she explained to me what I needed to do next time. I am extremely happy with her service. I recommended her! Her job is perfect!
Great service from Barry N. However, the problem could not been solved. Frustrating. I execute all the steps the help desk describe, and I could not get my funds transfered to my Paypal account, so I suppose I have to ask for a wire transfer, which is exactly what I did not want to do. Help desk gives up at first try! Frustrating.
The solved my issue in a quickly, polite and patient way, I really appreciate it. Very understanding to the problem I had with the Membership Billing
Freelancer.com is a pretty good service with many usefull options. Extremely recommended it for a skilled guys. Unfortunately, I'm not ready to use it yet. I hope, in the future I'll be back to the freelancer.com.
Separately, I want to thank the excellent support service for efficiency and quality work with clients, especially Barry N.
I had a question about contacting with freelancer. Support officer, Kayla B, very clearly said me how to do it, also gave me some advice how to simplify the process of searching freelancers.
Freelancer is not only the largest market place, it is more than this. I started my journey with Freelancer 5 years ago. I had to resign my job and I was totally unemployed. In that situation Freelancer helped me and currently I am totally independent entrepreneur and earn good income. It gives me great opportunity to earn according to my efficiency and skills. I am so glad and thankful to Freelancer.
I was facing some issues with a client who awarded me with a project and didn't reply after that. I contacted to customer support and Ervin found me there. Erwin, was great to help me out with exactly what I wanted. He just only told me that I can get the payment or not but I also leave an email to the client id for that. I didn't even know about that option. It's nice to talk to him.
I hope that next time nobody will delete my project because don't know what is about it...
About what "require hacking of accounts" they speaking?
Good explanation and excellent attention, I explained my doubts very well and they helped me to clarify them
Antoinette B. Helped me by answer all my questions and giving me links to more questions I had as well as informing me of different policies.
Well i was worried about a project that went wrong i was able to pay my fee and i get extremly confused because i paid two times and still have a fee, the person who help me explain me she was very patience and i get all the recomendations and all went very well thank a lot.
Overall had a great experience. The support officer understood me and did a great job. The requestion was actioned and fixed. Thanks for you quick help
Jon D. Was very thoughtful and helpful in handling my concern. I have attempted to contact the employer on a number of occasions to get paid and have been very understanding and bent over backwards to accommodate the client who had various reasons why the compensation has been delayed. Since I have not heard from the client, I felt it was necessary to contact you for your support. I found that Jon D. Was very helpful in addressing my concern and need to request your assistance in getting compensated for the work I did. Jon also helped me understand how the projects get closed, since the project was completed already and it hasn't registered as complete to begin my completion rate. Thanks Jon. I hope this can be reconciled soon without any problems for anyone.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
