I have purchased two engines and a transmission from Fraser in the last couple of years. If I were to grade their products based on these three items I would have to consider their output to be average at best. As for satisfaction with their warranty claim representatives, trying to get one of them to return any of my calls has been ridiculous and their efforts to get back with the Automotive Repair Shop should also be considered a complete failure. Trying to communicate with any of them causes complete and utter frustration. I truly believe customer satisfaction is not even a consideration. The repair shop and I have been led along for nearly three weeks only to find out that just now they will send the repair shop a motor but only after another 4 weeks. Now that they have finally make an attempt at honoring the claim there is a nationwide shortage of 4.0 parts. Go figure. Now I will wager that after 4 weeks I will have to start calling again to find out why the repair shop still has no engine for my vehicle because they certainly won't be calling me. I am very doubtful that any future customer will get to see this feedback. I can only hope that those responsible for this horrendous experience are dealt with swiftly and effectively.

What an idiot. Ordered a motor reluctantly since such bad people skills of the salesman. He said motor would ship "tomorrow", a week later i asked him about the shipment. He said it would ship on thursday and if i got no confirmation to call back on friday. I called on friday and he said it was shipped and i should recieve confirmation same day but if not any confirmation by monday to please call back and he would look into it. Monday came and went so on tuesday i thought i would give the courtesy call he requested of me. Wow, i was not expecting such s rude pr. K! I did not even say hello and his words were, "is this patrick"? I said yes, and that is when he started laying into me. He smarted off didnt i just get off the phone with you, your an unruly customer, i should just call and turn the truck around, you have no right calling me. I snapped back that his empty promises and the fact he had $4000 of mine was justification enough as well as he was the one requesting my call. I also let him know that once the motor is shipped, he literally cannot turn the truck around nor has he shipped my motor. Positive part of this purchase: full refund.
First transmission replacement; Fraser sent me a direct check for $800 to cover my mechanic. We let it go the radiator/oil/AAA tow bill. Now after transmission 2 & 3 I have been directed for 4 months too Moveras the actual transmission manufacturer; who will be $300 of the $800 bill for my mechanic. I am out $1000. 00 To top it off "PAUL" said 6 weeks ago "he would make it right, if Moveras continued to refuse to make the payment" and today the "owner" said he was contacting his attorney and i am not to ever call there again. Note: the decision to install this 4th transmission was after checking with Ford for $1200 labor cost; and $3000 for a new transmission that "Paul" and i determined this would be the last time i would try the Fraser sold to me transmission. They reinterated that they are a "broker" selling others products, and i should be furious at Moveras. However, having one check for the 1st transmission for $800; and then the promise "to make it right" today they state nope-it wont happen.
Communication is key factor when dealing with warranty factors,Mr salin clarified issues which is greatly appreciated.
7 months with out a car and still do not have the warranty engine replaced, they have lied repeatedly about the engine being replaced and shipped to my mechanic. Beware!

Asked for a transmission and engine quote and I was sent a screen shot of what is already on the website. The information provided was just the engine pricing and not the transmission. I asked for the Engine and transmission quote three times over text and again over an email reply. I never once received an quote for the transmission. I recommend taking down the option to get quotes if all your going to do is ignore what is actually being requested and just trying to brush people off with information that is already on the website. I was excited to do business with this vendor after hearing the August 7th podcast about their high ranking customer service. But turns out it was in fact the worst Customer service I ever encountered. This is just one conversation. I did not add the emails or the other person who text me also Or the other emails that tried to rush a review before I was even was given the information I requested. I added photos of the text, yes I misspelled words, but I was speed typing because I was frustrated at that point. This was the third contact I received from this company and I never was given the price of the transmission. I uploaded the text because I don't want this company to lie and say I am making this up. I know my rating doesn't count in this vendors eyes because after listening to the podcast, if you're not an "official" Customer they just don't count your rating. Now I see why.
Good luck with Fraser honoring your warranty when your engine fails. They stall, delay, make the entire process of getting your engine repaired horrible.

So earlier tonight I'm directed to this 'SiteJabber.com' site to leave a review for another company. When prompted to sign up for an account, I discover that by signing-in with Google I already have an account where of three reviews I had long forgotten about, Fraser Engines was number 1. It took me a minute because it had to have been in early Spring of 2018 when I contact Fraser about needing an engine for my then 2008 Mazda 3. It all came back to me and I couldn't be more happy that I never transacted anything with these people.
The long & the short is like this: I spoke with a man who initially was helpful and informative. He said they had my engine, that it would be a remanufactured engine. I was quoted and we were to speak the following day. The next day, there was something about my order needing to go through a manager for some reason or the other, do it was then a waiting game. The way it ended was just simply that contrary to what had been discussed, they actually did not have my engine in stock, remanufactured or otherwise and basically escalated to me attempting to reach a member of their management team. This never came to pass. In the end, it was a complete disappointment and frankly, I remember being very angry over this. I know there is more detail in there that just doesn't come right to me but I can say, without reservation, thst I am so grateful for never doing business with this place. After reading some of the reviews, I couldn't help but remember what a mess this was! Never would I do business with this place!
What should be blatantly obvious is that what this place is doing is inflating the actual retail value of these engines, then turning around, locating the engine from who or wherever, tagging it to their business name and then passing it back along to the vehicle owner. I note a previous user who was waiting for over a month for an engine he was told they had available. They may have some stock but it's minimal. I would not EVER do business with this place. It's nauseating reading the experiences of others.

Called today 9/11/2020 again after getting a run-around about two valve-3 valve engine. That they said they couldn't tell from the previous call. Wasted two days and the previous guy said he couldn't tell from my VIN? So talked to this guy * who said he is the owner? After going thru what I want to order a 4.6 engine with gold option, he said he had to add a mandatory $99 fuel charge because of the weight? First I have never heard of this in three different calls to explain the charges. So I guess I'm fine and tell him I want to use the $100 coupon and he then tells me that by check or bank transfer. He says its right on the coupon, just not exactly as he said, it says e-check which probably has no charge back protections. So i ask to speak to the Owner, and he says hes the owner and he will pray for me? This deal got bad with all the additional charges and they even charge for the core upfront and make you prove return. Also the $99 fuel charge is just another fee as most trucking companies charge flat rates. The BS to take away protections of after sale for chargeback is unheard of today in this business, so if you do decide to do business here be wary and make sure its all in writing.
PS after posting this review on this site and others I got a text from *******612 that was run by someone at Fraser engines that reveled all of my bio and address. I will file a police report concerning this matter and will document to other sites

Tried to get a quote for a engine on a Ford Mustang GT. I tried to get with a person to ask a couple questions before purchase. I tried calling twice, I tried thru e-mailing 4 to 5 times and 5 or more text, but to no avail. I would get alot of text/ e-mail asking me if someone had contacted me and I always replied with "No" still no help. Finally called again on my lunch and got hold of a salesperson Anthony who told me that they had just sold the last one a hour ago ( remember I started calling 6 hours previous) to purchase - when I balked at that he told me " I could pout about it later, but he would check" - he came back and said he had one on hold, but had not been paid for, but had to purchase in the next 30 minutes. I had my mechanic try to call him and he was extremely rude to him also, so I did not purchase. (Desperate for a engine, but not that desperate) I; m sure he thought we were just browsing and wasting his time, but If someone from the company wants to get in touch with me - I will be glad to produce the bill of sale from another company that I purchased from. FYI - I wouldn't act like that unless you are the only engine builder in America. Would give a negative review if I could. Angry in Texas

Dealng with Anthony is impossible; he is rude and obnoxious. Now I am going to get an attorney and probably fly to Michigan for a lawsuit.
