I am very happy everytime i contact with freelancer for any concern, every time i feel great experience.
All things good without Bid quality option, I am afraid, I just notice that my bid quality score is decreasing day by day where I am putting unique contents based on project requirements and getting enough new projects.
Please make a video instruction about bid quality score, that will help existing worker and new worker to keep the score high.
Thanks
Fast chat time response - my issue was quickly understood and resolved within minutes by way of a credit.
Jossie was very patient and explained everything very clearly to me. I liked how I was attended and I'm very satisfied.
Very fast response.
Very clear explanation.
I would like to thanks him.
I have just waited a very short time.
Excellent care and response to the problem presented. I needed to change my username and I could not do it through the site. Cyrill solved my problem and I was satisfied.
Excellent support, better project received. Everything seems fine. Thanks Freelancer for this opportunity.
It was good talking to him as he understood what i wanted, he did a good job for me.
Thanks for the support.
Cheers
Vijay
Very efficient service from Antoinette. I would not hesitate to use the chat function again. Antoinette was polite and quickly resolved my issue.
Efficient.
The employer's username was verified since there was no real information nor title of the project itself on the board non in the messaged. The messaged also contained attached links. Was then notified that the individual's account was closed due to violations of our Terms and Conditions.
My overall experience with Freelancer has been extremely disappointing. I think people troll on here for people with new profiles that haven't been on here. I accepted a job that was a scam and before I was paid by the scammer, my account was charged 10% of the job. I think that's bad for business on Freelancer's part. One could start to think that Freelancer has scammers trolling on purpose to add to their own payroll. The user experience of the site is TERRIBLE! It's not concise or user friendly, and if you need help... you'll be jumping through hoops to get it. The chat button doesn't take you to a chat, instead a FAQ/search bar, and you'll go around in that circle for about 3 times, I'm still not sure how to get to a chat immediately without hitting it several times. Thankfully I only had to use the chat twice. I did get to the email option eventually as well. Someone responded in 2 days, I responded back and I still haven't heard from him. All in all, I'll be ending my account. Craigslist will be better option than this. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars, I did get my money back, but that was after having to throw a tantrum via chat. Good customer service/support would've just done it, once the situation was explained, even better Freelancer wouldn't take the money until they see you've been paid. Bad for business, especially for freelancers.
Very poor support. What should take 24 hours ends up taking 6 days. They are biased towards customers and do not listen to or consider the worker's evidence. As a worker, you are always blamed.
I had a problem, for ages they couldn't fix it, this tech support guy "Ricky" fixed it in 2 mins, and he assisted me and was patient and polite.
Faye did a great job and resolved my issues. There's not much more to say except you shouldn't have a minimum of 100 characters to enter in a positive experience, this makes me never want to rate my experience again as time is money.
Was a satisfactory experience, very efficient people, and also very polite.
I have a problem with an employer from freelancer, and as soon I expressed my disagreement, she (Roxanne) fixed everything.
I had a list of things to do, all techy-formatting, CSS stuff, and Muhammad did it all. The job (which was admittedly a small one) was also done in a day, so I'm happy.
Well, looks good and you probably earn something of one tries hard enough but I did nothing at all and also got unpleasantly surprised with the self-prolonging premium membership. I will do my best not to overlook such things some other time. Hopefully next time I'll know better.
I've had a nice conversation in a chat with the support of freelancer.com in relation to any issues. They have been solved thanks to the help of the support team
Let me encourage you today: youre not only on the right track. You set the course for the rest of us. I appreciate you.
Faye its very helpful and very
Patience person. Thnak you very much suppoort center. They are very helpfully.
Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
