Norbert Fazekas
Broozbirds
Flippa account: *******
Full of scammers and Flippa banns the only good ones, without reason.
DON'Z SELL, DON't BUY ON FLIPPA, EVER!
I WAS a seller on Flippa under the name of my Company Broozbirds. They suddenly out of nowhere banned me with the reason of shill bidding. Meaning I bid on my own auction. Of course that never happened. I even have proof that never happened, but Flippa won't even write me back. They don't listen to the sellers. They don't care about customer protection, nor about seller protection. Sites if full of scammers and they banned me, one of the only legit sellers, and I can't even prove my case.
My name is Norbert Fazekas, I did what they say I made their money and they banned me without a reason.
If you are looking to sell my advice is:
NEVER USE FLIPPA for your own good.
If you are looking to buy my advice is:
NEVER USE FLIPPA for your own good.
They did this in a way that many buyers are left without the completion of our transaction, and I can not communicate with them about what happened.
No communication.
No protection.
High costs.
Buggy Platform.
Scammers everywhere especially at Flippa headquarters.
They will find any reason to ban an account. They have banned my account for someone sent fake things to them. I didn't do that I sent all the proofs to them. WORST SERVICE EVER!
Absolutely the best company and customer support what I ever experienced. Every time when I had an issue, they were very helpful and professional.
I took several days before the dispute was handled, no proactive actions from Flippa. So I have to do all the work again. It is a pain in the $#*!.
Somewhat satisfied with my experience, had the fortune to have worked with decent people. Recommended anytime.
Flippa has been a great service for me as a buyer and a seller. I've never had any problems in either capacity.
The Flippa site itself is fine, but there should be some basic rules that would seem obvious, but should not have to be spelled out. For example: I bought a plug-in business. I asked to see it understand more about it, and was given a view of the tool, but I didn't get an explanation of the thick blanket of aggressive marketing surrounding it. In the end I finally understood the approach: just one Wordpress plug-in, and that's it. Everything else was smoke and mirrors of marketing funnels. This is actually FINE. Ok, that's what they did. Fine, I'll go my way with it.
But then that aggressive marketing spoke to the character of at least one of the people selling the product on Flippa. Immediately after I bought the business (plug-in, marketing, customers), his tech team dismantled the entire thing and moved it to a different host, without really explaining why, or getting my permission (but all the while telling me it was for me, and it would be cheaper and therefore better for me).
It's got to be fundamental to Flippa that a seller does nothing to the thing being sold, at least not without the buyer's approval. It was too late when I found out. He then delivered to me an incomplete mess. At that point I would have preferred to take my money off the table and have it bid again, or at least withhold agreeing to buy until he could present a working business. And of course, from then on, it was pulling teeth to get all access info, to find out what was where, what did what, what work was left over, that he was now saying I need to contract someone else to complete.
This was a really bad experience. I'm not really seeking to buy from Flippa gain. My next purchase was on MicroAcquire, at a higher valuation because I just didn't trust the FLipaa system to do right by "generally understood" principles.
Lot of missing expenses in the P&L statements. Most of the P&Ls that I have seen are not correct. It is m=extremely missleading
I have sent numerous messages to flippa support to get my refund from escrow. I cancelled this sale and put in a dispute and have not heard anything
Josh and Ricky were great in helping me through the entire process and keeping me updated every step of the way.
They take your credit to verify your credit card and do not pay you back as they promise. Absolute fraudsters.
Very smooth transactions. Keeping all comms on the Flippa platform gave me security and a chance of comeback should I have required it.
Perfect place to buy scams, or cookie cutter sites/apps that don't make anywhere near as advertised.
WORST SERVICE EVER! I have been working with flippa since 6 years and they Banned my account for someone fake sent fake things to them he made something fake and told them I sent him lewd images and I didn't do that I sent all the proofs to them and even video for the full conversation they didn't believe me they believe the new account has been 5 days only and my account has been 6 years with 100% positive feedback, he is new on flippa and he scammed me he let me signed for the agreements and took all suppliers info then he didn't want to pay and he made fake things and send it to flippa and they believed him! I sent all the proofs they just banned without hearing from my side! I made sales for more than $47,000 and I am banned now! And I leave a comment saying what happened with me on there Instagram page they told me they will look about the case and contact with the support then they blocked me from the Instagram page! They blocked there customers without solving there problem
This is FAKE COMPANY and they don't even respect there customers, they don't accept the truth they just want to appear perfect on the social media without letting people saying the truth of the comapny
I signed up in November. After buying 12 mediocre cookie cutter sites and 2 apps, I started being more prudent about the quality of product at Flippa. The last thing I bought was an app which cost $225. The Seller didn't mention before the sale of an additional transfer fee of $45 to use escrow.com. It wasn't in the listing. I communicated with the seller to find solutions, but he filed a dispute. I didn't agree and Flippa suspended me. Being the first time this happened, I immediately contacted customer support and explained and asked for help.
No help, Flippa's way of dealing with my concerns was to ask for a scan of my Passport, and a photo of me. My passport? I was cautious and asked why all my personal info for a $225 product that I questioned? They said it was policy. Who asks for passports? Ebay? Amazon? I was suspicious and concerned. Instead of reassurance, they started being rude and plain bad.
A certain *, one of their customer service integrity people decided in a rude and unjust manner to Ban me FOR LIFE. All because I asked too many questions and tried to have a fresh start with Flippa. My curiosity took me to a google search about Flippa dn *. Lots and lots of negative reports about flippa and * He is bad news. I raised suspicion about the products, my identity security, and unscrupulous sellers and * took his Napoleonic short man complex and banned me for life.
The lesson, I dont lose out, and probably save money not using Flippa. Flippa sells bad quality product, Flippa customer service is often rude, Flippa wants to make Money through an abundance of shady sellers from 3rd world countries cranking out cookie cutter template sites and apps. If a Buyer like me questions things, they get banned.
By the looks of all the negative reviews about Flippa Online, I'm not the only buyer who was treated like dirt by Flippa and also *

I listed a small website on flippa for x, xxx. After paying 200 dollars Flippa asked for my id. But not just my id. They asked to me to hold my id next to my head. I looked around to see what reviews exist about Flippa and their verification process.
Apparently they want to use what banks use to verify customers, KYC. Which stands for Know Your Customer.
Flippa states their escrow is "powered" by Assembly Payments.
Looking up reviews and information on Flippa plus Assembly Payments doesn't yield good results.
Claims are being made that Assembly Payments (formerly known as PromisePay) was fined over 20,000 dollars for operating illegally without a license in Texas.
The State of Texas additionally made Assembly Payments get a license because it is illegal to operate in every state in America without either a money transmitter license and/or an escrow license for the type of business that Texas decided that Assembly Payments was operating as.
Checking online with many states, I can not find licenses for the escrow service that Flippa is partnered with. People online state that Flippa states that their escrow service is accredited.
That is true. Accredited in Australia under a license that covers low level transactions in Australia.
So Flippa is collecting very private and sensitive identification from users while their own escrow service is apparently unlicensed in majority of states in America.
Because of this, I will not be sending in my id to Flippa and instead will let everyone I know in the domain and website marketing community know how we're all sending in private info under KYC to a company that doesn't have proper licenses to even offer Escrow in most of America. (And perhaps other countries too!)
I was going through Flippa and it asked for the verification through SumSub which requires you to submit all your identity cards. That's when I tried to read reviews about SumSub. This is what came up -
'Zarkoza states Sumsub is russian, actually they appear to be located in same area as many UKRANIAN oligarchs.
In fact their front is near the infamous Burisma Holdings and other Panama Papers companies.
But it's true they were originally funded and operated by Putin allies. Really scary that they have SO many american, european, and expat ids and personal info.'
The founders are Russian: Peter, Andrey and Yakov Sever and Vladislav Zholudev. And little is known about their background and that you should be careful before sharing your US id.
Also apparently they take all your IDs only to reject you in the end. This has been a very common problem. 'Too many people in the reviews having issues with the ID verification process and flippa support just flat out banning them and not giving them another chance to prove their identity. I'd be extremely upset and worried if I turned over my ID and everything was 100% accurate but still got rejected. Other websites were easily able to verify'
EXERCISE CAUTION!
Flippa didn't help me make the transfer to the Amazon FBA account at all.
He just issued me the invoice to pay.
In a nutshell - dont use Flippa! I sold my site on Flippa and have been appalled by the costs and fees they charge in relation to the service they offer. Flippa now have enough competitors and if you dont want all your hard work going into Flippas greedy pockets, I suggest you use someone else. I wish I had.
Adding up the amount Flippa took from the sale of my site including listing fees, transactions fees, commission fees, it added up to nearly 25% of the total amount the site sold for. 25%! That is just stealing. I understand that they provide a platform to sell sites but their marketing is misleading and their service is awful, and 25% is just too much. Who takes 25%? Not even trading platforms or estate agents.
For the premium listing they say theyll feature your site on their homepage and in the newsletters. But if other sellers have bought the premium listing as well on the same day, your site will only be on the homepage until its pushed off by other sellers who have just paid. My site was listed on the homepage for around three hours! Then it was pushed to page two, then three, then four and into the void within a day or two. That was not worth paying $249 for!
I value the site I built and its quality and Im not surprised it sold at auction at a good price. And it would have sold equally well on Flippas competitor platforms (theyre easy to find). So in hindsight I regret using Flippa. Nowadays theyre nothing special.
If you are looking around now for an auction platform to sell your site or app, read all the reviews on Flippa, check out their competitors and make a good business decision. Flippa is not the default option by far and theyre massively greedy.
Plus I know of people who have complained and had their listings taken down, just like that.
Avoid Flippa people! There are other good options out there and you dont need to just give your hard earned money to Flippa in this way.
Answer: Flippa runs for super sellers, and most of the super sellers are flippa employees
Answer: Same here. Extremely rude person.
Answer: Yes, they are! It's a robbed businesses model ( take fees => ban => wait for a nextone and so on...) I notice some racism (they hate Ukrainians). Doubled fees, fake people are bidding without payment need to relist ( it's take over 1 month, but domain renewal comes). Don't use it! Stay away!
