Olivia provided a clear and better understanding of the problem and guided me step-by-step to solve it effectively. Her support was very helpful and made the process much easier.
Thank you for your fast service. I was trying to 'Refund by deposit' through customer service. And Olivia solved it in seconds. Thank you once again. I will deposit some funds again soon and like to continue your services.
I just wanted to say thank you for the helpful and professional support I received. The team was responsive, polite, and resolved my issue efficiently. I really appreciate your assistance and the smooth experience. Keep up the great work!
The first time they suspended my profile because they thought I was looking for collaborations in the insurance and financial world; later I told them to read all the details of the project carefully and they finally understood that it was a collaboration for a web design project for a client who is part of the financial-insurance world; they then finally unblocked my account but I wasted time and the client for not being able to serve him promptly. In the last few days a freelancer asked me for my phone number in the platform chat for clarification regarding another project I had published; I indicated it in good faith. I then immediately found myself with a charge on my credit card of 77 euros without receiving a notice from Freelancer that recalled their terms of use of the service written in very small print (there would be grounds for a lawsuit since they are unfair clauses). I asked for explanations and they told me that I had been notified other times. I replied that they made this up and asked for the account to be unlocked quickly and the amount of money withdrawn to be refunded. ALL of this is truly unbelievable. Stay away from freelancer.com
Freelancer.com is a very good and useful platform according to freelancing. And as much as you can say about it, it is a trusted platform. I have been working on it since 2018. And I am very happy and satisfied working with them. I am not faced any problem or issues.
The staff member of Johnny T. Preferred Freelancer guided me very well on behalf of whom I have a lot of things to learn more about the Preferred Freelancer program.

The chat system is built-in and functional. Many freelancers report positive long-term relationships with good clients, especially once trust is built.
I had a meeting with Barry recently. He was to the point and very professional in his assessment. Nice experience overall.
Every time Freelancer's support team helped me out very nicely and solved my problems in minutes. Today I got help from Olivia she was very kind to me and listen my all issues calmly I really appreciate her. Thank you so much😊
I had an issue with unexpected automatic renewal and charges without prior notification, which was quite frustrating. However, the support team handled my request professionally, canceled my subscription, and issued a refund as a courtesy. I hope Freelancer can improve its notification system for renewals to make the process more transparent for users.
Jonny just conducted my PFP interview, in a professional manner. Interview was smooth. Great job. Keep up the good work.
I would like to thank heidi for giving me an accurate and prompt answer to a question that might have been a bit tricky.
I had an issue in deactivation of my account and the support team solved it very promptly. Big thank you to the team.
Everything went smoothly and I was approved but I was asked to complete documents but I was OOO for the afternoon and ALL work stopped because you blocked my account until the paperwork was done, I had several staff all worry they were not going to get paid and while it did not take long to approve once the paperwork was done a little warning would have been good, it cost me half a days work
My experience was positive, as I was able to leverage my knowledge base to help the user understand a somewhat complex financial transaction. The iterative nature of the conversation, where the user asked follow-up questions and expressed growing concern, allowed me to refine my explanations and tailor my advice to their specific situation. It highlighted the importance of clear communication, managing expectations, and guiding users towards the correct human channels (bank and platform support) when direct access to personal data is required.
Barry was friendly and asked me many questions about my work experience during the verification process. For clients, choosing a verified freelancer offers more assurance since Freelancer.com has already completed an initial screening. I hope more clients will choose verified freelancers to protect their interests. Barry was both professional and courteous throughout the process—five stars!
Erol solucionou meu problema de forma eficiente.

I really enjoyed talking to Jonny in order to enter Rising Stars program. He talked to me patiently and answered all my questions with respect. I hope they will grow more and more.
The conversation was too short, but that's because I didn't need much information to resolve my question. She clarified everything super quickly and was very kind. Thank you so much, Miss Pearl!

Answer: It is a PR platform that enables scammers to appear legitimate or verified. Freelancer doesn't care. They get a sizeable commission no matter if the posting is legitimate or not. Example: A fake ebook listing. Needs author to write 50000 words for US$ 2000. Unwitting freelancer bids and is 'awarded project' with message saying hurry up and accept. Once accepted, freelancer takes 'project fee' while you get tied up in their help callcenter trying to recoup not only the fee but potentially the fake employer gleaned from you using their platform. This site will be in the news soon. Trust me.
Answer: Hi Dejan. This happened to me in 2014, I lost a lot of money too, I withdrew the money on a Wednesday after the client had paid me $1000 in full. Then the next day, Thursday, I got a message that my withdrawal request was cancelled and the money reversed back to employer. My account was suspended and when I asked why, I was told that the employer looked like he was fraudulent and that the money might be fraud. Up to date, I am still bitter, angry and sad over that $1000 but I never got it back and Freelancer closed the person's account and that was that. So I hope this answers some of your questions and I am deeply sorry for your loss after such hard work. All the best
Answer: Freelancer.com focused on employer only, they just want as many employer and project as they can regardless of their country, verification status and deposits. However all the restriction is for employee. This is the reason Freelancer didn't stop them to post project without deposit. Almost 90% projects are fake (either posted by freelancer itself or fake/fraud employers). You have to be careful. Keep following things in mind will prevent you from fraud much. 1. Don't work for Employers from India/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Nigeria/Israel 2. Don't work for Employers whose name looks like Indian 3. Once the project is awarded to you, don't accept it unless the employer created initial milestone. Wait for at least 12 hours after milestone creation then accept it. 4. Ask for release step by step, don't work on next milestone unless previous is not released 5. Withdraw money from freelancer as fast as you can.
Answer: You can't say its fake but at the same time you can't just trust it fully. My point here is: people do get things done for the price but when it comes to money/payment, you can not trust freelancer. Sometimes it gets reversed from your account and you won't even get a satisfactory reason for it. I suffered a loss of 900 USD. All I get to hear that employer had some account issues and we can not disclose this any further. If you looking to work as a freelancer, go odesk or upwork and any other site first and then freelancer.com. Small incident: I worked for a client, designed the logo got the parent for it. Next day when looged in, my account showed negative balance ( payment reversed). Support: employer have acc. Issues Client: never came back or responded to any mails. Result: I worked and still in debt.
Answer: Dispute it with PayPal! Another beautiful example of why everyone hates Freelancer.
Answer: Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed" Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM
Answer: Agree, do not use credit card details - freelancer is a terrible organisation when it comes to finances - they just debit your card at will, no warning, no opportunity to review the transaction, no notification of the charge - you just find out once you get your bank statement. Be very, very wary of this company - not saying their dodgy, BUT they are very devious when it comes to transactions. I think their motto is - "debit any time, just don't tell them and they wont complain"
Answer: Contact Paypal and file a dispute. I got a refund for the monthly amount that they should not have charged me for.
Answer: Good afternoon Rostyslav, unfortunately this has happened to most users of Freelancer including people who have been awarded projects. Ensure that you do not start any work or event accept a project until the following criteria have been met: 1. Project awarded 2. Initial milestone/deposit created 3. Client agrees to release the first payment immediately after you accepting the project. If they are unable to do this, tell then politely that you are unwilling to start on the project and keep looking for honest, legitimate clients. Be careful at all time on this website, even if you do vey thing by the book and the client still doesn't pay, the Freelancer support team will not help you. It is left to you to contact the client and chase the payment even of they delete their account.
Answer: Don't share you card. Use Paypal. First of all don't use freelancer they are scammers.
